    • What a loss to the Christ’s Kingdom here on earth … to be absent in the body is to be present with Christ. What a sweet soul this world has lost!!! Bishop Banda was the first Holy Spirit filled preacher I ever heard preach at our joint Scripture Union meeting with Mukuba Secondary School, Kitwe.

That message changed my life forever, in a way I am a product of that message 30 years after the fact. May His Soul Rest In Eternal Peace!!! Glorious is thy resting place, Man of God … Bishop, we shall meet again in the sweet by and by.

      Shalom!!

    • What a loss to the army of God. Bishop Sky Banda was a well grounded and equipped winning warrior of souls. His servanthood leadership was a practical testimony of ages. The man of God consolidated the faith of many of us. He was part of the Katherine Kuhlman statistics of spiritual revival that continues to engulf the world. MHSRIP in the bosom of Glory.

Life of humility and devotion well lived.

  1. Bishop Banda is a man of God who inspired all of us young ministers and contrary to Holly Molly brainwashing but inspiring us to live in the word.

  2. A truly humble servant of God. He never sought limelight and was not one who formed alliances with politicians as is common with some prominent Pastors. Thoughts and prayers with his surviving children.

  17. It was with great sadness that we, just today, learned of the death of Bishop Sky Banda. For this precious man of God it would have been a moment of great joy. He beheld the face of Jesus, the One He loved and served so faithfully. He ran life’s race with faith, humility and integrity. He has heard those words, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.” Death is but a step from time into God’s Presence where we shall live forever. We were missionaries in Lusaka when Sky attended Bible School. After we retired we visited Zambia one more time and enjoyed fellowship with him at Maranatha Church. We pray his wife and their four children find comfort, strength and peace in God’s Word, the sweet Presence of the the Holy Spirit, the love of family and friends and so many precious memories…
