Vice President Inonge Wina has called on the people of Chawama Constituency to vote for the Patriotic Front(PF) aspiring candidate Lawrence Sichalwe during the forth coming by elections slated for April 14, 2015.

Ms Wina advised the electorate the area to vote for the PF to ensure continuity of developmental projects currently taking place in the area.

She said that they must vote for PF candidate Sichalwe can take over from where President Edgar Lungu who is the former Area Member of Parliament(MP) left from.

The Vice President said this during a public rally at TAP grounds in freedom compound in Chilanga today to drum up support for the ruling party candidate in the forth coming by elections next month.

Ms Wina urged the people to vote for the PF candidate so that projects are completed in the area adding that the PF government will come up with new programmes that will greatly benefit the people in the constituency.

She said President Lungu was aware of the problems being faced in the area hence if they make a mistake of voting for the opposition they will not see the kind of development currently taking place in the area.

“We will tell the MP that the first 2015 Constituency Development Funds should come to this ward because people here need good services like any other place,” she said.

Ms Wina also called on the womenfolk in the country to make use of her office for them to benefit from the development in the country as they were honoured to have a fellow woman appointed a republican Vice President.

She pointed out that when it comes to allocation of land government will ensure that women own land adding that President Lungu supports empowerment programmes of both the womenfolk and youths in the country.

Ms Wina also assured the people in the area that she will issue their complaints especially over the complaints over former sitting tenants of Tap Zambia to President Lungu .

She assured the electorate in the area that President Lungu was a President for all Zambians saying he appointed her who hails from Western Province as a republican President despite the people from that area not voting for him.

And Mr Sichalwe on his part asked the people not to vote for the opposition but give him a vote so that he can enhance development in the constituency.

  1. Please GIVE UPND a vote. These people will end up comitting suicide if you dont give a them Consolation, From the way they seding posts you can clearly tell they in pain.

VOTE FOR A UPND CANDIDATE I PLEAD

    • President Lungu is president for all Zambians, there is no dispute on that statement. Therefore, regardless of which party takes the Chawama constituency, the President, if it is he who takes development to constituencies, must take development to Chawama. The development carrot being dangled before Chawama residents to be given only when the PF wins should not be the case otherwise it will contradict the bigger picture statement.

  2. POLITICS OF THE BELLY IN ZAMBIA. WAIT A MOMENT, YOU WILL SEE CHAWAMA RESIDENTS STILL VOTING FOR A FAILED PF PARTY AFTER THEY ARE HOODWINKED WITH BRIBES FROM GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. ZAMBIAN POLITICIANS ARE CRIMINALS WHO ALWAYS BREAK THE LAW OF THE LAND, BUT NO ACTION IS TAKEN AGAINST THEM BECAUSE ZAMBIAN LAW IS SEGREGATIVE.

  3. miles sampa , obvious mwaliteta……. just reading these names makes me carelesilly whisper that development is not coming soon to many parts of Zambia….. and the message from the VP….so unspiring

  4. ..There is abject poverty in Chawama. Most youths don’t work. Edgar had abandoned the constituency. The drainages are a disaster.

Really, there is no reason of voting for PF. I have seen a famous quote by bloggers saying “Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting new results.”

If the people of Chawama vote for PF then they are insane!!

There are other party leaders they can vote for…

  5. There is no need to plead for votes from such a place, the people already know that thier leader is sick and require replacement in 2016. No wonder The campaign manager for PF (MILES) is wearing all the smiles for realises that if anything he was the rightful person to lead PF-now being led by another SICK person. I just hope the people of CHWAMA realise that the ball game has changed- SAMPA is the new President of PF. In the first place LUNGU knew why he picked on him. He realised that there was nothing god for him with the onset of the debilitating ailment. MRS Wina should be truthful to her words and move well in her campaigns.

  6. Does INONGE need to worry about people voting for PF when in fact the elections are already rigged. Zambian people are too dull anyway to know who the right person is to vote for. Let them vote for suffering, because that is all they do in life.

So now, clinically dull Zambians as usual will vote for the wrong candidate and then the following day complain about the KWACHA depreciating. Trust me, there is no country on earth with such a dull population as Zambia. Nowadays when a beggar comes to my car window with an open begging hand, I just spit at them and wind-up my car window. I have stopped giving help, I have absolutely no sympathy. Fools don’t deserve help or respect. Good luck with your poverty-stricken homes.
