NINE people in Lusaka were yesterday injured and rushed to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) after United Party for National Development (UPND) and Patriotic Front (PF) youths clashed as they prepared to take part in a march-past during Youth Day celebrations graced by Vice-President Inonge Wina.

Police fired teargas canisters to disperse the unruly youths who were seen exchanging punches, tearing and burning each other’s party regalia

Some of the victims were injured as they tried to run away from the teargas and the confusion perpetuated by the rowdy cadres.

UTH spokesperson Mwenya Mulenga confirmed having received nine people injured in the fracas, and said eight of them were seen and discharged afterwards while the one who was admitted was in a stable condition.

Lusaka Province Police chief Nelson Phiri said no arrests were made, but investigations had been launched.

Southern African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) executive director Boniface Cheembe condemned the violence, stating that it was not right for political parties to cause such confusion on a day that was supposed to be celebrated peacefully.

“As SACCORD we condemn what happened at the Freedom Statue in the strongest terms and we are calling on the leaders of the two parties to equally condemn such violence,” he said.

Mr Cheembe called on the law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the matter and ensure that the perpetrators were traced and brought to book.

He said the manner in which the top two political parties were currently conducting their politics was a danger to national security.

“Politics should not be used as a vehicle to injure people or to destroy property; it must be a vehicle to find long-lasting solutions to the challenges facing the youths and the nation at large,” Mr Cheembe said.

Meanwhile, Government will ensure youths are adequately prepared to become the driving force for Zambia’s economic freedom, President Lungu has said.

He has since launched the 2015 youth policy and the first-ever Action Plan to signify Government’s renewed commitment towards uplifting the living standards of the youth.

Mr Lungu said this in Lusaka yesterday during commemoration of the Youth Day under the theme ‘Youth: Champions of dialogue, peace, unity and economic emancipation’.

He said, in a speech read for him by Vice-President Inonge Wina, that the action plan for youth empowerment and employment creation needed a more coherent approach.

The President said there was need for the public and private sectors to mainstream the youth in all developmental activities.

“I urge all State and non-State actors to enhance their efforts towards mainstreaming youth in all their work, plans budgets, programmes, activities and projects as it is only through the same that we shall be creating optimal opportunities for the youth,” he said.

The Head of State called on the youth to be true champions of peace and co–existence before, during and after the August 11 general elections.

“I urge you our youths to reject violence and political leaders promoting the vice as they are capable of setting the country on fire,” he said.

At the same function, Youth, Sport and Child Development Minister Vincent Mwale said the theme resonated well with the youths who were expected to rise above tribal, religious and political differences and contribute to the peaceful political dispensation in Zambia.

Speaking on behalf of the youth, University of Zambia student Mahongo Kabanda thanked the President for the ambitious tone set for the aspirations of youths over the next five years.

Ms Kabanda said despite Government allocating K150 million towards youth empowerment, more resources were required to implement the plan so as to benefit young people who were mostly not employed.

Earlier, the Vice-President led diplomats and deputy service chiefs in laying wreaths at the Freedom Statue.

  1. This is the 21st century and illiterate hooligans are still clobbering each other over politics they don’t even understand. All well-meaning Zambians must condemn these barbaric, uncivilized and primitive ways of conducting politics. The leaderships from all factions must cut this violence before it becomes uncontrollable. This is IDI0TIC conduct and those politicians will never save you FO0LISH cadres from punishment of the law. UPND should be banned from attending some of these events. The Mapatizya formula championed by their ethnic mercenary Hichilema is a threat to the nation.

    • Mr. Kudos how can you blame UPND youths? Cant you see the evidence from PF burning UPND party regalia? Worse still the PF youths were dressed in military attire that I suppose was banned last week. PF`s governance has been characterized with violence despite being in the 21st century were we ought to be civilized. MMD never tolerate violence.

    • You can neither blame PF nor UPND in this. This is a pathetic legacy that UNIP sowed so many years ago. Why are we so short-sighted in our appreciation of history? Unless and until we get down to the root cause, we will continue playing mediocre politics at the expense of progress. UNIP’s legacy is still palpable and we must consciously reject it on a daily basis! Old habits, they say, die hard. It is true!

    • If you are not willing to die for something, then you are nothing, a coward who will die hundred times is his life before his death. PF and Lungu do not own Zambia. Let’s all claim back our Zambia.
      #ChagwaMustFall

    • Why should UPND be banned from attending national events? Is it because of lack of tolerance by this party of thugs and basali ba lififi? IG you got those pictures find those thugs and whores.

    • @ kudos

Short memory? Who and when did start this 1mbecility?
      PF did open Pandora box.
Now you are trying to play role of victim?
To late. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, life ………………..
Either the rule of law is applied equally to all segments of political divide or PF will be subjected to theirs own medicine.

    • I was at the march-past during Youth Day celebrations, PF cadres provoked UPND Youths, and the reason was because they were shocked to see so hundreds of UPND youth attending the march-past.

PF cadres even undressed a UPND female youths in the full view of the police. I was very disappointed at the behaviour of the police, instead of them stopping PF youth from stoning youths, they stood on the side of PF youth and fired tear gas at UPND supporters.

MY ADVISE TO UPND, IS STAY WAY FROM THE LEGS OF A DYING HORSE, YOU MIGHT BE KICKED

    • Levy took over a very violent MMD that was created by Sata. We remember Bobo, Scorpion & late Manjata. The first thing Levy did was to reject those thugs. We had 8 violence free years.
For as long as Kadansa calls them his security wing these panga wielding PF hooligans will have licence to maim. Mere verbal condemnation is not enough. Kadansa needs to reject them.

    • It’s disheartening to see these three pf whores in the picture allows these thugs to strip naked their fellow woman and burn her clothes for supporting another party, just two days after celebrating women’s day.

    • Kudos your comments expose you as one of the paid bloggers of hate speach and idiocy , looking at the picture tells you who the violent party is; Zambia is not for PF only it belongs to all of us even the opposition. Anyway enjoy now because very soon they will not afford to pay you to make foolish comments. The president is about to dialogue on peace in the nation but it will not work because he has corrupted your idle minds with violence and given you cadres protection from prosecution and the right to dress up in military attire, but remember the day of reckoning is nigh.

    • This marks the end of PF, Even in other areas PF planned to attack UPND cadres, but they were supprised to find they were not present. Lungu will be in deep problems along with these fools once they lose after august 2016.

    • Kudos you started well with your comment then suddenly you changed by attacking upnd. Wether upnd or pf, it is wrong to fight in politics. Especially were you are used as a youth by a politician who will never even care for you. It is sad that these kids are cadres.

  2. Comment:
Youths should wake up and stop being used to advance the selfish interests of political
    leaders.

    • LT can we have pictures of UPND burning PF regalia, your reporting implies it was a fight when the truth is that UPND was attacked while PF police snf PF leadership were watching show us injured PF cadres (as we have seen on other media of bleeding UPND youth) I bet you can’t because they don’t exist just like bweengwa. That blood that has been spilt was created by God the creator. One day you will have to account for it no sin goes Unpunished. Wasted airtickets meeting the pope. For those of you who do not believe in God there is something called Karma. Be blessed

    • Njala my friend, njala!
They have no jobs and fighting each other for no apparent reasons (like boxers do) is the only way they can get paid.

  3. 1. And there is a president in state house while this is happening.
    2. and their if a minister of home affairs who gets paid while this is happening
    3. And there is a police force in this country while this happening
    3. And there is a vice president who for Gos’s happens to be a woman while this is happening
    4. And the so called minister of youths was present while this was happening (what youths?)
    5. And the men and women in governement are actually parents
    6. And these people had to swear holding the holly bible in their hands to uphold our constitution when they accepted their jobs
    7. Will you vote for continuity or try something new?? – really upto the Zambian people!!

    • THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AT STATE HOUSE, DOES IT? THERE WAS CONFUSION AT DONALD TRUMP’S RALLY BEFORE YESTERDAY AND THE RALLY WAS STOPPED: WOULD U BLAME OBAMA FOR THAT? PEOPLE DO THINGS OF THEIR OWN ACCORD; THAT IS WHY THEY GET ARRESTED WHEN FOUND. LETS NOT SHIFT THE BLAME. WHETHER PF OR UPND CADRES, ANYONE WHO PERFORMS SUCH ACTS MUST BEAR THE BLUNT. DONT ALWAYS BLAME THE PRESIDENT THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DONT WANT TO STOP, COZ U BLAME SOMEONE ELSE NOT THEM.

    • @Ted, you sir are an a$$. It’s global te. As imperfect as the US is can you compare it with Zambia in its current form. Are cadres above he kaw in the US? Did the ruling party not just recently ban and agree not to wear military fatigues. Go back to the picture and allow your brain to process the fact that one of those baboons is wearing the very same banned outfit. These things happened in front of police and your so called leaders. Even in the US my a$$. The only countries you should be comparing yourselves are Sudan, Zimbabwe, Libya, Syria that kind. Zambia is truly peaceful indeed

  4. I feel UPND deserves that becsuse this party is very provocative!!they like teasing PF even when they know very well that upnd cadres cannot outnumber PF loves in Lusaka or Copperbelt!!JUST HAVE A LOOK AT THEIR ZWD,THEY REPORTED THAT PF YOUTHS ATTACK UPND AFTER BEING OUTNUMBERED DURING YOUTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!!now can those youths(PF) who were out numbered beat their friends who were many(upnd)?THIS PARTY(UPND) IS FULL OF DREAMERS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!!we all witnessed recently how gbm and hh dared president Edgar Lungu and the police,is that good in a democracy!!HOW MANY PF CADRES WERE PROVOKED?THEN WHAT HAPPENED IN BWEENGWA WHERE UPND CADRES CAUSED VIOLENCE?REALY BOTH PARTIES HAVE TO CONTROL THEIR CADRES BCOZ UPND CADRES ARE VERY FEW AS COMPARED TO PF,SO ITS UPND WHO SHALL EVER LOSE VIA…

    • Sad to read yur statement sir. It doesn’t matter which party you support violence is violence. @ Ted violence did not start today we have been talking about it since January or beyond. Police are afraid to act. Is there any special reason for this? who shoould we blame?

    • @eddy don’t worry there will be no regalia in the voting booth then you will know who out numbers who. You think everyone is brave enough to wear UPND regalia when your demons are at every bus stop with pangas. Every dog has its day our us on 11th August, continue winning the battle we are winning the war. you forget that God made the same people you in your wisdom feel they deserve to be beaten. Speaking of God where is Phukuta Mwanza comment kaili or are you still busy eating PF money to notice PF being their usual violent selves. If it was UPND he would be shouting on the mountain top.

  5. @kudo. You r a rabid dog. You always support everything done by these PF bustards (cadres), Bcoz u eat from them. UPND were attacked by yo PF cadres wen they were told by ZP to divert from the main road which the VP & other diplomats were to use. That’s how they clashed. PF has always been a tribal, violent & Provocative. You shall kno them by there Deeds, walks & talks, so saith the Lord

  6. Upnd cadres shall ever lose via violence because PF cadres are many across Zambia than those of PF!!LET LOVE LEAD AND STOP POLITICS OF MAME CALLING!!ITS BAD TO PROVOK YOUR FRIENDS AS THEY HAVE FEELINGS AND CAN REACT TOO!!SO UPND STOP POLITICS OF TEASING EACH OTHER!!

    • There will be NO regalia or PF thugs at the polls my friend then you can react however you like after. These same thugs will scamper. Ask Kaunda and ask RB

  9. Same world different techniques by police, Zambia police firing tear gas aimlessly is the only technique they know best. – Police say they used pepper spray twice outside a Trump rally in Kansas City, Missouri, and two people were arrested for refusing to follow the law.
In a Twitter post late Saturday, Kansas City police did not say if the use of pepper spray was on demonstrators or Trump supporters. Television images showed one protesteru rubbing his eyes and saying that he had been sprayed.
While a boisterous group of protesters gathered outside the theater where Trump spoke in downtown Kansas City, the event concluded without significant incident. Police say the majority of people exercised their rights to gather peacefully.
Trump’s remarks were interrupted about a dozen times by…

  10. remarks were interrupted about a dozen times by protesters who managed to get into the theater, and they were escorted out.

  11. @eddy. The bweengwa saga is a sensitive one my friend. Ask yoself questions why the’re NO arrests upto now. That one was a make-up to dent the image of one opposition political party by PF themselves but it flopped. Yesterday’s 1,Yes, it’s true UPND youths outnumbered PF youth, UPND youth’s were 2000+ with good motives of celebrating youth day. They were defeated because the other camp had dangerous weapons which made UPND youths run for there lives. PF leaders should stop testing the peace this country have enjoyed over the years. Wars are easily ignited than stopped.

  12. We all know it is PF and the police causing the violence so let’s not beat around the bush ba SACCORD. on my way into town yesterday the same PF thugs were matching through traffic on Cairo road with no police in sight. It was dangerous. But then we have no president to stop this no sense.

  13. UPND shall keep on winning online baba!!I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHERE UPND GET THE CONFIDENCE OF WINNING 2016 ELECTIONS BECAUSE HAS KEPT ITS STRONGHOLDS INTACT WHILE UPND IS EQUALLY STRONG IN ITS 3 PROVINCES!!SO SOBER UP BABA!!EDGAR LUNGU IS ON TOP OF THINGS!!

    • Lungu has no strong hold, Lusaka, CB and Northern were Sata’s strongholds, this time things have changed, you will be shocked in August. Lungu can’t even get 1000 people at his rally in Chipata.

We are sending the drunkard back to Chawama

    • eddy; not only online but come August we will vote out your party. Viva HH, VIVA UPND AND PEACE WITH LAW AND ORDER AGAIN.

  14. I witnessed a fight in Bulagililo, Kitwe when a young man possibly on drugs confronted a driver of a truck which was selling mealie meal door to door. The truck apparently had gone past this young man’s house. He followed and stopped the truck and confronted the elderly driver. As the driver tried to explain, the young man was first to throw a punch. But fortunately the driver ducked the punch and hit back. The old man’s punch was so heavy that it did not only floor the aggressor but the young man ended up in hospital with a concussion. So the fact that the fellow in the photo is in bandages does not make him innocent. He might have started it all but was simply overpowered.

  15. This should be a lesson to the govt of impending ‘aftermath’ where the Intelligence should implore all possible avenues of security to avert these seemingly irreconcilable differences and possible post-election clashes, sooner rather than later. If these signs are anything to go by, its all system go unless you want to expose the dark side of Zambia come August.

  16. Comment:It has now come to this then am afraid we will one day kiss goodbye to peace.
Youths arise and c through the crystal ball. u r only being used and later discarded like a peace of garbage. The future of this country lies in you but if not careful u r going 2 have a bleak future.

  17. Meanwhile, Government will ensure youths are adequately prepared to become the driving force for VIOLENCE, President Lungu has said.

  18. Burning of party regalia is not illegal as there is no law which says you cant burn regalia. Just like UPND wanted pictures if actual violence in Bweengwa i feel this case here may also require pictures of cadres exchanging punches for us to believe it happened. Anyone can go to hospital after a brawl and on his way he us bribed and paid to wear a UPND Tshirt. How convienient that Sylvia masebo can respond so quickly and be at UTH to attend to UPND cadres

  19. I was at the point of action actually upnd provoked pf by going near pf cadres chanting hh forward and insulting the president in short they went there so that they can be attacked so that people can blame pf cadres for attacking them.its shameful having a party thinking always of evil.
*They dont always attend why this year what good thing as made them attend.
They thought they were many and capable of defeating pf dont provoke this party please u will be done.dont blame police u start then if they do you thats when police become important to you nonse.
Be actual, learn to do things together.

  20. I dont see any normal human beings voting for pf in the coming general election. This party has brought alot of destruction in this country. God help us!

    • Chalwe are you referring to the known church elder for decades or the drunk who has just started seeing the inside of church building recently please assist in clarifying the one you are talking about.

  21. ULYA PALYA NI DEVIL QUICK TO SURRENDER THERE THE ONES WHO ENJURED MANY PF CADRES WITH THEM ITS JUST THAT MAN IN PICTURE.
IMMEDIATELY THEY DISCOVERED THEY WILL BE DEFEATED THEY CALLED FOR A CAMERAMAN AND POLICE TO SHOW THEY HAVE BEEN ATTACKED.
YOU WILL BE DEFEATED ON THE ELECTION DAY.
TRIBAL HH WILL SEE THE LAST DAY.
WE KNOW THESE ARE PAID CADRES TO CAUSE CONFUSION.NOW THAT UNZA AND CBU ARE CLOSED HE IS GIVING CASH TO YOUTHS TO CARRYOUT VARIOUS ACTIVITIES.
    # ZAMBIA BEING DIVIDED BY ONE FOOL I LOVE TONGAS BUT NOT THIS ONE.

  22. Nyati – me too. But this is a party of thugs and if thugs outnumber ordinary Zambians then PF will win. Now even the police are storming radio stations to disrupt air programmes. What a government.

  23. Like Seriously, we shall consider banning UPND and PF from contesting the forth coming elections to ensure sanity in Zambia

  24. This is a clear picture that PF has failed to rule.As a gvt in power PF should take all the blame cos they have all the instruments to control every soul in thbe country. The fact that this is the worst violence the country has seen clearly signifies a failed gvt

  25. IF UPND YOUTHS HAVE NEVER, AND I MEAN THEY HAVE TAKEN PART IN YOUTH CELEBRATIONS FOR YEARS,

    1. WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY DOING AT THE EVENT THIS YEAR?
    2. SINCE WHEN DID MS MASEBO START WORKING IN THE EMERGENCY UNIT AT THE HOSPITAL?

    • Luapula premier that is a typical stupid question from a pfool cader, it’s like asking people why changwa has all of sudden become a church goer. When everyone knows church is for everyone, just like public events like youth day.

    • Luapula premier first you have asked very stupid question which is typical to pfool caders, it’s like as someone why changwa as all of a sudden become a church goer? When everyone knows everyone is free to be in church, just the same every individual is free to attend public functions like youth day and why this year? Are you an ostrich? This pf is going oppo and UPND will be ushered into government.

  26. Its so unfortunate seeing my fellow youths fighting each other all because of our different political affiliations.
Why cause such a mess on such a day ?
What kind of examples are you setting for the young ones who where at the event?
    Thats just unfair.
The police must put to book all those who started this.
Unwell mannered youths will make some of be scared of voting

  27. The VP was raising her fist as if that was a PF rally. What a shame. Youth day is a national event not PF. Why allow PF youths to wear army uniform? Where are the police force?

  28. HH’s UPND is a total sham!
See, what I don’t want is the situation where people like HH to set mother Zambia on fire and run to SA in the comfort of his SA house watching the bloodshed in Zambia on his sumsang curve.
HH tell your hooligans and Kaponyaz to calm down.
Nobe lungu, tell ya Kaponyaz to calm dowm too. There is only one defence and national security wing in Zambia which should serve the interest all Zambians. Just Beat HH clean.
Now listen iwe Hetch Hetch(HH), the voting pattern in SP will never change any sooner, so I know how not to give you my vote.

  30. Some pipo r jt to dull, they coz shame to the majority Zambians. @kudos , night skool is on on, plz enroll even jt 4 a month, u will c the benefits. oways naba 1 to comment nonsense. shame

    • It should be Soya Nyama to make sense! You have it back to front like your arguments, it’s you to enrol at night school. Kudos is right. Ban UPND. NO OTHER Opposition is organised to this extent.

  31. Send these Youths to National Service to occupy them. Give them programmes of development and Job training programmes in all public and private sector companies.

Police must arrest and………..words fail me. It’s all too sad that they lack opportunities to the extent of political parties misusing them. Where are their parents….? What…? They are members of UPND, PF and they are being used….!! Oh no!

  32. People should be aware that PF have a bloggers who are employed full time and paid(Tax payers money) by the PF Party Media Department. While most bloggers are here to see latest news and commenting on it,others are working full time and furthering party propaganda.
You can easily identify them from their one sided or misplaced comments on any issue.Just ignore them and don’t waste your time countering their posts.

    • Where is your evidence, AND what us your opinion on this story. Seems you just want to shut down those that are intelligent enough to tell the truth about UPND. Everyone knows that ZWD and LT is created by funding from one man HH. I don’t understand why you are asking others be ignored when your UPND is saying Human ?Rights and ?Freedom of speech be respected.

    • And @Independent, you seem to be a very mentally violent person, asking people to isolate people. This is what comes out velar about some bloggers here. They come to settle old scores because they are unable to move on in their lives. Isolation and refusing others opinions by claiming superiority is a war propaganda. Some come here to blog against others so they cannot be heard. Removal of freedom of speech. Creep.

  33. I hear that UPND have not attended youth day or several years. And when they decided to do so, it was to provoke their colleagues in PF. According to UPND insiders, the strategy is to provoke PF at any opportunity like this one or GBMs court appearances so that when PF youths react, they will cry victim. The wider strategy is to use every trick in the book, morals aside For a desperate party without any sense of morals, anything goes and I mean ANYTHING under the sun.

  34. THESE MORONS AND HALDOL HITRE WHAT A DEVIL TONGUE BEING TWISTED LIKE A PYTHOE WHEN HE IS TALKING TO HIS CADRES.WHAT A FOOL WHO CAN CAUSE YOUTHS BLEED HIM IS BUSY DINNING WITH DIPLOMATS GIVING HIS BEST TO PEOPLE WHO DONT SUFFER FOR HIM.THE BEST FOOD HE OFFERS IS KACHASU IN MWINILUNGA,CHIBUKU IN COPPERBELT,TUJILIJILI IN SOLWEZI,NGANKATA IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE, PIPO HOW MANY TIMES WILL THIS F**L TRICK U,IN MUFUMBWE PIPO LOST EYES,HOUSES,LIFE YOU STILL WANT TO SUPPORT A FAILURE, ONE WHO HAS IMPOSED HIMSELF ON A PARTY.
VOTING FOR THIS CHAP ZED WILL BE ON FIRE HE WILL REFUSE TO LEAVE OFFICE LIKE THE BURUNDI CHAP
ZED ITS ONLY LUNGU NOW~ NO TO VIOLENT CBM AND JJ INDALAMA SHAMUTI SHILEBAFUNGANYA BALEFWA BL**D

  35. UPND is organised sc.um. They can’t win and are looking to provoke citizens to start a black on black helter skelter.

Anarchy is the only tool left to HH.

  36. THIS WAS A PRIMITIVE PLAN BY ULYA PALYA NI DEVIL. IN THERE GROUP THERE WAS A REPORTER,CAMERAMAN,RISKCURE,THE REPORTER REPORTED A ONE SIDED STORY IT HAS JUST SHOWN ONE UPND CADRE MEANING THE OTHER 8 ARE PF MEANING THERE ONES WHO ATTACKED FIRST.IT WAS A PLANNED MOVE WHY THE RISKCURE MASEBO WAS ON SITE SO FAST THAN ANY PERSON.
PIPO OPEN YOUR EYES KOPALA TAFYENI ICHIPONDO APO TAMULA AMBA UKUILASA~
WE NEED TO PRAY THIS DEVIL TO MOVE OUT OF THIS PERSONS THEY ARE GOOD BUT THE DEVIL IS USING THEM

  37. Yes this was a planned move by evil men( Fred M’membe,hh,Wynter Kabimba and GBM)!!!UPND HAS NEVER ATTENDED SUCH EVENTS FOR YEARS,SO WHAT HAS CHANGED NOW WHEN GBM AND WYNTER KABIMBA HAVE JOINED THEM?IN THEIR TEAM,SYLVIA MASEBO,A REPORTER FROM THE POST WERE THERE!!!OPEN YOUR EYES PLEASE VOTERS!!WE MUST DEFEAT HH AND HIS CARTEL ON 11/08/2016 FOR PEACE TO RETURN TO LOCAL POLITICS!!HH AND HIS TEAM WANT TO AUTION MOTHER ZAMBIA LOOKING AT THEIR DESPERATION FOR PLOT 1!!LATE MICHAEL SATA NEVER ACTED SO DESPERATE LIKE HH BEFORE HE WON,SO LETS BE CAREFUL!!INDEED EDGAR LUNGU IS THE BEST LEADER AMOST AL THOSE WHO ARE STANDING THIS YEAR AND WE MUST VOTE FOR HIM IN OUR MASSES!!GO PF GO!!

  38. The guilty are always afraid….It is not surprising that @Patriot Abroad was the first to come out.The PF Media Department is not different to what Putin and Mugabe have to spread their party propaganda. Both Putin and Mugabe are known to have full time paid bloggers on forums hosted by CNN,BBC etc posting comments and creating an illusion that they enjoy support from their respective populations.
PF have copied that. You can even see their posts on ZWD,POST face book etc.Same sentence structure and english composition. After August 11,the funds will try out as PF will break up with members flocking to the the Rainbow party and DF. That will be it.Unlike FDD and MMD,PF will completely disappear from the political scene.

  39. Zambians have a shocking short memory. How can we doubt the source of this violence? Have we forgotten already how Lungu ascended to the presidency of PF? Is it not through pangas that he became president and now you want to blame other parties? Zambia is a country that doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going. No wonder we have a drunkard in state house. Wake up Zambians before you perish. Mwanawasa banished these savages but under Lungu they have become more powerful than the police. Lungu is on record of warning the police that if they can’t do their job he would ask his cadres to come in. So?

  40. Comment:
The last kicks of a dying cow i dont see ka hh winning election. The pipo shouting and predicting winning ar those promised jobs …the birtches ar thinkin ecl is rooting the country in five yrs they cant see massive development done. The instead of openly appreciating ..they condeming…this *****s ar planing to loot zambian so dont allow them.ECL dont be shaken by so called defections by failures planners of plunderers becos they ve no room in pf..let them bring money to. us. we shall chew….donch. kubeba. it is us to vote ….not ….they ar busy planning on how on to cos trouble but time is not with them.if one defect to them they celebrate like winning election in pf we dont becos we know the game plan….15 years pf to finnish the programs stay unshaken lungu…gudmorninng…
