Beat Guinea Bissau-Kamanga

Share

FAZ president Andrew Kamanga says Football House expects Chipolopolo to beat Guinea Bissau in the June 4 crucial 2017 Africa Cup qualifier in West Africa.

George Lwandamina’s side is on Tuesday leaving for West Africa two play two friendlies against Togo and Gambia prior to the Guinea Bissau encounter.

“We have done our part by making sure that we arrange training games and they travel in good time. They will camp in West Africa,” Kamanga told Radio Icengelo.

“So it is our hope that with these arrangements the team will be able to deliver a positive result. A positive result for us is a win,” he said.

Zambia will warm-up against Togo on May 27 before facing The Gambia on May 27.

  1. Kamanga should ensure that he starts on a positive winning note not to give fans a bleak future devoid of trophies- Kalu had set the bar so ensure that achievements come forth!

    • Since Kamanga took over FAZ, no super striker ever scored. I mean Mbesuma or Kalengo never scored at all. I even think umwaiche Luchanga never scored.

  2. “Zambia will warm-up against Togo on May 27 before facing The Gambia on May 27” Ba LT can you please employ proof readers. Too much errors in your reporting of news.

  3. This is good Kamanga. Kalu used to camp in south africa and travel for a game a day before which never used to make sense. I remeber the game against Sudan in the blistering heat. We camped in south africa which has cool whether to play in the heat.!!! It also happened against Algeria. We camped in South Africa which has good pitches when we were playing at Konkola stadium which haa very bad playing surface. We could not even control the ball and resorted high balls. The Algerians were more comfortable on the ball than the hosts because they had studied the pitch and and chose a similar pitch for training and camped at a place with similar whether pattern as chililabombwe. Its calls for good planning.

    • VK stop being naive. You think Kalusha a footballer doesn’t know what you are saying? Do you know how acclamatisation works? It takes two days for you to be affected by the weather and after that you need three days to acclamatise.

  4. Kalu used to camp the Team in SA because he always had a cut in any business FAZ had with almost any institution they trade with well done Kamanga……. all the Best to Chipolopolo….
