Share

Zesco United face Power Dynamos in a crucial top 3 showdown at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Wednesday.

Defending champions and league leaders Zesco are targeting their second successive league win over Power after beating them 2-0 away in the first leg in July.

Zesco and 3rd placed Power have 60 and 51 points heading into Wednesday game that could see the visiting sides interest in the league title race end with an away loss in Ndola.

A win for Zesco on Wednesday will see them need just one more victory in their next match to lift the title with two games in hand.

Meanwhile, 2nd placed Zanaco stay in Lusaka but make the short trip to Sikanze Camp to play Nkwazi.

Zanaco, on 53 points, will be hoping Power can do them a favour with a draw or a win to help cut the gap with Zesco from seven points with three games left after the mid-week fixtures.

In the rest of Wednesdays games, bottom placed National Assembly host Forest Rangers at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka while Green Buffaloes visit Red Arrows on the other side of town at Nkoloma Stadium.

At Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades host Lusaka Dynamos and just next door in Chingola, Nchanga Rangers await Green Eagles.

Nkana play Napsa Stars in Kitwe on Thursday while Mufulira Wanderers will host Nakambala Leopards on Friday at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira.
