PF Youths in Lusaka have written to Lusaka Province Police Commissioner Charity Katanga to open investigations into allegations by UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema that President Edgar Lungu has hired witch doctors from Malawi to help him win next year’s elections.

In a letter addressed to Mrs Katanga, Party Lusaka Province Youth Vice Chairperson Daniel Kalembe said there is need for Police to investigate the claim because it has the ability to cause anarchy in the country.

Mr. Kalembe has challenged Mr. Hichilema to give full details of the claimed witchdoctors who President Lungu has invited, failure to which they will take legal action against him.

‘Certain statements can bring anarchy in the country like the statement HH issued in Kabwe, that is a blue lie. We have received a lot of queries about what is going on in the country,’ Mr Kalembe said.

‘We therefore challenge him to reveal where those Whichdoctors are stationed

  1. What is this Congolese, Kalembe, going on about? PF themselves have caused anarchy in the economy. PF should just resign and call for fresh elections immediately. I just wish there was a recall provision in the new constitution so that we do not have to wait 5 years to kick out an incompetent govt.

    • How many people in Zambia go to consult Witchdoctors and how many come back and broadcast that they have been to see one? Anyway, there is a new phenomena , “Jemasonomics”. Simply put, when you fail to run the economy drink more Jemasoni, organise fake prayers and consult witch doctors.

    • Elections will be held next year when there will be no load shedding, kwacha will be stable, and not now

    • It is well known fact. Malawi witchdoctors are far stronger than TONGA witch doctors. Tonga witch doctors apply too much cow dung in their medicines. For this reasons HH is worried that he will lose the next years elections unless he re inforces his team of this TONGA witches.

    • @Engineer, honestly I don’t mind find witchcraft can turn around the economy. If Edgar thinks that is his last resort is to consult witch doctors, then let him do so.
You recall Fr. Bwalya slaughtering a chicken at a rally in Luanshya, and it helped PF to win.

    • Probe allegations for what?
Sometimes we give too much credibility to witchcraft. Is this not the nation that was petitioning GOD yesterday? People are so gullible that during the day they seek solace in church for the many problems and rush to witch doctors at night for solutions to wealth creation. These are the same people who will stone an innocent old man on suspicion of being a wizard or condemn a genuinely rich person as satanist. We need to move on from the shackles of our past!

    • WHY ARE YOU TONGAs SO DEEP ROOTED IN WITCHCRAFT IN EVERYTHING YOU DO. YOU EVEN DO JUJU ON YOUR CATTLE THAT SOMEONE CANT EVEN EAT AFTER BUYING FROM YOU. YOU CAN RECALL YOUR CATTLE FROM LUSAKA BACK TO CHOMA OR KALOMO.
      YOU HAVE DIRTY MINDS BAANE!

  2. HH is a worried man . I sympathise with him. It is well known that Malawian Witchdoctors are more powerful than the Tonga Ngangas. His fear is that these Malawans will overcome the vernom of the Tonga witchdoctors he uses. Not even the Freemason Satanists can can stand up to the Malawi witchdoctors!!! . Going by this new development EDGAR will definitely win the elections unless HH find other witches TO RE INFORCE his Tonga witches. Hi has been courting the Lundas if late.

  3. Oh, just calm down now. Politicians are in the habit of talking without putting a thought to what they say. HH was just politicking and getting the police to waste time in investigating this is an absolute abuse of the system. Police must spend their time on more important things than cheap political statements.

  4. Sata is the architect of such kind of politics. When he was torturing Levy and Bwezani you people were giving him praises for his lies and half truths. This is something that has been allowed to go on for years and it will take time to deal with.
I just hope HH can try to be original. He is not Sata

  5. Yes Kalembe should just go back to Katanga province. Its PF which has caused anarchy in the country. Look at UNZA, CBU and Barotseland to name but few. Did you see the snake man? He never looked like a witchdoctor. let your police investigate if there are 3 people from Malawi at state house. even then they’ll come at night and so security men will see them. Question is why has Lung gone to Kitwe?

  6. Well done HH; Hammer the bustards until they run out of steam. After all, they are they personification of the Devil; beginning with their late great leader Satan

  7. Comment: Sata is the one who introduced this kind of politics now that he is gone,u pipo who where ullulating over his insults are tasting your own medicine.Life is like a circle it goes round and round again.

  8. SNAKEMAN (A.K.A. Simba-Zako) is one of the Witch Doctors. We only need to find the other 2 if they’re still in the country.

Easterners believe in bathing in Juju. I remember my neighbour at UNZA used to wake up at mid-nite to bath in stinking roots.

  9. We saw the same tricks under Chiluba MHSR where even a religious desk was opened and managed by Josiah Chisala at state house. What happened in the end? We saw these guys in spite of declaring Zambia a Christian Nation had been siphoning funds from state coffers through Zamtrop. They knew that if you talk about God Zambians are docile and will not question anything.
This is the more reason some of us are very cautious with such people when they start making declarations especially persons of Frank Bwaya’s calibre. They want to make anyone who questions their moves non-religious and a sinner. With or without declaration we will all face judgement on that day full stop. The most important thing is my relationship with God not those declarations.
