FAZ executive committee member Lenny Nkhuwa has told upcoming players that they must be disciplined in order to excel in their career.

Officiating at the Kalusha Bwalya Christmas Youth tournament in Mufulira on Sunday, Nkhuwa said the nation need disciplined players.

“Players in the national team are slowly ageing so we need young disciplined players to take up those positions,” Nkhuwa said.

“Just improve on your performance and discipline levels. I saw some of you walking away when the referee is calling you. You must be discipline on and off the pitch,” she said.

Mufulira’s Damiano Academy won the Kalusha Bwalya tournament after thrashing Chimwemwe Chiefs of Kitwe 3-0 in the final at Central Sports cutesy of a hat-trick from Geoffrey Chingangu.

“You have displayed good football, you have entertained us and we are very happy with your performance,” Nkhuwa told players during the prize presentation ceremony.
