The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) party in Lusaka has challenged its outspoken Rachel Chileshe to stop insulting Republican President Edgar Lungu or face the wrath of the law.
The PF founding members Charity Banda and counterpart Francis Mukuka said it is totally unacceptable for Ms Chileshe to continue castigating President Lungu for no apparent reasons.
Ms. Banda, in a walk in interview with ZANIS in Lusaka yesterday, castigated Ms. Chileshe for putting the name of the Head of State Edgar Lungu and the entire PF leadership into disrepute.
She urged the outspoken PF member who is Matero Constituency MP Mile Sampa’s sympathiser to form her own political party than what she termed as riding on the projects started and embarked on by the PF government leadership.
“I challenge Ms. Chileshe to form her own political party than riding on PF projects instead of putting the name of President Lungu and the entire PF leadership into disrepute. She’s just a disgruntled person who is being used by selfish politicians in Matero,” Ms. Banda said.
Ms. Banda said Ms. Chileshe is not a founder member of PF at all but instead she ( Chileshe) is being used by selfish politicians bent on dividing the ruling party.
She threatened that she will ensure that the Police to arrest Ms. Chileshe for insulting President Lungu which is contrary to the laws of Zambia.
President Lungu is keenly following the legacy of late president Michael Sata and chided all PF and government critics, she said.
Her accomplice , Mr. Mukuka said that Ms. Chileshe belongs to the ‘PF cartel’ which he said is leading a frustrated life.
Mr. Mukuka challenged Ms. Chileshe to come out in open if she is a ‘true green’ or staunch PF which was formed by late republic president, Michael Sata.
He said President Lungu is on track to take Zambia to greater prosperity and he should be supported by all well-meaning Zambians.
“President Lungu is devoted to develop the country and those criticizing him should be shameful of themselves.
Efforts by ZANIS to get a comment from Ms. Chileshe on her claims denouncing President Lungu and the PF proved futile as her mobile phone went off.

I think the Zambians should grow and allow others with different views in our party. Chasing people everyday is not a sign of growth. Let people speak their minds and if they are not happy let them talk. That way it helps the victim to you use that to better themselves

SATA was a man he formed PF alone and he won on his own he didn’t bring in thieves to help him wining the election he faced it alone.

PF founder member?
In case you didn’t know, even Sata himself was not a founder member of PF. The likes of Kambwili, Scott and other vocal characters are not a founder members.
The one who formed PF was EDWIN LIFWEKELO. PF was formed at the height of 3rd term debate when Sata was in the driving seat.
PF was formed by students of UNZA and Edwin Lifwekelo. Sata was then invited to be its president.

Fighting has started, please stop it, you guys were the party with so much drama leading to the elections and people voted for you. Now you have put us in a dilemma the country has issues, the party has issues. So which issues are going to be fixed first,of course party issues and the country issues will stay and multiply. Poor miners were expecting the president to fix their problems but sorry miners party problems come first yours are global.

Ms. Banda don’t issue threats on someone who never insulted the President. I ready Ms. Chileshe’s article in full and there were no words of insult. When people say ifintu ni Lungu, what do they mean? Do they mean it is Lungu who has worsened things? Or it is only Lungu who has the solution even when things are vividly getting bad? Perhaps they mean Lungu is in charge and he should continue to so but when he messes up things then we say it is a natural calamity and not ifintu in Lungu? Or what? Shed some more light I seriously need some education here.
Comment: If Lungu is not careful with the) advice it will Land him in hot shoes come 2016,) too won in 2008 but becoz of his stubbornness he lost the 2011 election and prompted a revolutional Change, Am PF but am not happy with the current ways of Leadership which is not issue based, but rather its chimwela oriented kwati nipa station!!
