  1. This is how a real President spends his time during a crisis. Busy providing solutions to problems occuring. Putting out fires.

Meanwhile back at UPND, they are making plans to destroy the country!

    • Why has load shedding here continued for 14/day. Either they are lying to Edgar or he truly doesn’t know

    • Lungu looked scared to touch a mouse, damn The Zambian president is not computer literate?? No wonder technology will never be taken seriously. He looked like a grade 1 pupil being taught how to use a PC..

    • @Jay Jay
I don’t blame you UPND supporters…that’s all you can see is Lungu’s pot belly as opposed to brother Patriot Abroad observation.

Hate won’t take you anywhere my friend Jay Jay

      2016 vote PF ( Edgar )

      I thank you

  2. Picture 1. Afterwards they’ll be accused of wielding spears against PF cadres
    Picture 9. A “Forward” sign and/or handshake?

    • You right pic 1 they have more offensive weapons than what was found at the gbm’s gym. Remember this is his 6th visit to Southern province in 2 months.

  3. This project was signed off by Rupiah Banda in 2011. It has just been completed. Nothing to do with PF initiative. Lungu is using every conceivable opportunity to be seen ‘opening’ this and that – even ordinary everyday expectations of a government that can be commissioned by a PS.

    • Harold, enlighten me please. who are the beneficiaries of this hydro power station much as it may have been signed off by RB?

    • IN AFRICA THE NORM IS TO ABANDON THE PROJECT STARTED BY OR SIGNED OFF BY THE PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT. EXEMPLARY, FOR PF THE NORM IS TO CONTINUE ALL VIABLE PROJECTS SIGNED OFF BY MMD SUCH AS THE ITEZI TEZI HYDRO POWER GENERATION AND DISCONTINUE OR STOP MEANINGLESS PROJECTS SIGNED OFF BY RB IN THE PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT SUCH AS CONSTRUCTING A NEW STATE HOUSE FOR THE PRESIDENT. SO, WE GIVE CREDIT TO PF WHO STARTED IMPLEMENTING OR CONTINUED TO IMPLEMENT THOSE VIABLE PROJECTS IN ADDITION TO THE NEW PF PROJECTS. VOTE ECL, VOTE PF IF YOU WANT MORE PROJECTS AND PEACE.

  4. SCHOOL GOER GIRL???? Mwebantu what’s that? Much as people may know what the journalist is talking about, the sound of it is awful. Sounds like pidgin English. Please people work on your sentence construction and improve on grammar.

  5. In 2011 Cadres shouted Pabwato! Pabwato! Pabwato!
Guy Scott (VP) joined; Power Toll! Power Toll! Power Toll!

From that time on, Power deficit has had its Toll on the national economy. Building power plants is a sure way of retracting those Muzungu chants. On this one keep it up.

  6. It was a good Ceremonial commission Now Lets have the Projects Commissioning reports that disbursed to projects costs and reconcile the equity in that BOOT project

Lets do a an expert audit of the documents and see the FRAUD in that MW cost accumulated looking at the cost benefit appropriately

    PROJECT FINANCIAL NEXT BANE

  7. NOT THE FAKE REPORT LINES BY GRANT THORTON IS 300 MILLION USD FOR THE CEMENT AND STEEL FROM CHILANGA AND UNIVERSAL FOR 25 YEAR BOOT

  8. JUST LIKE BLANKETS AND MATRESSES WHERE NOT ACCOUNTED FOR AT COMMISSION INCLUDING THE FUNDING FROM HEAD OFFICE AT LUPIA BANDA COMMISSIONING THE SAME WAY THE COMMISSIONING OF COMPLETION SHOULD BE DONE INCLUDING HE TAKEOFF TO HANDOVER AND DETERMINATION OF PROJECS DISBURSEMENTS

THE SMALL MONIES REMAING ON PROJECT ACCOUNT SHOULD ALSO BE ALIGNED IN THAT EQUITY PROPORTION

WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE ITT PROJECT COST THAT INCLUDES THE 220KM OF THE 22OKV NICELY DONE XCEPT FOR THE SUBSTATION BELOW QUALITY TO MUZUMA AND SEE THE CHANGE SINCE 1995 AND SEE THE DECISIONS YOU WILL NEED TO AGREE AND SAY LETS RECONCILE THE COMMISSIONED REPORT ND ZESO BE A MAJOR STAKEHOLDER HAVING…

  9. AND ZESO BE A MAJOR STAKEHOLDER HAVING CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY AND TATA BELOW 30% AS SEEN FOM INITIAL PROJECTS SUMMARIES UNLESS ITS SHOWS AND SEE THE IMBEDDED TARIFF THERE IN THAT ESCROW

WE NEED TO DETERMINE FINAL EQUITY PROPORTION AN SEE THE VALUATION SCENARIO

  10. Its simple to review the cost accumulation to projects Cost 300 Million USD
1.Excavation volumes Millions in M3 Total cost
Unclassfied so much USD in Millions of USD

Rocks so Much Millions of USD

Cofferdam removal so Much Millions of USD

    Earth refill same:

Impervious so Much Millions of USD
Granular so Much Millions of USD
Roaks including roads toppings so Much Millions of USD
    Concrete for power house…

  11. so Much Millions of USD

Fuel and steel and consultancy so Much Millions of USD

Lets see the cost build up and see a MW world standard Cost including the apportioning of equity
