As his wedding day approaches, Ben( Kevin Heart) heads to Miami with his soon-to-be brother-in-law James( Ice Cube) to bring down a drug dealer who’s supplying the dealers of Atlanta with product.
PROS
- Kevin Heart was in top form in this one . tremendous performance.
- Ice Cube also put in a top-notch performance.
- The story felt fresh as it did not rely heavily on the first Ride Along movie ,as most sequels do.
CONS
- Kevin Heart plays basically the same character in all his movies , so you already now what to expect from him . Which is both good and bad .

CONCLUSION
Ride Along 2 is definitely the funniest movie i have watched in some time . It is hilarious from the beginning to the end . The first Ride Along ,that was released in 2014, was great , but this one took things to a much higher level ,with a much better, interesting story line and outrageous comedic antics. Kevin Heart and Ice Cube had excellent chemistry they work extremely well with each other .The always funny, Ken Jeong , was a good addition to the cast.Â
This is a must watch movie for anyone who needs a good laugh ! I would not be surprised if they make Ride Along 3 .

Has not been picked for Oscar. No wonder Blacks are planning to abandon the Oscars this year. Yes it’s the same movie role over and over again throughout Black Actor roles in Hollywood. No true creativity in Black movies. Occasionally there is a great movie with Black actors but it’s mostly these degrading one type of black person sorts and they need to learn to say NO.
