FORMER Patriotic Front (PF) media director Brian Hapunda has blamed his adversaries within the PF of having his employment terminated.
Hapunda said he is not bitter with the party’s decision to fire him as its media director.
“I am not bitter, it’s the work of my enemies within the party,” he told a friend.
PF secretary general Davies Chama informed Hapunda that his employment was terminated with immediate effect as media director and that he should surrender all party records and property in his possession.
“I wish to thank you sincerely for the services you rendered to the party as an employee and wishing you well in your future endeavours,” read the letter dated 1 June 2015.
The development comes barely 24 hours after the Post newspaper published a leaked letter to President Edgar Lungu where Hapunda was explaining where he took campaign funds he got from Lusaka businessman Rajan Mahtan.
Hapunda told the president that he handed all the money he received from Mahtani to him and the first lady Esther Lungu and that he never pocketed any funds as alleged by some party members.
He further complained that State House aides were refusing him entry into the premises to seek audience with the president so as to explain what he was doing and what needed to be done in the party.
Brian, you had it coming. You thought your job description was to insult HH. Alas,even PF cadres now want to debate issues like why is fuel so expensive. The next one to go will be Sunday Chanda. Appenda Hapuna.

Brian Hapunda has been fired for being suspected of gong out with the wife of Sunday Chanda whom people suspects has fathered her one child.
Hapunda is doomed, nothing goes his way, he was expelled from UNZA, he fired himself from UPND, fired by Sata and now fired by Lungu.
There must be something very wrong with this chap.

Hapunda is a wrong man all together, there is no way two leaders from the same party can be dismissing you simultaniously. He needs to examine himself how he conducts himself with the other people. I feel he has a problame coming from his background i.e. his family. These are the fellows who were raised on a silver platter and have no manners whatsoever. Mind you the fellow came from UPND, and there he was fired equally and not anything else.

Hapunda knows that data leaks at plot 1. in the first place, he knew that he has had issues with regards to party funds in the past. so it was/is easy for pipo not to believe him on any thing on issues like that. secondly with all this knowledge, Haps decides to give all the details in the letter. certainly, it was going to leak, and the consequences detrimental. sometimes ask wise pipo before you act. Haps you are denting your name and you may find it hard to aspire for high or public office in the future with that tag.whether you handed over the cash or not, it will be diificult to convince anyone you re right. all the best anyway, hoping to see your next step.

According to the emerging information on our table, President Lungu has fired Brian Hapunda because he has been directed by Rupiah Banda not to entertain any Tongas to the party’s senior position because according to RB,Tongas are like Jews who are united and would not like to let their brothers and sisters suffer as such, they can be leaking vital information to the UPND.
I challenge Edgar Lungu and Davies Chama to denie that Brian Hapunda has been fired because reporters within the PF accused him of being pro UPND.

This is why we always urge people to practice politics based on policies and not smearing others with mad just to get accepted in the other camp.
