  1. Meanwhile LAZ hasn’t said anything on Police’s unprecedented search at Mushipe Martha’s law firm. Priorities, I guess!

    • @Spark jarrow, it is a good observation you make. There is too much conspiracy..Edgar and his Police have failed, period! How can police always such to search HH, GBM and Mushipe…come out with nothing, in case of Martha they found a document allegedly authored by Minister of Justice (another failed lawyer just Edgar) and not action. Yet the fail to end gruesome ritual murders. Pathetic!!

    • 100%

Ritual killers are prominent business men we have who want to ascent to power. Their witch doctors have told the to use people’s blood. Why is it happening during the election year?

Evil politicians are sending people to slaughter on their behalf. Leave the innocent Rwandanese foreigners, they have nothing to do with the evil political vice.

  2. Comment: Ba LAZ President, how much support have u offered to oppressed Zambians like Martha Mushipe? U r quiet and a coward looking to score easy goals. Why does this smell of an attention-seeking PR stunt? Let your charity begin at home mama then we’ll respect u.

  3. These criminal acts are reminiscent of the Mushala attacks on innocent citizens and the strangler attacks on Lozi women on the streets of Lusaka in late 1980 – 1990. The people perpetrating these acts are working with in concert with power hungry politicians who failed to condemn these killings. For example HH and Guy Scott will condemn the riots but not the ritual murders. This level of wickedness in Sh!ty politicians is baffling. The Zambian security services have a good track record of dealing with such thugs. These thugs will be caught out, exposed and will face the Zambian justice system. Politicians sponsoring these acts will equally face the wrath of the law. Alternatively this election must be postpone and printing of ballot papers stopped until this urgent matter is resolved.

    • Yes – there was one Munukayumbwa Sipalo who jumped to his death at Force HQ when he was cornered about those stranglings and rape instances on women at that time. Some of these happenings have a smack of some shifty manipulation somewhere to instill fear and terror in the population for a calculated gain. It is unfortunate. Do we know who the victims are by the way? Are they homeless persons? Any relatives come forward to claim their remains? Would be nice to know.

    • @ Kalok, Point of correction; the man who jumped to his death at Lusaka Central Police (the Lusaka Strangler) was certainly not Munukayumbwa Sipalo. The late Munukayumbwa Sipalo was a freedom fighter and was one of the early ministers in the Kaunda regime.

  4. In addition to probing rituals LAZ should ask for a probe in the activities of ECZ in selecting a winning bidder for the 2016 elections. Left alone ECZ and PF will plunge the country into a civil by steering rigged elections in Zambia. PF in spite of its poor performance record is trying to rig itself back in power. This an illegal and treasonable crime.

  5. lacking in most zambians: broad and independent minds. who ever is doing this has us thinking the way he wants us to: IT’S RITUAL KILLINGS. remove the word ritual and you will be more than closer to the truth. open your eyes. remember the mansa riots? well, then it was said to be ritual killings. why 2 days aftee the confusion in lusaka ww have the same in mansa, again

  6. the best way to lose a battle is to be exactly where your enemy wants you to be. it’s all in the mind. ,if I can dictate your thinking,I can dictate your life. some people are literary robots, there thought pattern on issues depends on what certain media houses, politicians, pastors musicians, actors etc say. it’s called brain washing. again I say, remove the word. RITUAL and you will be more than closer. to th truth. simple.think zambia, think, it’s not. had to know.

  9. PLAYING THE UN GOVERNORABLE TACTICS TO WIN AN ELECTIONS UPND VERY DESPERATE BUT LUNGU STILL WINS

YOU EVEN TAKE THE TACTICS TO MANSA THINKING YOU WILL CAUSE PEOPLE TO RISE AGAINST INNOCENT AMICO AND OTHER BUSINESSMEN TO INFLAME THE ALREADY PF DECIDED VOTERS

YOU WILL NOT WIN LUNGU WILL WIN STILL

  10. @Gary Nkombo I totally agree with you. I am happy that there are still some intelligent people amid the eclipse of mob thinking. NEVER THINK IN A BOX. It would have been better to call these killings gruesome serial murders until the motive is established empirically. Calling them ritual could have an influencing effect on both investigators and members of the public who could help the security wings with information. The superstition connotation in RITUAL obscures broader investigative observations by everyone. Most people in Zambia understandably were not born during the time of the Lusaka Strangler mentioned by @Kalok . A Mr Sipalo (NOT Munukayumbwa) who turned out to be the Lusaka Strangler unfortunately turned out to be from the least suspected part of society!. History teaches a…

  11. @4.1 Kalok, the Lusaka Strangler was a Sipalo, but NOT Munukayumbwa Sipalo who was a respected Zambian nationalist politician from the KK vintage. Please research what you write to avoid desecrating the names of honored Zambian politicians or other innocent citizens.

  12. LAZ itself is a corrupt cartel, how can they help with bringing culprits to book?

At least 90% of lawyers in Zambia are crooks and outright thieves, always stealing clients’ money, and are emboldened by LAZ’s deliberate failure to discipline them.

    • Under this woman LAZ will be a wing of PF. The LAZ executive is dominated by people from one region and who are PF sympathisers. The general membership should be alert before they find their association starting their meetings with pabwato slogans. It has happened before. Remember how the other Bemba dominated executive ended up being given senior positions in government by Sata?
