Share

Nkana fought back to draw 2-2 at home in Kitwe against old foes Mighty Mufulira Wanderers in a pre-season friendly played at Nkana Stadium.

The promoted side took a 2-0 halftime lead through Fumbeni Muwowo and Moses Nyambe in the 37th and 41 minutes respectively.

Nkana equalised in the 66th minute when striker Felix Nyaende powered his way past Mighty’s defence to cut the visitors lead before Given Sinyangwe headed in the equaliser in the 77th minute.

The game was Mighty’s first game since they kicked off their 2015 pre-season training three weeks ago.

Nkana on the other hand came into their fourth pre-season match on the back of two wins over Napsa Stars and Kitwe United.

Some of you may b too young to know that fans loved calling you Mighty iwine cungulo for the reason that your team always knew that you stopped attacking the other team only when the referee blew the final whistle. However, welcome back to the premier league with this draw. Let Mopani know that Mufulira mines production rises when Mighty win-courtesy of Dennis Liwewe mhrip
