    • It “collided with an unregistered construction vehicle working on the bottom road”.

Unregistered vehicle on the road? How safe would be the roads then, when even the vehicle working on the road is not registered!?

That rotten & unregistered vehicle shouldn’t have been on the road in the first place. Can the culprits face justice (jail) for causing death & driving unregistered motor vehicle please. This should be an eye opener b’coz it can occur to anyone. Anarchy everywhere with the PF dozing off policia who have failed to combat such lunatics of unregistered road users.

Unconditionally, my condolences & sympathies to the families involved. Its unfortunate. Registration of vehicles is a must!

    • How I wish I had not seen this article because it has left me sad knowing that these people came from Europe just to help us and even going to the bush where our very own doctors can’t set foot on.

  1. Does the Zambia Police have a patent on that logo with the eagle? I’d love to put a patch of that logo on the backside of one of my pairs of shorts.

  2. Very sad indeed. Was the driver a German?? LT can you please clarify.

May their souls rest in peace. They were on their way for a noble cause. God receive their souls.

Very unfortunate for the the people whom they were going to treat.

  3. R.I.P to the deceased. The tipper drivers in this area are so reckless, its unfortunate the dead cant give an account of what really happened but l will bet my last penny the tipper driver is to blame

  4. This is really sad. How tragic for all of them to face death on a selfless mission. May the Lord have mercy on their souls.

  5. this is sad as these guy were medical profession helping zambians and we also lost one of our own……unregistered construction vechile bah!!

  6. this is very very very sad. now you see what corruption has done to Zambia. any worth contractor would never have unregistered truck on the road. jail the contractor and give the contract to credible contractor.

  7. It is very shameful that a lot do not read and understand. The accident was caused by driver of the motor vehicle prado, registration number ABE2493. The driver was on the wrong side of the road.

  8. So traurig, dass sie starb auf dem Weg versuchen zu dienen, die benachteiligten Menschen in Sambia. Kann der Himmel empfangen Sie mit allen seinen Engeln. MYSRIP

  9. the heading says three germs and a muvi journalist. the opening paragraph is only concerned with the three germans. who was driving and what on earth is a bottom road? can we also have their names or at least the name of the zambian journalist?

    • One of the Germans might have been driving I suppose, or the Muvi guy – may be another mistake in the name of cost saving; of using the doctors and journalist to double as drivers, and must have got tired and dosed off!

    • The bottom road is the road that connects siavonga to sinazongwe….when you look at the map of zambia, its at the bottom hence the name.

  10. what info did the journalist obtain from ku munzi? That part of the world is quite neglected and maybe the the journalist was carrying” some truth” and so booooooom… evidence gone. Wishing the remaining families to the deceased the strength to heal and carry on with life.

  11. Couldn’t he have slowed down,….?!

Seemed to me the driver was driving at a high speed, and thought he had space and that’s how he clipped the side of that construction vehicle…..!!

This is how some Doctors and medical personnel died in a Land Cruiser some years ago, when the Driver thought he could squeeze through at a certain speed….. Why are we so obsessed with speed as drivers…..!?!?!?!?!? You only lose seconds and not a life
