The Bemba Royal Establishment has reiterated its warning to political parties against politicizing the coronation of Paramount Chief Chitimukulu the 38th and the Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena Bemba Traditional ceremony slated for this weekend in Mungwi District.

Bashilubemba’s spokesperson Washanga Impika Sha Lubemba – James Mulenga warned that the two ceremonies are purely traditional and not political.

Mr. Mulenga stated that traditional affairs have always been none partisan and should remain so.

He has since warned those who will attend the two events not to wear any party regalia or display banners saying no form of campaign will be tolerated at the ceremonies.

Mr. Mulenga added that the Bashilubemba would like the two traditional functions to be held in a peaceful manner without any disturbances.

He warned that the traditional council had requested police to ensure that they deal firmly with the would-be trouble makers.

This is contained in a statement made available ZANIS today and signed by Mr. Mulenga.

The installation of paramount chief Chitimukulu will take place this Friday 31st July, 2015 while the Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena Bemba Traditional ceremony will follow on Saturday 1stAugust, 2015.

    • Edgar Lungu will send envoys to bribe the Chitimukulu.
His agenda is create tension between Tongas and Bembas.
      But he

    • Your Royal Highness, you are a very gracious. You will be welcoming people that sent police to prevent you from ascending to your throne. You exhibit true leadership. I am very proud to have you as my Chief.

    • The Queen here reins and is the Queen of all kings and Queens.

Chitimukulu is not king I would recognize.

Long live Queen Elizabeth, her majesty.

      Thanks
      BB2014

    • The party regalia is only thing you can’t avoid. Even Sata’s T-shirts??? Citizens have been dressed up by political parties through out unnecessary bye-elections. Let people wear what they have. Then Salaula naena yali dula.

    • But how can the Senior advisor to the Chief wear gumboots?.

Nensapato bafewele Ba Chief. Awe, I am demotivated.

    • I thought ingwena lives in water and there’s no water in rivers. Ba Chiti, what will happen. Will the ceremony be load shedded?

  1. Especially Edgar Lungu; intelligence reports are indicating that the PF has planned to spend K10 Billion Kwacha in corrupting the electorates in Kasama.
Edgar lungu is planning to use the young brother to GBM to denounce GBM in Kasama. According to the obtained information, each electorate will be given K1000 as bribe inorder to vote for PF and Emmanuel Mwamba.

GBM is expected to win by less than 1000 votes.

  2. AM HAPPY WITH UR OBSERVATION LET IT BE LAW IN ZAMBIA NOT TO PUT ON POLITICAL CHITENGE MATERIAL DURING TRADITION CEREMONY

  3. Well GBM is already in Kasama, HH is already in Kasama, Hired UPND cadres are already in Kasama. PF cadres are now mobilizing ..this will be a show down, no doubt. I hope GBM behaves and HH does not get sucked into GBM’s low level of thinking. Remember GBM almost misled Mulenga Sata at the airport when his body arrived by sponsoring youths with T-Shirt saying Mulenga Sata is next president ..almost caused confusion. GBM’s thinking is grade 3. Watch him carefully

  4. I’m a Bemba I want to warn the people from the East especially Mpezeni and his imp.Chewas are good people.Respect to paramount chief Gawa Undi.Don’t disturb our ceremony you Ngonis.Mapolo yanu angoni

  5. I am sure GBM will try to politicise this especially with the forth coming by-election. He will want everyone to know that he is related to Chitimukulu Kanyanta Manga. He also thinks he is God’s gift to Bembas and therefore cannot lose in Kasama.

  6. Be warned that it is the intention to curtail debate on an issue by anyone whenever that person says “do not politicise this or that …”

  7. I thought the spokes person has asked the police to deal firmly with any one who wants to cause trouble. There you are HH and GBM, the police controlled by the government have been asked to deal with you firmly should you wish to cause trouble.

  8. GBM does not feed all of us in Kasama and our vote is secret. He has exercised his democratic right and us who vote will do the needful.

  9. AbaBemba Mwatusebanya.

Ensapato mwakwata for a special occasion? Amagumboots for a special occasion.

And that is the Senior advisor to Mwinelubemba.

  10. EDGAR will relish a fight with ‘the rich’ with his hand on the ZAMBIAN national coffers which GS denied him during the presidential bys. Here comes a fight never seen before on Planet earth. Mwenfumu make a provision for a room to store the brown envelopes and stop pretending. During the time no load shedding in Kasama among other incentives. Maureen Mwanawasa is ZAMBIA a failed state?

  11. @kalulu don’t worry we are coming because we want to be sure this Chitimukulu is a Real Ngwenya not icibokolo from chief Nkole of Munkonge. Be warned produce a real live croc oro else, mukanya elofuti to kacinda sana naba kashibenu
Fumako tibwera ife amuna ngaongao o vara zikumba zankhalamo
    Bemba girls prepare

  12. Chiefs like Politicians are siamese twins…ubufi sana… ati don’t politicise kwisa? Meanwhile imikolomino namunona ati twalya again!..some more brown envelopes!

  13. Ba Tutu/Zedman,
Bashi Kangwa is wearing gumboots because he was in the field harvesting his mataba when he heard that Bana Dalitso had arrived, so he hurriedly rushed to the palace.
When President Mwanawasa brought RB from his farm in Chipata to become vice president, the gentleman came bare footed!

  14. TO BE TRADITIONAL AND REFLECT CULTURE IS IMPORTANT RATHER THAN LOSSING TOUCH WITH GRASS ROOTS

IMAGINE THE CURRENT TRENDS OF BMWS BENZ AND EXAGERATED LIMOZINS AT CELEMONIO TRADITIONAL EVENTS SIMPLY MAKES OUR CHIEFS APPEAR EXAGERATED AND DONOT TOUCH WITH SUBJECTS

I LIKE THE GUM BOOTS THOUGH AND CLEARLY SHOWS THE CULTURE PRESERVED IN THAT WISE MAN AND OCCASSINALLY HE WEARS GOOD TIDDINGS IN SUITS AND SHOES

SOME CHIEFS IN LIMO AND HUMMERS ARE NOT BEING WISE WHEN MOST OF PEOPLE ARE IN POVERTY

  15. Yaa he has lost touch with people and his subjects including his visiting

He should avoid using the Limo at the Palace and only use it occasionally when its right for the event

You should go back to the traditional bediango and see the value that it gives him like the mwata or the mpezeni though he should also avoid use of Toyotas and use traditional authoritative vehicles to ensure the long lasting empire

Occasionally yes and may be as a collection in the palace without losing touch

  16. The Bembas should try and feed the chief and someone should be put in-charge of the dressing in the palace.
How can Sampa be donating a Benz car yet the Induna has no shoes and uses gum boots as if they have already gone to feed those crocodiles at Mwalule?

  17. Spare our First Lady the indignity of kneeling on a cement floor while a funny looking man in gumboots and strange hat sits on a rickety chair (looks like he’s raising his ‘cheeks’ off the chair to break wind).

    By Paliamentary Act, please!
