Nkana, Power win practice matches

Nkana on Saturday morning beat FAZ Division One North side Kalulushi Modern Stars 3-0 in a practice match played at Independence Stadium in Kalulushi.

Nkana were warming up for their next Super Division match against Green Eagles to be played on March 26 at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Strikers Shadreck Musonda, Simon Bwalya and Walter Bwalya were the scorers for Nkana.

Prior to the main friendly match, the Nkana reserves had beaten their Kalulushi counterparts 1-0 with a goal from striker Josphat Kasusu.

The Super Division is on a one-week break to pave way for the FAZ Annual General Meeting taking place on Saturday in Kitwe.

Elsewhere, Power Dynamos on Fridaybeat FAZ Division One North side Kitwe United 2-0 in a training match at Arthur Davies Stadium.

Power are preparing to face Nchanga Rangers in their next Super Division match on March 26 at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola.

A goal each from midfielder Kelvin Mubanga and ex-Chipolopolo defender Francis Kasonde stirred Power to the victory.

All the goals came in the second half with Mubanga converting a penalty before Kasonde powered in a header from a corner.

The earlier match between the reserve sides finished 2-1 in favour of Power.
