Wow. That’s rich, coming from the country that massively subsidizes maize, soy, beef and all the Wall Street traded agribusinesses and their armies of lobbyists. They don’t throw in their chances with the ‘free market’.

The US ambassador should keep quiet. What a slow learning fool, to be spouting free market dogma after these policies have destroyed Greece, Iceland, Ireland, the USA and all the economies they are being tried on.

  2. Indeed Ambassador Schultz is well aware how much the US Subsidizes its Agriculture sector, indeed its ironic to hear him say such, on the flip side I think we can learn a lot from our Nigerians on how their former Agriculture and rural development Minister now AFDB President Dr. Akinuwmi Adesina Transformed that Nations Agriculture Sector.Minister Lubinda should look at models that will work in our dispensation. Guy Robinson is the only one that was in touch with the real issues affecting this sector and seems to understand the dynamics in the Zambian Agriculture Dispensation Guy Scott was spot on too. Zambia will not eat the Rhetoric and theories being articulated by some of these individuals we need ideas and leaders in this sector who will unlock this Rhetoric to help the nation…
