The duo were team mates at both Zambia and Nkana in the 80’s.

“It’s a big loss to soccer fraternity and to the country,” Chambeshi said.

“I played with him at club and national team what a wonderful man he was to work with and he was smart in doing his job. May his soul rest in peace.”

  1. Dear all
It is with a lot of sadness I read about the death of one of my best and loyal friends. Fighton and I worked close together with various National Teams, and he was a fantastic and competent coach.
    I will miss him.
    May he rest in peace.
    Roald Poulsen
    Former National Coach
