Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) kembe Member of Parliament lieutenant General Ronnie Shikapwasha has charged that if the entire ministerial positions can be occupied by Christians there will be a big change in Zambia in terms of development.

In an interview with pan African Radio journalist Hermit Hachilonde, Lieutenant General Shikapwasha advised church leaders especially pastors to join politics and serve Zambia.

General Shikapwasha says allowing none believers to run the affairs of the state will compromise the doctrines of the faithful Christians; hence it is imperative that the fervent prayers of the faithful take charge of the leadership of the country.

And Zambia’s Motivational speaker and organizations development facilitator Felix Banda has urged the youth in Zambia to be careful with politicians in Zambia.

Speaking in an interview with pan African Radio journalist Hermit Hachilonde, Mr. Banda who is popularly known as Galamukani said the youth in Zambia have made huge mistakes when choosing leaders only because some politicians bought them beer to hoodwink them.

He says the youth must now be vigilant and choose leaders wisely because the future of the young people in Zambia depends on their good choice of leaders they entrust to run the affairs of the state.

  1. Dull Talk, from a Dull Politician.
What Zambia really needs is a Constitution where Presidential Powers are reduced.
That way appointments will be solely on Merit, & Cadres & Stone throwers, will not be put in positions they are not not qualified for.
At the Moment all President thinks of is re- election to continue plunder, on the Gravy train, & will appoint a Toilet cleaner as Chancellor of a University, coz the Toilet cleaner can mobilise lots of votes from his equally uneducated tribesmen.
    IT’S THE CONSTITUTION STUP!D!!

  2. In fact a lot of the so called Christians in Zambia, consult Witch Doctors / Dark forces, & a thieving liars anyway. Please don’t delude yourself!

Was beaten like iyalya mani to death, that is assuming he even lived.
For all we know, he is a figment of imagination of the Roman Piso family.

      Belenga utumpuluke!

  8. Stop these efforts to overthrow democracy and install a mediocre, medieval-style theocratic leadership. Spiritual matters must remain the preserve of personal choice and practice. Ethics must override warped religious dogma and biased and selective morality. Let us have functional institutions that will protect the weakest, and the minority amongst us. That should be the Zambians’ aspirations. Do one thing right for once in your fcuking lives!

  9. Correct Galamukani, just see how much the youths are drinking on the house, I mean on the account of the so called prominent opposition leaders. Come on board fat albert and his free spending, suddenly upnd is awash with youths following the beers.

  10. GBM never learnt a single lesson from Kabwata where he distributed cooking oil to people who did not show up to vote for him.

  11. Comment:Jesus is supreme. The name ‘JESUS’ is above all names. All politicians who do not believe in Jesus will not go through in 2016 .
    .

  12. When we tell you religion has brainwashed Africans to the point of they are simply out of the minds….this is what we mean folly of the highest order.

  13. As a Christian I feel disappointed to hear this from Mr Shikapwashya..True Christian values are great, but it does not mean that it should be imposed…God desires that all be saved, by their own will and by faith. Sadly enough that wont happen hence the exceed love and pain Jesus Christ went through because He know that those that don’t will suffer the punishment that was designed for Satan and his cohorts. Anyways, Christianity is not about imposing, but love and showing forth the goodness and mercy of God. So the only way we can show that is by working together – believers and non believers.

Shame on people like Shikapwashya that think Christianity is about isolation,..Jesus came into the world..into darkness to shine His light. How else will we know the light, when there is…

    • “I bring the sword…” – Jesus Christ
Ref: Matt 10:35 and Luke 12:53.

That guy was up to no good. In any case, there are people today who go through hell for their loved ones. Mandela went to the gallows for 27 years with hard labor.
Gandhi gave up his law practice and fought for the liberation of his people.

Who did JC suffer for? Those who believe in him?

The fruits of Mandela’s sacrifices are evident – Zambia is getting some too.
The rewards of Gandhi’s fights are nourishing Zambia in a way.

For JC, we wait….and wait…and wait….yawn…and wait some more.

  14. Zambia biggest mistake would be to bring pastors to parliament. 100% of them are opportunists that morally blackmail the brainwashed masses. All those pastors want is money, sex and property.
