FAZ Division One North club FQM Operations FC have fired Israel Mwanza as club head coach.

The former Nchanga Rangers defender leaves FQM placed 12th on the table with eight points from seven games.

Mwanza joined the Solwezi club in 2013.

Club secretary Kenneth Nkhoma says Mwanza has been replaced by Clarence Sichondwe in an interim capacity.

The club’s away loss at Chambishi on Sunday could have sparked the coach’s dismissal.

“We parted company with coach Mwanza yesterday (Monday. We have been with him since 2013,” Nkhoma said.

He added:”the assistant coach Clarence Sichondwe he is the one who takes over in an interim capacity.”

Mwanza has coached “Mighty” Mufulira Wanderers after serving as assistant coach at Nchanga Rangers.

He begun his coaching career as trainer of the Nchanga reserve side.

  1. “The police are supposed to protect people, You don’t expect the police to rápé people in holding cells. No person should experience misfortune while in police custody.”

Only in primitive societies would such be acceptable!

I was also sexually abused by a Zambian police man at Lusaka’s Police Headquaters where even a mattress was kept just for ráping vulnerable women and girls

  2. Too bad for my brother Mwanza. Sometimes may not be the coaches problem. Also issues like:
    (a) Players attitudes
    (b) players motivation
    (c) No good Football adminstration
Such may affect the performance of the team.
Ba Mwanza just be encourage, this is not the end, God will open another door.
