Forum for Democracy and Development President Edith Nawakwi has disclosed that the PF government is plotting to arrest her for initiating a program of helping farmers with farming inputs.

Ms Nawakwi disclosed this when she delivered farming inputs to farmers in Chinkuli Ward in Kasisi area of Chongwe Constituency this afternoon.

Ms Nawakwi says if it is illegal to help the people with inputs to ease their burden of looking for inputs, then she is more than ready to go to jail.

She says before the PF Government questions her source of her funding for her program of supplying farming inputs to farmers, it should disclose the source of funding for the charitable works by First Lady Esther Lungu.

Ms Nawakwi states that the problem she has seen in the PF administration is that they want to give the people fish instead of teaching them how to fish as a way of sustaining their lives.

The FDD Leader further told the people of Chongwe Constituency that the government has failed to give them fertilizer and other farming inputs because their area Member of Parliament Sylvia Masebo is working with the opposition UPND.

She has since challenged the PF government to refute the fact that development in Chongwe Constituency has slowed down from the time the area Member of Parliament started working with the UPND.

The FDD leader says it is wrong to punish the electorates in such a manner.

anyway if thats what pf is planning to do, which i doubt very much, then they are just digging their own grave.
who, in his right frame of mind would shoot down such a progressive idea? WHO?

    • Meanwhile,we need an explanation from Nawakwi on how Zambia paid more than $4m for maize which was not delivered under the Carlington maize deal when she was Minister of Agriculture,Food & Fisheries and why millions of dollars where transferred to the Zamtrop account at ZANACO bank in London when she was Minister of Finance.
