Zambia’s foreign based call-ups are expected to join the team in West Africa ahead of next months 2017 Africa Cup Group E qualifier away to Guinea Bissau.
Chipolopolo face Togo in the first of two friendly games in the region on May 27 and on May 30 against Gambia en route to Bissau.
Zambia leave for West Africa on Tuesday from Ndola with only one foreign-based player expected to travel with the team.
Interm team manager Stanley Kaseko said only captain Rainford Kalaba will accompany the team.
Kalaba is also the only TP Mazembe player released while Nathan Sinkala and Kabaso Chongo expected to fly out on May 30.
“No professioal player has joined us so far. The foreign based players will fly directly to Togo,” Kaseko.
Zambia will play Togo and Gambia as build-up matches before taking on Guinea Bissau on June 4 in the two sides penultimate Group E qualifier in Bissau.
Chipolopolo are 3rd in Group E on 6 points, one behind leaders Guinea Bissau but tied with 2nd placed Congo-Brazzaville who have a better goal difference.
