Mumbi Phiri clarifies her Kachema remark, claims she was misquoted

PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri has clarified that she did not refer to Tonga speaking people as Ba Kachema during a radio interview last week.

Speaking on ZNBC TV Sunday Interview, Mrs Phiri said her statement has been misconstrued by some sections of the media.

She said the statement about Ba Kachema was used in reference to her Son who wanted to abandon his vision of becoming a Pilot to becoming a cattle handler.

‘I was on Joy FM during a radio programme when i was asked about my family because some people think I was not married. I have been married 25 years and I shared a story about some differences I had with my husband about the career choice of my fifth born son who initially wanted to be a Pilot but suddenly changed when we travelled to his father’s village in Petauke where he saw a lot of cattle and he wanted to drop his passion for becoming a Pilot to cattle handling and I was against it,’ she explained.

She added, ‘So during the programme I said I don’t want my son to be a Kachema but a pilot and some Journalist especially from the Post, picked what they wanted to pick and made it Headline news which is unfortunate.’

‘It was again unfortunate that during the same radio programme when I was asked about the voter registration, I appealed to all PF members to go out en masse and register as voters. So I said tukaye ichitinta ng’ombe (we should go like a herd of cattle) but again this was misconstrued to mean that I was demeaning the Tongas,’ she said.

Mrs Phiri said she will bring the recording of the programme she had on Joy FM to ZNBC so that it could be re-run on ZNBC radio in order to prove to the rest of the nation that I never insulted the Tongas.

‘I will also take the same CD to the Post Newspaper because I don’t understand why the Post should be fabricating things I never said. You know Fred (Fred Mmembe is my brother), we might have our own misunderstanding but that should not allow his Journalists to be maligning me,’ she charged.

Mrs Phiri continued, ‘You know, I come from Muchinga and we are sometimes referred to by our ancestral things such as Aba kwa Lenshina (The Lenshina people) but that does not mean that I drink urine.’

    • Mumbi Phiri fumbled on ZNBC trying to clarify herself. She had used the term “Kachema” in a derogatory way but it back fired because Zambians know know that cattle is wealth. The first one to use the term is such a way was actually Edgar Lungu at rally in Chawama, he referred to HH as “uyu umulumendo, Kachema wa ng’ombe”. Anyway, the folly and emptiness of Mumbi Phiri was displayed on ZNBC yesterday for to see the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of a top PF official who I must say is representative of them all. Can someone tell us why she was fired from being High Commissioner in Kenya?

    • @pio

A definition of insult is “a disrespectful or scornfully abusive remark or act”. For example describing EL teeth as donkey teeth would be an insult even if they could be some truth in it.

    • Call them sheperds and I can assure you that they will be so happy and the feeling of being insulted will definitely not be there.

Keeping cattle is not an insult but a noble and respected cultural practice. Its also a symbol of wealth

    • But is it not true that aba Tonga ni bakachema ba konka ingombe pa numa. Is it not true that ne fisushi fya ngombe bala fipema?

    • You surprise me you PF people your reasoning is shameful to say the list.

Why would you demean someone just because of their livelihood

      2016 beacons

    • Is she a Christian? Whats wrong with being a Shepherd. Doesn’t the Bible say the Lord is our Shepherd? When the Hebrews came to Egypt Joseph told his family that “when Pharaoh calls you and says, ‘What is your occupation?’ you shall say, ‘Your servants have been keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers,’ that you may live in the land of Goshen.” This woman is very silly!

    • KUSUMINAFYE ABA TONGA MULI BAKACHEMA FINSHI FYASHUPAKO? BA MUMBI MULIFYE BWINO.ONE GOOD THING ABOUT BEING KACHEMA IS THAT EBA MWENE YESU BWANGU WHEN HE WAS BORN IN BETHREHEM.

    • The question to Zambians is who are the TRUE TRIBALSTS.I have been preaching of this for a long time since 2001.Now Zambians you can see them from their vomits. Others call Tongas as INGOMBE ILEDE and the latest is one is Tu bena Janza referring to our National coach. Its very sad indeed to live in Zambia were brains do not matter but your sir name. Which one Zambia are preaching? Lets just go Federal its better.

    • There is a big difference between Kachema and a Cowboy.
Most Tongas are Kachemas, especially Chiefs and male youths, but HH is a Cowboy.

  1. But that fact remains that they are kachemas. HH has been talking about it so what. Its not an insult madam phiri to call a spade by its name.

    • Listen you people live tongas out of this.if you want to attack HH attack him as an individual n political leader.why didn’t the b.itch say kachema but rather said bakachema.kutumpa sana.so even you I think you are s.tupid with your comment.

    • Bushe tatwalelumbula ishina lya ng’ombe ninshi twatuka aba tonga? Are Tongas cattle? Why should one be said insulting just because he/she said cattle farmer? The statement EL made “Uyu mulumendo Kachema wa ng’ombe”. is not an insult. Even hh did not complain because hh is a cattle farmer economist while EL is a Bars owner and lawyer. What is insulting here?
Iwe ka ?Obatala Lungulitis..you are not a proud Tonga if you are a Tonga. Your reaction is stupid. I do come from Luapula province and the Ngonis call me Tubulu…I do not get upset because tubule means someone who lives near the waters and always found maybe fishing. So to me even Lozis are tubulus.

    • having cattle and herding cattle are two different things. now i know why as a country we continue importing beef. the people in government dont know how much the same cattle can change our economy. the way we are referring to cattle herding in derogatory manner speaks volumes about the priority it receives in your planning. for any one who wants to create wealth and good pension for themselves, please invest in livestock – whatever your tribe is

  2. Mumbi phiri just shut up.b.itch plz.if your son wanted to manage cattle n other related things still it wouldn’t make him a kachema.a kachema is a person who herds cattle so that’s a lame stupid excuse.nyoyako yebo.

  3. ….trying to justify the unjustifiable……….politicians never seize to amaze me….and never learn from each other……..who thot Dora would dine and go to bed with PF considering the un kind words she had for the party just a few moons ago…..
…I for one did not listen to the Joy FM radio interview but even though, the above explanation is not making any sense at all…

  4. Zambia is poor with all endowments because of S1lly people like Mumbi Phiri . Cattle keeping is wealth, ask USA, Denmark, Sweden, South Africa. I know Mumbi Phiri copied from her president who said the same s1lly remarks when campaigning in Chawama. Zambians, what do you expect from such people as leaders apart from looting like now? Why keep such leaders in power beyond 2016?

    2016 Vote PF OUT

    I thank you

    • KK understood the worth of cattle rearing and he wanted to spread it across the country, I just fantasize that had it worked would we not have been competing with Botswana exporting beef? Anyway there are some of us who know what happened to the animals KK had distributed to some areas!

Every well meaning word and/or statement holds its value in intonation and where it is placed in the whole statement. The harm is done and any attempts to try to make reparations pleading victim will only worsen the situation. A simple “sorry” would have sufficed than trying to weave a web of explanation. Love you all who are trying to explain what was said in a non-universal national language in the right perspective.

  5. zambian politics is tooooooo personalised and lacks developmental substances in what is said by most politicians and commentators. uyu ni ng’ombe, uyu ni cabbage, uyu adwala, uyu ni trablis, elo uja ni chakolwa blablabablaaaaaa. with due respect, what can you get out of Patrick Mwanawasa as DS? I feel Mumbi Phiri waitaya, you r statement doesn’t march with your had said before about kachemas though you might have later realised that there is ndalama in cow dung and chicken manure.

  6. ?Scrutinizerer
Because you are nonsense that’s why sense can not come to you. Dora made mistakes, and she may make other mistakes in future, but it does not mean that we should crucify her career just because she made a mistake. hh makes mistakes today, and tomorrow he stops making the mistakes, does not mean that people can not vote him President. When you repent you start anew. It is nonsense to hate Dora, hh, Kambwili or anybody else for their mistakes that they have repented of. Your scrutiny is questionable….Check yourself.

    • ..@black woman..
..to start with your English is pathetic….I nearly though of ignoring you because people ‘may not notice the difference’ if i start arguing with you..but for the sake of clarity to imbeciles like you, I decided to take you on..
..look my friend, all I’m saying is that politicians must be careful of what they say about the other party or fellow politicians..look at what Masebo said about Sata when she was MMD, look at what Kambwili exchanged on live radio with Father Bwalya, look at what Dora said about Sata and the PF, look at what Mwamba said about Sata and the PF when he was with FTJ.. Kambwili on Lungu when they were competing for PF presidency..I know there is no permanent enemies in politics but mind what u say to others because tomorrow u may need them

    • @blackwomanwithpinkmalebe

Integrity and honesty is vital in leadership. Instead you encourage posturing and inconsistencies.. We don’t want flip floppers in public life.

  7. very good remarks that if not well handled may ruine someone’s future. I cherish the Tongas but I am not a Tonga. I have lived among them and found them to be very humane people. I cherish the Bembas too, because I have lived among them, but it just makes me wonder why there should be such animost between the two. The fear of rearing cattle is a rout for poverty. I have seen government has opened ranches in the North, but already we are seeing dwindling numbers of cattle. Let us try to embrace one another. In diversity we can be a very prosperous nation with very powerful culture. i refer you to Botswana where rearing of cattle is a hobby, these people are rich alright. I sypathise with Mumbi the way she has come too strongly on the scene, already she appears to belong to the SATA error.

  8. This hull mumbi phiri should never came to tonga land.mumbi phiri should know that God give as cattle because he loves us ,mumbi phiri can not even keep a chicken in her bemba land.

    • Please understand my friend Mumbi Phiri. She has been jobless for a long time and now she is trying to impress her boss by being the first to reiterate his Kachemology theory. Besides, we already know how intellectually disabled she is.

    • Do not bet on it for Edgar Lungu is not yet done with appointments and Mumbi Phiri could end up as Permanent Secretary for Southern Province. It seems the province under Lungu has to be supervised only by appointees not related to the Bantu Botatwe grouping.

  9. When they call us monkey eaters which just laugh it off. Why should you be upset when people refer to what you do best? Inferiority complex I assume? As for the Post I can only say the paper has gone to the sewer gutters

    • There’s money to be made in farming and people who sneer at farmers are either mad or survive by stealing. How does one make money from munching monkeys? It just shows lack of backbone to do real work and instead survive by trading or living off nature.

    • @7.1 Buck Teeth Lungu: As usual you have deliberately overlooked my point. Did I say there is money in monkeys? If I am a mine police officer I am called a Kanyangu, I should not be upset. Your mind is set against Bemba people so anything we do is negative to you. You see the more upset you are the more the nick name will stick.

    • Poor reasoning. They call you monkey eaters not on the political platform. Have you ever heard HH referring to Lungu at a political rally as a rat eater or to Sata as a monkey eater? Never! You Bembas want to demean the cattle keeping people of Southern, Western, Eastern provinces and decampaign them on the basis of their source of wealth. Is there wealth in the red a.nus of a monkey that you Bembas are so proud of looking at?

  10. If she is speaking the truth then she was really misquoted. Journalists should never twist the truth to suit their motives. I know Mumbi is not a pleasant person but don’t put words into her mouth

  11. She should reduce her charges to K2.00 PER WEEK.so that more people in Munali can have free sex, the biatch.

  12. I would not like to be personal but I think Mumbi Phiri has lost it. Certain terms though correct but if used in a wrong or derogatory manner become offensive. Surely if her son wanted to be a cattle handler I don’t think that qualifies him to be a “Kachema”. Are we going to call Zambeef Company ba ‘Kachema” simply because they deal in cattle and beef products? For sure we know that this term “Kachema” has rudely been used to demean our Tonga brethren. I have never seen such kind of hate such that you even go to the extent of hating milk or mabisi because these are associated with the Southerners and Westerners, God forbid! Mind you we are all made in the image of God and we are all precious in His sight.

    • Young man haven’t you heard of a company called ‘Kachema’? It trades in cattle and beef products and runs several butcheries in this country. Similarly, Zambeef qualifies to be called ba Kachema because of their core business.

  13. Sad that a mother would no want a son to become a farmer in preference for the ‘yesteryears’ preferred ‘what do you want to become when you grow up” job of a pilot!

  14. Our politicians really need strong PR outfits around them. It is not long ago that Kaingu put his foot into his mouth (quite usual for him though), and now this one is struggling to extricate herself out of a potentially embarrassing web she has spun for herself. You do not go around making statements that border on put-downs, whether you put up your own family or not. This should be clear. Loose mouths really do sink ships.

  15. Its like saying

    – Bakolwe…..Bakabolala
    – Ba Koswe ….. Beleteka
    – Bakachema …Tabakateke

When one talks in these lines..Just know they are tribalist..Mumbi,Kambwili and Chama you HATE tongas to the bone..but they shouldnt worry much because God loves them after all..

  16. Further, if Mumbi Phiri was a national leader which I thought she was, she was supposed to appeal to all Zambians to registers enmasse, not just to a certain section of society. By the way, isn’t it the same Mumbi Phiri who had an altercation with Jean Kapata and ended up fighting at parliament building some years back? Surely this speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. For as long as we continue to malign others, lets forget about building a united Zambia. No tribe is superior to the other! I wonder what have become of Zambia if our Bemba brothers and sisters were the owners of Copperbelt and Lusaka, no was going to talk. The Afrikaans never thought a black man could rule South Africa but it happened, in the USA, no white ever imagined that a black would rule but it happened.

    • @collins mundundu, you r right. If the mines were in northern or muchinga prov, these bembas wud not have regarded anyone from western, northwestern or southern as pipo. That’s why self determination or federalism is the way to go.

  17. @gregoli. Surely there is folly in saying HH is bakachema period. If being a bakachema can put a meal on your table, live in a decent house, make millions of kwacha as Guy Scott said when he was in Namwala, then I would rather be one. It is economics at play my brother which is important. A kachema also has a kind heart as he loves his animals and consequently human beings. Jesus says He is the Good Shepherd. Value the kachemas!

    • A kachema, caring and kindness lessons, must remind every village raised male child that herded cattle. Elders way of teaching caring, responsibility and accountability first with animals and later in life apply experience to care for those under your charge! Sure enough, looking back, a normal day would start with counting the animals before letting them out of the coral by sex, adults and calves groupings. Grazing grounds were chosen through prior reconnaissance missions, times for watering were on schedule. The day after a verification audit exercise had been confirmed and tallied before securing the coral! Fights strengthened fending for oneself. Calves born while in the field would be carried on our backs! I am full of nostalgia for the everlasting life lessons acquired as a kachema!

  18. Even her face tells that she is damn lying. Why has it taken her nearly a week to deny her insults on the Tonga. If people had not reacted she would never have said what she is now lying about.
Of what relevance is the Lenshina and urine to this?
Tongas and Lozis feed Zambia with their livestock. What do Zambians get from Muchinga, ZERO!

    • That her people and herself drink urine as a result they are not sensible just like their god Lenshina. Mumbi Phiri and PF in general are not only tribalistic but xenophobic as far as Tongas are concerned. The few Tonga “House niggers” still in PF are just wasting their time.

  19. Dear Mumbi Phiri,
Please do not use your language to annihilate and demean people who subsist on farming and to be particular Livestock farming. As a Bemba you should appreciate that the majority Tongas are farmers by profession who put food on your table. You are the people who make Tongas resent your tribe because you think because they are farmers they should not rule. Know from today that farming is a noble profession to economic growth acknowledged by event your PF government. I know you want your son to be a pilot because you were an air hostess in Zambia Airways and so you think that is the best but where are you and Zambia Airways now? Appreciate the contribution other tribes are making to this country and avoid language that is divisive.

    • @justo, well said. Some pipo are just clever for nothing. If that farmer did not supply that beef, would there be inama to feed their hookworms? Learn something from Guy Scott.

  20. The level of stupid in this Mumbi is amazing! Even the explanation is more bizarre! Just shut up empty tin!

  21. ARE ZAMBIANS STILL ON THIS, “BAKACHEMA”? I WOULD BE VERY PROUD TO BE CALLED KACHEMA BECAUSE THAT MEANS I AM IN BUSINESS. ZAMBIANS SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHAT THEY DO FOR THEIR LIVING. IT’S NOT ONLY TONGAS WHO REAR CATTLE. EVEN BEMBAS AND OTHER TRIBES DO AND CATTLE-REARING IS EVEN ON THE INCREASE IN OTHER PARTS OF ZAMBIA. WHY REARING CATTLE WAS DECIMATED ESPECIALLY IN THE NORTHERN PART OF ZAMBIA WAS KK’s GRZ’s DELIBERATE POLICY TO RESTRICT CATTLE REARING WITH THE TONGAS DUE TO TSETSE FLY IN THE NORTHERN PARTS OF ZAMBIA. BUT, THAT WAS STUPID. THERE’S MORE PASTURE THERE DUE TO FERTILE LAND AND COPIOUS RAINFALL AND TSETSE FLIES CAN BE EASILY CONTROLLED WITH A STRONG POLITICAL WILL OF ANY GOVERNMENT. BY THE WAY, CATTLE HAS EVER BEEN THERE IN THE NORTH.

  22. This is the exact behavior of prostitutes. Never consistent and never reliable except when they are delivering!

  23. I have no problem with those vilifying Mumbi Phiri for her silly remark. What I have a problem with is those that are turning this into a Bemba issue. When Edgar made the same silly remark, I did not hear anyone vilify the entire Nsenga tribe or Easterners. It is not helpful bane.

  24. Do these people watch the campaigns that took place in the UK? there were no insults. Tell us what and how you will reduce poverty, unemployment, improve good governance, child mortality and general welfare of people. Ba Lungu please!

  25. But there is nothing wrong in saying ba kachema = cattle farmers. Is this an insult? People just like yapping always and making mountains from an ant-hill. Shame on you all.

    • Sorry my friend, there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between being a Cattle Farmer (owner of the animals) and a kachema (herdsman). Cattle farmers/owners hire herdsmen (you so called Kachemas) to look after their animals and get paid for this service of looking after the animals. But it is the manner in which it’s being said that is offensive and getting onto the nerves of others. By the way what would be the reaction if some people were to be called ÏMBUSHI” simply because they keep and look after goats or ba makaka because of the monkeys they eat? Anyway there is nothing we can do about this madness, kutamba fye.

  26. bushe mwe ba tonga nimwe mweka mwaba neng’ombe mwa? bonse tulateka ing’ombe. aba lozi balateka. imwe lyonse ngamwaumfwa ati kacema ninshi namatwi yapekuka. iyo bane that is why ba post balecitila twist amalyashi yonse umuli kacema pantu nabeshiba ati mwalafulwa. they will then exploit your anger against pf for rainbow’s advantage. post newspaper will never promote upnd. never

  27. This is the mentality that makes them boot lick for political appointments because they cannot do anything in life! Rearing cattle is a noble profession. And we expect the country to develop under such shallow minded leaders!

  28. Wait wait, so she’s saying she went on radio to discuss her family? What has that got to do with issues affecting this country? Yaba, its better to be a refugee than live in a country of such low caliber leaders bent on dividing citizens!

  29. Many bloggers here are justifying the fact hat cattle rearing is a noble venture and embraced and cherished by the western.why then are you bitter.if anything you should be proud and not complain.if someone told me that am a rich man or professor ill be happy.inferiority complex or childish politiking is the reason for your bitterness

  30. Iam inclined to believe her. I know The Post. Its a paper that looks for controversy as long as Fred Mmembe is not involved.

  31. JUSTO IN,GOMBE ILEDE.TWALISHIBA ATI BAKACHEMA BALATUKANA SAANA .IWE NIWE KACHEMA JUSTO ULEFWAYA NANGU TAULEFWAYA.

  32. Leave the poor Mankies who live by clinging to politics FOR SURVIVAL and hate people they know to have calibre. Shame on your daughter of a thieve Mumbi.

practice politics of unit as your bosses ECL and LUPIYA have been preaching not hate statement.

no wander that police officer called you very stupid in front of the TV cameras. you have a habit of talking rubbish.
I can blame, I blame a person who thinks you have all the 5 senses to be given a political position in GOVT.
for your sake,If a tribe has no tradition to boast off, leave those people who cherish wealth generated out of hard work. You cherish your “NTOLELEFYE TRADITION” we know that’s what has kept you arrive.

    • Rabbish rants full of inferiority complex. Always trying to find something to create hate against the Bemba speaking people. You insult bembas day and night as thieves but when the same insults are thrown at you then that becomes an issue, what inferior people you are. Please come out of that inferiority complex and be proud of who you are. If you are cattle farmers be proud of that. what is your problem kansi?

    • @43 baami. You don’t know what you are talking about. Is it not ECL who called HH a Kachema in the first place? Why is Mumbi’s kachema more offensive than Lungus? You say Mumbi is a daughter of a thief. Tell us what her father stole. If you call other’s names you should be prepared to be insulted back.

  33. HH is bakachema whether some people like it or not. And most Tongas keep cattle and we are proud to be called bakachema. To me bakachema is not an insult, Mumbai Phiri was just acknowledging that we are cattle headers. In short all of us Tongas are bakachemas period.

  34. Why should i feel guilt about what gives ulubono when you hear that word,’kachema’.lcitinta ng’mbo simply means you go in numbers and with full strength.By the way is it only Tongas who rear cattle?let us be with one another please.

  35. It is too late for damage control. We know the context and what she said. YOU MEANT TO DEMEAN. Anyway the Lord is my Sheppard, I shall not want anything from mumbi phiti and her pf.

  36. As John Fowles once stated, there are only two races on this planet-the intelligent and the stupid. Mumba Phiri is an unmistakable representative of the later group, such a dense and real dumb-ass! One also wonders about these Neanderthal Nkandu Luonic apes of kwaNabwalya, why are they so aesthetically repulsive?

    • @44 Duke Malenga, if you were intelligent I would not expect you to be drawn into the silly name calling. Unfortunately you are just as repulsive. Zambian who mix freely will tell you that all this name calling is just daft. There are good and bad people in every tribe.

    • I we a Bemba has nerver ruled this country. Kaunda was not a bemba, but a Bisa, Chiluba was a tubulu, Mwanawasa was a lenje, Benda is a ngoni Sata was a bisa and Lungu is a Senga.

    • 46.1 smart man. That is interesting. If that is the case then why all the obsession with Bembas? Why do you label anybody called Chanda, Chilufya, Mwamba etc as Bemba? Very silly indeed.

  37. Iam kachema and I have a lot of cattle so what? Its not an insult, I am proud to be one, Only Tongas will take it to be an insult. This is because of the inferiority complex issue.

  38. What’s wrong with a person being called bakachema? This simply means that you are a person who takes care of cattle. Its only evil minded people will see insult in this.

  39. @44 Duke Malenga, if you were intelligent I would not expect you to be drawn into the silly name calling. Unfortunately you are just as repulsive. Zambians who mix freely will tell you that all this name calling is just daft. There are good and bad people in every tribe.

  40. Pilot vs kashema wa ngombe. Oaah what a contrast. She intends to buy some aircraft? I would have advised her to own cattle. One of the renown richest person in the country is a cattle owner. I like her choice of running aviation industry. Do you know that a pilot is a driver in the air?? who does not own an aircraft??

    Just piece of mind

  41. Anyway I still remain a proud Tonga. Come see me and you can tell by looking at me that I am a proud Tonga. Even to start discussing such rubbish is waste of time.

  42. Bemba speaking people are often called thieves, monkeys, kaponyas, etc.. We just get on with it. However when our Tonga brothers are called ba kachema they get worked up. As they say, do not throw stones in you live in a glass house. By the way, Lungu called HH a kachema and that was made a big issue. Why? Of course I know the answer.

    • It is usually the context something is said rather than the words on their own. “Your Mother” can be offensive when crafted in a certain fashion. The people complaining heard the way this woman fashioned her words – and who are we to say we know better how others should hear things?

  43. ZAMBIA NEEDS A GOOD KACHEMA, NOT A DRUKEN MASTER, TO MOVE THE COUNTRY FROM POVERTY TO PROSPERITY.
REMEMBER MOSES WAS A KACHEMA AND HE LED HIS PEOPLE FROM SLAVERY TO LIBERTY; DAVID WAS A KACHEMA AND HE LIBERATED HIS PEOPLE; JOSEPH WAS A KACHEMA AND SAVED NATIONS FROM FAMINE; JACOB WAS AN ANIMAL KEEPER SO WERE ABRAHAM AND JOB. JESUS CHRIST CALLED HIMSELF A SHERPHERD AND NOT A DRUKEN MASTER.
WE WOULD THEREFORE BE BETTER OFF WITH A KACHEMA THAN WITH A DRUKEN MASTER.

  44. The things that Zambians spend their precious time quarreling, debating, insulting, naming and renaming each other, arguing, you name it are quite amazing! I really have no comment to make as I am thoroughly amused and flabbergasted at the anger created by calling anyone as kachema. The debate will degenerate into anger when someone will be called a waiter, driver, bakemba for choir, or even garden boy. And yet in many books the people of southern province are described as cattle rearers which is the same as kachema and I have never heard a tonga cry foul, now this!

  45. Abena Chinsali or Lenshina`s followers never did they drink urine plse this was all propaganda that was initiated by KK and the catholic mission who lost there church members who defected to Lenshina. Go and buy a copy of Lenshina`s autobiography printed by ZEPH publishers.
