Zambia set for Guinea-Bissau debut clash in 2017 qualifiers

Share

Zambia now know their opponents on the road to Libreville in the 2017 Africa Cup qualifiers.

Zambia have been placed in Group E where they will face 2015 Africa Cup quarterfinalists Congo-Brazzaville.

Chipolopolo are also set for their debut meeting against Guinea Bissau.

Kenya complete Group E whom Zambia last played in an Africa Cup qualifier 16 years ago for the 2000 tournament that the late Ben Bamfuchile’s side won 1-0 home and away.

That match-up could see a possibly fit-again striker Emmanuel Mayuka face his Southampton club mate Victor Wanyama in the qualifiers.

Match date details to follow…

  1. We have already qualified. This time we shall go very far indeed or even lift our trophy.

Tukamyankula, home and away, Ba Kenya, Ba Kongo Braza, noyu wine umu Portuguese Guinea Bissau tukanaya!!!

  2. This looks like an easy outing for Zambia. We have already qualified-on paper. As for the coach Janza is o.k.Our appeal as soccer fans is that he be assisted by another Zambian coach.Let us lift the Cup this time with our own coaches,it will be sweeter!

  3. Don’t be excited,Congo Brazzaville and Equatorial Guinea are no push overs. While Chipolopolo was struggling to beat Rwanda recently Equatorial Guinea were beating Portugal and.So it won’t be an easy ride for Zambia.
