What UPND President Hakainde Hichilema learnt as he interacted with the youth

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema

I had wonderful interaction with a number of students and other fellow young Zambians on various subjects.
But of course, the usual cry that comes up is the need for urgent action in addressing their plight, especially lack of meaningful job opportunities.

One of our main campaign commitments that we would have addressed by now would have been an immediate reversal to the retirement age from the PF’s 65 years back to 55 or even 50 years.
This measure alone would have guaranteed immediate job spaces for a number of our highly trained and vibrant young people currently roaming the streets of our cities.

It is important that our colleagues in the PF, who equally promised the same, honor this commitment of reversing the retirement age with immediate effect.
Our commitment has always been to create viable business environment to the working Zambians so that they can seek for other opportunities while they are still in their prime times of their lives.

We look forward to a situation where Zambians can be entrepreneurs early in their working lives so that they can happily create job spaces in the civil service and private sector jobs for young people.
Zambians at an early stage should equally be employers of many other young people that are completing their tertiary training from colleges and universities.
Another thing that keeps coming up in our interactions with students is the lack of spaces for industrial attachments in most organisations where they can practice their trade while doing their training.
We believe some form of incentives can be created for organisations that offer internships to specific number of our students from learning institutions, especially in private sector.
It is pointless to be asking for years of experience when engaging these young graduates when opportunities are not being created for them to practice their trade while in training institutions.
In addition it was also clear that our education curriculum is still too theoretical. It needs urgent reforms so that our student graduates should not only look for jobs, but should be in a position to venture into meaningful job creation activities as well.
Otherwise, it was quite refreshing to chat with our youths from various learning institutions, despite the usual depressing stories of their joblessness.
As earlier announced, we shall soon engage on our countrywide tour to further interact with other fellow Zambians and thank them for the votes in January 20th elections.
Have a wonderful day to you all and God bless.

Hakainde Hichilema

  1. You would have made an awesome president!! Too bad you don’t fit into the Zambians profile for presidency: Sick and visionless

    • Unfortunately, we Zambians have become so used to hardship that we now celebrate poverty…..how can it be “infintu ni Lungu”….and we are ok queuing up for hours on end for fuel when there is no shortage of the commodity on the world market…..Lets try HH

    • what has happened to the 215 utopian promised that ichilema wanted to shove down the zambians throats less than 60 days ago?

You can f00l some people sometimes but you cant f00l all the people all the time

We are able to see through you parochial and selfish plans, which are devoid in substance and viable development plans for the country except for yourself and your tribal men and women in your tribal pack called upnd.

Nawakwi is far better as president than you and your masonic motives.

Sorry never my vote under any circumstances

    • HH YOU ARE THE RIGHT MAN THAT ZAMBIA NEEDS FOR PRESIDENCY. GOD HAS GIVEN US, BUT SATANISTS ARE LEADING US ELSEWHERE. AS LONG AS THESE FEW GLUTTON AND SICKLY BEMBAS AND NYANJAS KEEP BLOCKING TONGAS FROM ASCENDING TO POWER, ZAMBIA WILL REMAIN A BACKWARD AND A SUFFERING COUNTRY FOR EVER. NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES ARE BUSY FIGHTING CORRUPTION AND MENDING THEIR ECONOMIES, BUT ZAMBIA AND ZIMBABWE STILL REMAIN HELL ON EARTH.

    • Which meanful jobs . You the same U5 said you would sustain strret vendors. Zmbians are too advanced for cheap politics. Tha fact that you can convince nega negans does not make you cleaver enough dribble this great nation.

We have said it many times but you seen sturbon.

HEAR ME! U WILL NEVER BE A PRESIDENT IN ZAMBIA. YOU CAN NEVER WIN AS COUNCILOR IN LUSAKA. NEVER! NEVER! its good you are spending money on politics because its pay back time. U plundered a lot such that u are one of the top richest zambians.

    • What jobs are the youths dicussing with you when they know you sold their companies and pocketed the money. most youths know you have shares in all companies you sold. Iwe Sa.tana Tawakatekepo.

    • He is just playing on the minds of the youth who have never done economics. That is economic theory for first year students: Employment/unemployment, exchange rates, borrowing and lending rates, sources of capital, you name it. In practice, it’s not as simple as that. You end up privatizing state companies for a song, buy them yourself and start boasting you are rich

    • This man killed mazoka, sata and now wants to kill Edgar ,that is the only way he can be president. He wants to be the richest in Zambia that is his goal. Concentrate on polygamy policies in Nega nega

    • @St Mary Magadalena, Robin, Fyanta mbuzi, Gen

HH is innocent, dont be delusional like Sata in his last years. You already had HH in police custody last week, why didnt you slap those charges of theft of public money on him? You get search warrants on a whim. You searched nothing was found. You people mingle with known thieves, because they buy you drinks its ok.

    • UPND Cadre from Ngombe: You want to start legal battles with someone who has stolen money? Waste of time

    • @St Mary Magadalena, in your case then shut it and move on, do not bring it up again.

  2. …I hear you HH. UPND is the only party that can provide better social-economic programmes for the many unemployed youths of this great nation.

It doesn’t mean that if the youths do not have jobs today then they are useless, NO!!

Give them a helping hand and lets see what they can do

    GOD BLESS ZAMBIA. VIVA HH

    • UPND had good quality leaders the likes of Hamududu, the major factor blocking the party from forming goverment is HH.

  3. mr akainde u could have made a good vice president but all u wanted was to reach presidency..don’t u recall the days of the Pf upnd pact.if only u could reverse time, now its too late for u

    • Jobreaker i am sure you dont understand what you are saying. You know the problem Sata had. And for your own information let me assist you with your gramma. HH is Hakainde Hichilema and not what you are framing.

    • IT IS PITIFUL THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. WHAT IMPACT WOULD HE MAKE AS A VICE PRESIDENT? DO YOU KNOW THE ROLE OF A VICE PRESIDENT LET ALONE THAT OF A PRESIDENT? PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT ON ISSUES YOU HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT. IGNORANCE IS WHAT HAS MADE US TO BE IN THE PATHETIC SITUATION WE ARE IN WHEN THE COUNTRY IS ABUNDANTLY ENDOWED WITH RESOURCES.

  4. Most Zambians will question HH’s contribution so far to the zambian economy. But the truth is there, when you go to shoprite,Pick n pay,Southern sun hotels, Zambeef etc, think of HH. This MAN has a heart for zambians by investing in this nation and thereby assisting the government to create jobs. How many zambians are employed in the named companies? Please people don’t be cheated by LAZY politicians who only want to survive on your tax payers money that HH is a bad man. Only he who has a relative in shoprite etc will appreciate what i am saying.

    • @ Gift.. you are very right. HH is owning 25% of this economy where thousands of Zambians are employed and this is a huge contribution to this economy. Those who have doubts, you can check his profile…HH2016

    • Yes , now we are used to your rants about HH being president but he always loses. If its the will of God HH will rule Zambia but if it is not HH will not .

Peace and Proserity to Mother Zambia.

  5. Well said HH. There are many of us who fully understand and appreciate your vision for Zambia. You understand the Zambian economy and all it’s interconnections well because you are highly trained, you were a top investment consultant, you chaired many boards locally and internationally and you are an investor yourself. You have all the necessary exposure! I’m still campaigning for you and I’ll still vote for you in 2016. Someday we will get it right in Zambia and end all these jokes we have been subjected to since independence!

    • HH is simply after being President nothing else.
He lies that he has a magic bullet to solve economic ills of the country when he knows that he does not.
Bet if HH by miracle won, the first thing he will do is blame the past governments and ask for 10 years to solve the problems. 10 years will end with mines not paying anything, Zambians paying more electricity bills to subsidize the mines while he will be getting commissions. He cheats that he will not need a salary yet he will make more money through dubious back door commissions. Bwana you will never be President. Come 2016 it is 5th defeat. This one will be the easiest. Exchange rate came to K3 per dollar because Copper prices hit over USD8000/MT. This is the issue not economic management you want to claim. Bepeniko abashaishiba

  6. In zambia we dont vote on principle-economic and policy statutes of the candidate, but merely on emotional, regional lines.

That is why usually the best candidates are not picked because of “he is not one of us” syndrome.

The common man out there doesnt seem to analyse these issues and they are the majority voters.

  7. Thanks to you our dear President HH. Come 2016 or before I will continue supporting and I promise to Vote for you once more.

  8. Zambia needs to reposition its self.We need a fresh start. The institutions of Governance have been weakened .Our moral fibre has been eroded.Corruption is very normal and hard work no longer pays.Zambians should strive to come with a strong constitution with a thrust towards strengthening the Local government if development is to be seen at grassroot level.HH is the only one at the moment who can put zambia on the world map other wise the country is dying slowly in the hands of shameles criminals mascurading as leaders.PF is contaminated with Tribalism and Nepotism. These two vises are the greatest enemy of development and civilisation.

    • Unfortunately tribalism and nepotism have become effective tools to use to easily convince the faint hearted not make right choices!

  9. We appreciate your wonderful achievement in losing us 4 consecutive presidential elections and at this rate of efficiency even the 5th is likely to go by. As an ardent expert on business strategy you will no doubt try to apply new tactics – changing leadership in UPND so you focus on business management you are without doubt good at but not politics.

  10. Right now, we are lining up for gasoline when just last night the issue of crude oil oversupply was discussed on Al Jazeera. All we get from the PF minister responsible for gasoline and other energy products is a lackluster statement that such and such is being offloaded or garbament is doing this and that…. bla bla bla.
Elsewhere, where people are serious, the minister would have resigned and the folks responsible for fuel supply chain management, summarily dismissed. But again…this is not ELSEWHERE, this is Zambia, akachalo kabo!

  11. HH is simply after being President nothing else.

    • @JL
Naimwebene, bepeniko abashaishiba. Ba JL please landenipo palifya fyuelo (abasungu batila fuel). Bushe imwebene muleunfwa bwino ifi tuletantama ukufwayo ukushita petro iya K100?
Namipapata mulebako sincere no kukwatako ka conscience panono please!

  12. @ GIFT,

Does your HH has to do with the coming of Shoprite, Spar, P n P ?

How much assets and cash do your HH has ?

  13. HH, you can’t reduce unemployment for the youth by reducing the retirement age to 50. Going by your suggestion, you actually want to retire experienced people and make them irrelevant to society though them being able bodied and who can still contribute positively to the nation. Note that most civil servants’ pensions of those who fall in these categories are of no economic value once retired and hence their retirement benefits and pensions will dry up quickly and thus become a burden to their children, not all are businessmen like you.

The best is to create more employment for the youth by encouraging more productivity in the country, small and medium scale businesses (entrepreneurship) should also be encouraged. Embark on a major housing building project in all province.

    • @Dyonko,13, I share some of you views!! How do you create jobs by retiring people at 50?? This is the worry some of us have about HH- he sometimes proposes ! In most instances at 50 people become more seasoned with their work and if they have been working in same institution they have institutional memory or if they have been changing jobs they have wide experience to propel enterprises to greater heights now HH wants to retire them!I believe we need innovative solutions to grow the economy by developing sectors that can be creating new jobs rather than thinking about recycling the same limited jobs through early retirements. I agree we need to reform the curriculum to encourage entrepreneurship and encourage things like youth empowerment fund and CEEC to make people self employed.

    • @Zambia ni yatu, thank you and I agree with you. Zambia’s population of those below 25 years is 66% (0 – 14 is 46%) of the population estimated at 14.6 million, and 25 – 54 years old is 28.5% whilst that of those between 55 and 64 years old is 2.9% of the population. Thus, HH’s proposals will have no significant effect on unemployment reduction for the youth. It will only bring about another social strain on the other end of the population.

Like you say among other things, growing the economy and making the youth relevant to the economy by empowering them with set technical skills can significantly reduce youth unemployment.

It’s a pity people support blindly without scrutinising policies, most of which don’t add up and make sense. On the surface it makes good reading but are…

  14. Zambians have become more useless than Zimbabweans who always get fooled into voting for Robert Mugabe. Zambians have become victims of self destruction and foolishness. How do you expect a country when you have The most useless president to ever rule Zambia and ministers such as Chisimba Kambwili who only care after their tummies? For instance two months have passed and nothing tangible has been done to address the economic ills the country is facing. All that Lungu has been doing is to excute revenge dismissals of his perceived enemies. He has just been hiring and firing. When will he get down to serious work? Now he is going to continue nursing his illness. Surely the money being spent on his travels and the ministers he is going with could have been put into better use in the country.

  15. @JL
You’re typical of people with small brains. Don’t show your ignorance here. That is why you vote with your ass and not your brain for useless people who cannot take the country anywhere you monkey.

    • @Justo
How big is your brain with that kind of a comment?
Comparing your comment with JL’s, one can safely say that JL is better than you.
      Learn to debate issues.

    • Ba @ Justo
No need to argue. If you cannot see beyond my message. Just keep quiet as you just manifesting ignorance of basic information.

  16. Zambians can only blame their foolishness for choosing to vote for a patient as their president. If you go to buy a car, and you see that the car is smoking badly but choose to ignore that you can only blame your foolishness and not the garage if the engine knocks just after a few days of buying it. Lungu should have been a reject right from the start. Zambian politicians are becoming very famous for their politics of the stomach. Lungu is already impotent!!!

  17. A FEW GREEDY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BENEFITING FROM THIS ROTTEN PF GOVERNMENT ARE IN CONTINUOUS DENIAL THAT TONGAS CAN PROVIDE A GOOD PRESIDENT, HENCE THEY CONTINUE TO DISADVANTAGE OUR COUNTRY OF THE MUCH NEEDED DEVELOPMENT BY BLOCKING A TONGA PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FROM ASCENDING TO POWER. ZAMBIA WILL CONTINUE TO WALLOW IN THIS MESS AS LONG AS THIS RUBBISH KEEPS BEING ENTERTAINED. EMANCIPATE YOURSELVES ZAMBIANS. IF YOU DON’T FIGHT FOR YOUR OWN SURVIVAL, NO ONE WILL. STAND UP AND CONDEMN THE EVIL WHICH THESE GREEDY POLITICIANS HAVE BROUGHT ON US AND OUR CHILDREN. ARISE! ARISE! ARISE!

  18. one person’s investment is not measure for leadership. people must get that clear. again, people should know that everyone is looking where to invest and whoever works in certain investments is not one that a person should boast of creating employment otherwise it will be like blackmailing people or holding them to ransom. this talk of hh portrayed as big investor should not in any way be used as bait for presidency. hh wants business just like all others.

    • You`re really dumb! Do you even know how success is determined?! A person is elected for President based on their success in private life. In Zambia you`re so backward, your decisions are based on tribe and region. This 21stC, and yet the majority of you Zambians are so backward.

  19. I really feel the cry and agony of most supporters of the NGO upnd! Reading through the comments, one can easily tell that most of these poor souls are still in agony and have not woken up to the reality that we have a president in the name of Great Lungu! Keep on dreaming guys but understand the fact that your hh is a reject! You know how many times he has crash landed and if you think that he can win in 2016, then you better prepare yourselves for the greatest agony of your lives! Minwhile, wait for the next 03 buy elections and see how poorly this NGO will perform.
    Good luck!

  20. The most annoying thing about most upnd disciples is that they think the government can provide everything for them! Why cant you chaps wake up and be useful to yourselves! You are saying that there are no jobs and yet for me, in the past 4 years i have changed jobs for more than 3 times and these are high paying jobs! I have invested both locally and abroad and you chaps are saying there is no money in Zambia! What is your problem kanshi? Wake up bane and dont expect that a politician will bring heaven on earth for you! Wake up you dunderheads!

  21. My contribution to HH’s promises to the youth of this country is pretty straight-foward. Deep in his heart, HH knows that reducing the retirement age from 65 to 55 will NOT translate into jobs for the youths because the two groups have different attributes. Simply put, the unemployed youths will not automatically replace the experienced retirees overnight. that is a pipedream, and HH knows this, except he is playing very cheap politics; he is being a demagogue, sweet tongued serpent similar to the biblical serpent that promised Eve unlimited knowledge if she ate of the fruit. In this regard, he is behaving like the late FTJC who was a master at that. Sadly, HH lacks the charisma of the former. We expect honesty from HH, not polical populism.

  22. Zambia a Christian nation my foot, Just look at the comments on here the personal hurt people have for HH .

Instead of comment on what he has said people are busy attacking the person, as far as i know God loves us all whether christian or not, that is way the bible says he makes the rains to fall on the righteous and the unrighteous and as long as we are still on this earth he will love us all. Its only when we die without accepting him that is when his punishment will be vented on us.
So as long as we are alive he will love us all for the chance to be served is still there.
Let us show our christian values as a nation.

  23. @ Munyele pwete
    You have made my day.
UPND being a NGO. This is what I did not know.
With the Chipenzi, Sara Longwe out there and the born in 1976 Cornelius Mweetwa who does not know that RB was a defuncto President for Namibia during the transition rule from RSA to Blacks majority rule, what do you expect of HH with these calibre of supporters. That is why under 5 definition fits him. Halibelela Halalusa, Hazalunza Hagain, Haganiza Haimba. Harzadous Hippo, Ya mazina apaka that is why Amapitilila Ati Ukuza ukuza Koma Epilitilila. Azapitilila mu 2016

  24. The Bembas and their cousins from Eastern Province have made Zambian people to continue wallowing in poverty. They are not sincere but tribal and will pick anyone as long as they speak similar language. Their counterparts the Bembas will vote on chimbuyaship without analyzing the candidates. From the word go it was clear that Lungu was not fit to be president of Zambia and worse still he told the people he had no vision at all. What did we see, the gullible people from Luapula, Nothern, Eastern and Copperbelt still voted for him. It appears to me that poverty is here to stay in this country. The sooner we open our eyes the better.

HH is the man for this country and the best we can do is to try him period.

    • @ngalande please ati “What did we see, the gullible people from Luapula, Nothern, Eastern and Copperbelt still voted for him.”

You say gullible people and yet you seek their votes. To you HH is a god he can transform this country in record time what a joke bwana .

HH lost in lusaka are you telling me that all the people in the city are bembas.

      Ni 5 zero boi 2016

      ukose

    • Mu 2016 ni KOLOPA.COM mukose ba mambala , HH children are in USA universities ,you think he will educate ours, go to his companies he got during PRIVATISATION , he pays peanuts.

  25. its a pity that so many zambians still want to be cheated by pf cadres about their leaders who have nothing to offer. zambia is not all that hopeless as it has been made by pf , yes if you like we have started campaigns ahead of 2016 but the real thing is we want to make sure that zambians open there eye and judge for themselves instead of being cheated and follow the tribalist government. look at all the appointments every time they are made worse than those of late sata, i believe all is not well. no one should cheat you especially the youth, zambia is very rich it only requires a good manager in the name of hh. dont loose this time . vote wisely vote upnd and hh 2016.

  26. Who told you that Bembas and Easterners have created poverty in Zambia. Do a research you will find that 90% of Tonga women want to marry easterners and bembas. 90% of workers feel safe where the GM and HRM are Easterners or Bembas. Most of the songs that sell in Bemba and Nyanja. Even Tonga musicians prefer to sing in Bemba or Nyanja. Is this not the value associated with these two tribes. This is not fussing but real. Is this the “poverty” you are alluding to
Bwana osavutika na mutima. Just accept that these 2 tribes are atop of things in Zambia. Just try to catch up is my advice to you.

  27. MANO MAMBULWA YOU ARE RIGHT!

HAVING TOO MUCH CONFIDENCE CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS DISAPPOINTMENTS. LETS REMAIN LEVEL HEADED.
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE ZAMBIAN POLITICIANS FAILED US?
    MARK MY WORD.

  28. In Swaziland the retirement age is 60. There are even plans to increase it to 65. In the UK there were discussions to do away with retirement age which was 65. Retirement age in my view is not really the main issue but real job creation. There is no harm in reducing it from 65 to 60.

  29. They will have ears, but they wont hear and understand, they will have eyes, but they wont be able to see for they are blinded and ears plugged because of their violence and because they wont be able to analyse issues to their advantage. As it was in the Days of Noah, they were told Heavy down pour is coming be ready, but for them it was business as usual. HH has told people that there is poverty in the country and jobs are scance, but a few only have listened. The challenge is that wherever HH goes the other politicians are so scared to bone marrow that he will win their unrepentent youths. I refer you to the book of Kings in the Bible, especially those who rulled Israel, until a proper King was found, most Kings only ruled barely 7 days. We are in 50 years of idenpendence, lord WONT ALLO

  30. Yeah, keep on campaigning and demeaning each other online, the majority of don’t even vote for crying out loud!

  31. Do people seriously think reducing retirement age to 55 even 50 is a job creation stretage? The unemployed right now are more than the employed, even if all those working today where retired, the jobs will still not be enough for everyone.I wonder where people get the fact that HH is brilliant, thats not to say PF is better. By retiring people early, you loose alot of expertise that can be transfered to younger ones before they can become profittable employee. Eg a person employed at 35 years of age will need to work for only 15 years if you tag the retirement age at 50. What a worst of human resource HH is suggesting!!!

  32. What HH is trying to do is the Cobra infamous promises. Barotse agreement which was not even discussed.
With retirement age, HH wants to use the same to make young people rise against those in employment.
If the age group between 35 to 55 kick out those above the age range, what will stop the youth between 25 to 35, to kick out the former age range. HH simply does not have any solution but just to get to State house. It is like Mutinta will divorce him if he loses 2016 elections. So the desperation is growing to dangerous levels.
Retirement age is just a fuss being politicized. In-fact what are the statistics of those who should be retired. What numbers are to created for the unemployed if these are retired. HH grow and be sensible iwe under 5 swine.

  33. Zambians we have learnt our mistake come 2016 please shall look beyond tribal and allow this man hh with vast experience in job creation and economic management to help guide this country by the aid of God to greater success.fuel shortags and the free falling kwacha.the country is in a comma.

  34. who stopped HH from becoming President kanshi………..was it the Bembas,Nyanjas or who? Landeni tumfwe.do what u can to make HH President no one has ever stopped you.I know and understand that through the ballot HH will and shall never be President in Zambia reasons: because of the hate that you have for the Bembas and Nyanjas who the majority in Number in all parts of Zambia.Try to be Objective and not being Subjective when it comes to choosing a leader not pa Mutundu namushibata nokushibata awe bane we are one as Zambians.

  35. Cheat your tongas and not us wise men!!!which jobs can you create for us youths when you’re the one who sold Zambian companies which could have been employing us youths!!!learn to keep quiet than provoke us!!!THE FACT IS YOU’LL NEVER GET OUR VOTES BCOZ YOU’RE A SATANIST AND A MAN WHO ONLY BELIEVES IN TRIBALISM!!!WE’LL DEFEAT YOU ONCE MORE IN 2016 OR ANYTIME!!!YOU’LL DIE DREAMING ABOUT THE PRESIDENCY, YOU LIAR HH!!!

  36. @Dyonko,14.2, thumps up!! I like the way you have put it! With facts to drive the point! Your explanation shows how simplistic and destructive his proposal is. I wish our politicians could challenge each other on the basis of real facts the way you have done!

    • @dyonko
u have put statistical argument well but your numbers are not tallying to 100% but 97.4%.
However you have exposed HH incompetence in economics as a subject. He claiming to be an economic manager yet basis of economics is statistics. And the statistics is showing that HH is saying eliminating 2.4% of employed people will create youth employment. HH stop misleading the youth. Statistics are not supporting your lies.
      Under 5

    • @Zambia ni yatu, thank you once again.

@JL, I deliberately left out 2.6% of those being 65 years and over, as they are not in the employment equation at the moment.

  37. PF cadres only know medical tours and medical check ups. Founder of PF party late Michael chilufya ‘Chumbu Mushololo’ Sata ridiculed late Mazoka, late Mwanawasa, late Chiluba when they were all sick at one time. Who ever takes over PF party will be affected by the ridicule spell Sata cast on other and his posterity.
Watch E.C. Lungu the beginning has been witnessed by the nation, next will be medical tours around the world, then huge bills etc, etc.

  38. So HH still dreams of becoming President of Zambia? Come on young man get a life!
You were beaten even by a so called sick man, that should tell HH and his chronic supporters what Zambians think about HH, they prefer Edger to what UPND and the Past news and ZWD would like to call a sickler to HH, and they will repeat the treatment in 2016! Agony is……..

  39. Look at their masonic afros; what can HH learn from our Zambian youths? The man took advantage of certain flaws in FTJ’s privatization policy and enriched himself abnormally. He stole from the same youths he’s pretending to be sympathizing with today.

  40. Zambia has his excellency Edgar Lungu as it wonderful president. Zimbabwe has a dictator. We as Zambians should be joyous and start devising ways of getting wealthy. Zimbabweans are flocking to the diaspora, South Africa and Zambia, while we are busy crying for Edith Nawakwi as being the next best thing.

    Viva Jesus.

  41. Well spoken HH. This is what we need in our Country. People with capacity to engage the voiceless youth on issues that matter the most to them and look at the PROBLEM, the SOLUTION, and the IMPACT. Well done.

Its important to realise that the youth in question are not even in a position to post a blog on LT or any online media because its all beyond their means.

Now, somebody is going to say ‘me also’. Just wait and see.
