    • Most dull people on earth are Zambians , some corrpuit people still coming back to steal . That’s why Zambia under UN figures is one of the poorest countries .

    • I was saying a President who’s blank on energy matters removes an Engineer from the Min of Energy and replaces him with a newsreader. Then the newsreader also appoints a semi-illiterate board chairperson to run the energy affairs of the country? Do these guys understand the strategic nature of energy to the country’s economy? Then at Zesco you get a much junior Mundende an appoint him MD at the expense of other competent and more experienced engineers, and even allow him to retire these same people who were the backbone of Zesco. So what do you expect?

  1. When we say that Zambia’s problems are more governance and leadership than anything . ..how can one individual namely a minister be hand picking individuals. .this here is flawed.

  2. Ichi beibe at work but take a look at a group of suspected zesco workers who may be behind power switch offf. Fire some others let them explain why,

  3. We need someone to provide a solution to the high tariff and load shading. We can’t judge him now, let him help find a lasting solution to power challenges we are facing as a nation of Zambia

  4. So, who is this Chipungu guy? What is his resume like, and how will that help service delivery by ZESCO. What type of reporting is this?

    • Dillion Chipungu CV
-Loyal to RB and warming up to Edgar Lungu
      -Anything else is irrelevant

  5. You don’t deserve a country called Zambia. You are too stup.id hopefully the dual citizenship will bring in normal people!

  6. Dillion used to run Kasinje Nite Club in Ndola and then started brewing Chibuku. Dont we have Zambian experts in the Energy sector who can hit the ground running?

    • I AGREE WITH YOU. DILLION IS NOT A TECHNOCRAT. HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE ENERGY SECTOR. HOW CAN HE BE EXPECTED TO GUIDE SUCH A HIGHLY TECHNICAL COMPANY? MAKING PAINT AND BREWING CHIBUKU IS NOT THE SAME AS GENERATING, TRANSMITTING AND DISTRIBUTING POWER. EVEN THE BUSINESSES HE RUNS ARE SME’S. MICHAEL PASQUIN WOULD HAVE EVEN BEEN BETTER GIVEN THE SIZE OF BUSINESSES HE IS RUNNING.
THE ONLY QUALIFICATION I CAN THINK OF IS THE MALAWI CONNECTION. DILLION GRAND FATHER AND FATHER CAME FROM MALAWI JUST LIKE PRESIDENT LUNGU’S PARENTS.
THE PROBLEMS WE ARE FACING IN THS COUNTRY HAVE TO DO WITH FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP AND INCOMPETENCY.

  7. If Chipungu is one of Dora’s boyfriends, well let him keep the job, after all Dora is now powerful again and she can have more than five boyfriends, if she wants; to watch her back and run around to check on her assignments/projects and then get back to her. Isn’t this what you men are doing to our economy. We have heard that those in power give responsible positions to their illiterate under skilled girlfriends. Its all about gender mainstreaming… Lol. We do not want black outs Mr. Dora
