Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba has refuted some online news reports that he has requested for an audience with President Edgar Lungu to remain in the PF.
Mr Mwamba said what was reported by some unnamed online news outlet is untrue, malicious and a fallacy.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Mr Mwamba said he does not need to plead with President Lungu to stay in the PF.
He said he is a self made man and that the decision to endorse UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema in last month’s presidential election still stands.
Below is Mr Mwamba’s posting.
Dear friends,
I wish to plainly state and refute any supposed statement that has been attributed to me on some trash online media.the statement states that I have requested for audience with His Excellency Edgar Lungu so that I plead to him not to be hounded out of the party.This is not only untrue but malicious and a fallacy.
I wish to implore my supporters that any comments, suggestions, remarks and statements regarding my political standing shall not be through trash social media, unless from my official Facebook page.
The position I took to endorse Hakainde Hichilema still stands and I urge all those that are my supporters not be misguided by fly by night online enthusiasts who I have never given any statement to.
I see no reason why I should seek for an audience with President Lungu at this point in time as I am very busy with what has made me to be who i am today(self made man).
Just remain quiet, you are a loser. You thought you were going to block Edgar but time has shown that you are still a political novice.

That’s so true. Most politicians comprise what they stand for because of a few pieces of silver. The way Sata used to ridicule his cabinet in front of their children and the whole nation and non of them could resign.
GBM and others from the north who supported HH in 2015 bye-elections, show that their effort to HH where not in vain. HH improved from the 2011 election by about 1000% in Northern and Muchinga Provinces. At that rate, HH will harvest enough votes to upset the one who will stand on PF ticket next year!
