Christian Democratic Party President Dan Pule has called on Inspector General of police Kakoma Kanganja to investigate former Vice President Guy Scott for vowing to cause havoc for the President.

Dr Pule said that Dr Scott’s utterances that he will cause havoc for President Edgar Lungu to step down must be probed.

Dr Pule said that Dr Scott’s statement carried in Thursday’s edition of the Post Newspaper must be condemned by peace loving Zambians.

Dr Pule noted that a man of Dr Scott’s standing must lead in preaching peace ahead of the general election as opposed to fanning violence.

He told journalists at a media briefing that the police must immediately institute investigations in Dr Scott’s threats in order to give Zambians a peace of mind.

Yesterday the Post Newspaper reported that Dr Scott, who together with Miles Sampa, Obvious Mwaliteta and Garry Nkombo on Sunday held a rally in Mazabuka, said that he was on a mission to remove the MMD which has crept back into power under President Lungu’s watch.

“When you see that, then you should know what we are up to. PF knows what we are capable of doing. So we are on a mission to take away the PF members that we suffered with who have been replaced by MMD.

So we will cause a lot of havoc and diarrhoea for the PF until Edgar is removed. Until the MMD that has crept back into power is removed again, because we saw that we were being eaten alive in PF by the MMD,” Dr Scott said.

”We see UPND as this year’s winner in this election and we want the people who have been pushed out of PF to be part of that. I consider myself to have been pushed out of PF, being pushed out.”

He said President Lungu was feeling the pressure exerted by the PF breakaway group that was supporting UPND’s presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema.

    • Moreover if figurative speech as used in the English language then those with problems relating to understanding use of English must start advocating that English be scrapped off as the official language for Zambia. (The way things go in Zambia as regards understanding our languages we are worse of what happened at the building of the Tower of Babel!)

One time I proposed that Professors should be given 2,000 ballot papers to cast, Doctors 1,700, Masters holders 1,400, Degrees/professional holders 1,100, Higher Diploma 750, Dip/ Licenciate 10, Adv Cert 2, Cert/G12 1. But with such bufoonery, let it remain the way it is.

    • Isnt this the guy at Mulungushi conference who was preaching the “laughing in spirit” stuff? Sometimes I get shocked with the way our so-called Zambian leaders/pastors think. Dr Scott even qualified what he meant from this statement, “So we are on a mission to take away the PF members that we suffered with who have been replaced by MMD. So we will cause a lot of havoc…”. Is that hard to understand, seriously?

      “Cause Havoc” in a sentence:
      – Alex attacked his food as if it were to blame for the havoc he had created/caused at the table.
      – Unrequited love could wreak havoc on a conscience.
      – The departure of many original PF founding members to join other parties has caused havoc in the ruling party!!!

  8. It is actually the UPND which has been chewed by MMD and PF.
    Canicius, homeless, Banda was a junior member of MMD in 2011, today he is Vice president of UPND.
    GBM was PF until last year, when he was expelled, today he is Vice president of UPND.
    11 MMD MPs, most of them former ministers, joined UPND a few weeks ago and there were celebrations.
    The question is: Why is UPND bitter when opposition parties join PF?

  20. I would like to sincerely advise UPND supporters and sympathizers. No doubt UPND will one day rule this nation if they penetrate more regions besides southern, western and north western. The best thing you can do in the remaining three months before elections, sale your manifesto to the electorate. Avoid castigating the PF unnecessarily. Tell people messages like “yes the PF has done roads but if you give us an opportunity we will do abcd which is not being done now “. Allow people to associate UPND with reasonableness. Again to be honest both UPND and PF bloggers you can really insult each other and the presidents of the two parties. If insults would stick on the person being insulted EL and HH would have been having insult stickers on their faces big time.

  40. Dunamis Christian Centre and Trinity Broadcasting Corporation (TBN) Zambia chapter founder Rev Dan pule has dominated the local press once again.
    This time around again, it is for some wrong reason, a marital problems! Well, someone had called it a sex related problem.
    Dr Pule has been summoned to a police station in Lusaka to answer to charges related to bigamy.
    He is alleged to have married a second wife before divorcing the previous woman, 27 year old Leah Mulemba.
    Dr Pule 52, did not show up at Lusaka central police station on Monday but decided to talk to journalists at the TBN offices where he talked about his troubled marital life of late.
    Dr Pule was initially married to an American Janet for 23 years before the couple divorced in 2007
