Former Kanyama Member of Parliament Gerry Chanda has backed President Edgar Lungu’s sentiments that Zambians should not experiment leadership on 11th August, 2016.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Pan African Radio Journalist Hermit Hachilonde, Colonel Chanda said the Patriotic Front (PF) Government under incumbent President Lungu has developed the country in many key areas hence voting them out it will be unfair.
Colonel Chanda who is currently serving as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs noted that the masses will not risk experimenting new leadership on 11th August, 2016 as they have a lot of confidence in President Lungu and the PF which other African countries are admiring.
He said entrusting affairs of the state into an inexperienced leadership will be suicidal and many Zambians will not risk voting for the opposition this time around.
Colonel Chanda said the massive development by the PF led Government will help the party win the general elections.
“Zambians should not be fooled, PF has performed and it will be irresponsible to change Government this time around” he said
Colonel Chanda has thanked Kanyama residents for the opportunity they gave him to be their representative in Parliament.
“I thank the people of Kanyama for the opportunity they gave me to serve them” Colonel Chanda

Chanda should explain why the Kanyama shanty that he represents had an outbreak of cholera as late as a month ago. How come there’s no drainage in Kanyama despite Satan mocking the people there in 2011 about needing boats – pabwato – just to get out of their homes. How come there are no starred roads in Kanyama apart from those that MMD made? PF is just full of lies, lies, lies.

Will appreciate a tabulation of what the PF has done under ECL and what they will do if elected for another term. My take is that ECL is not a leader because he cannot make a single decision. Naimwe ba Gerry mwawamako, not Chagwa umufyashi nafilwa.
Chanda your decision to support HE President Lungu is yours to keep to yourself. As for the other voters they have their own mind to make. Change is the only constant thing in life.

Politicians break their promises because voters don’t rationally punish political promise-breaking. But why do politicians want to break their promises in the first place? The simplest answer is just that circumstances change between promise time and action time. In PF’s case they will say anything to get votes with no intentions of fulfilling their promises. Do you get to go to New York on a private jet and celebrate with other Zambians there? What is your economy like and do you have jobs and are you being paid for your hard work on time every-time?
