United Party for national Development (UPND) has said that President Lungu is being given false information by the the intelligence and security wings.
Reacting to the latest allegation that the party was training a militia of 250 youths in Lusaka to cause violence, Party national Secretary Stephen Katuka, said that the intelligence and security wings could be unmotivated and resorted to giving the head of state false information

LUNGU IS EMBARRASSING HIMSELF
President Edgar Lungu must stop embarrassing the honourable men and women in uniform and the security wing in Zambia by his reckless statements every time he talks.
His wild claims in Katete that the UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and his Vice-president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba were training a militia of 250 youths in Lusaka to cause violence is another of the many embarrassing occasions the intelligence and security wings of the country have had to endure.
Perhaps the intelligence and security wings of the country have really rebelled against Lungu for continued delayed salaries and allowances and are now completely demotivated to work properly thus giving him false information.
In one breath, he was busy boasting about being the most powerful person in Zambia yet he is failing to command the police and other security wings numbering thousands to invade the alleged UPND training camp.
Lungu’s behaviour is dangerous and it has so far exposed our intelligence wing as being incompetent and inept which is dangerous for this country.
As few weeks ago, while addressing a rally in Bweengwa Constituency in Monze he bemoaned the poor state of Bweengwa school which he claimed was neglected by the UPND President Hakainde Hichilema who he claimed was a pupil there. Yet its public knowledge that Mr. Hichilema actually went to Mooya Primary school some kilometres away from Bweengwa school. Who lied to Lungu?
Lungu also claimed Mr. Hichilema had done nothing about in the area where he grew up. Yet a few meters from where he was speaking, Mr. Hichilema was almost finishing a state of the art health centre which is much bigger than most health posts being built by PF from Kaloba. The clinic is even bigger than Chawama where Lungu was MP and grew up.
They could also not tell him that Mr. Hichilema had sunk lots of boreholes and dip tanks not only in Monze but in many parts of the country. What about the lots of other charities such as scholarships for thousands of youths in Zambia from primary school to universities that HH provides.
It is now clear we have an incompetent and petty person as President whose intelligence tells him Zambia has enough maize even for export when the people were dying of hunger in Chipangali in Eastern Province where he was speaking from.

The most significant lie on which PF is feeding is that UPND is a Southern Province party; or party for the Tongas. It cannot be denied that the party enjoys the widest following in Southern Province. What has drastically changed over the years is UPND penetration in other provinces guided by the economic malaise under which PF has taken Zambia. There is NO part of Zambia where UPND is currently not enjoying reasonable following; enough to take a landslide this year.
