Zambian students in China safe

Share

The Ministry of Home Affairs says no Zambian student has been affected with the current floods that have hit China.

And the Chinese Ministry of Education has assured the Zambian Embassy in Beijing, China, that it will contact the mission in the event that a Zambian student is caught up in the floods.

The Zambian Mission in China has since said it will continue to monitor the situation and give regular updates.

This is contained in a statement made available to ZANIS by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Public Relations Officer, Dorcas Chileshe.

  1. Ok Ba LT thanks for free news updates but please check some of your facts, proof read and edit. You articles starts with the Ministry of Home Affairs and then appropriately ends with Foreign Affairs. Latter looks more apt to the article though! It is good that the Ministry this time has been quite prompt to report on citizens in China. We need such pro-activeness in all situations likely to affect Zambians abroad.

  2. THE ARTICLE IS ONLY TALKING ABOUT STUDENTS SAFETY WHAT OF THE EMBASSY STAFF ARE WE NOT SUPPOSED TO WORRY ABOUT THEIR SAFETY TOO, WHAT OF ZAMBIANS WORKING IN CHINA THE LIST IS ENDLESS . I HOPE NO ONE ZAMBIAN LIFE SHALL BE AFFECTED IN CHINAS FLOODS INDEED WE ARE SAYING IF EVER FLOODS ATACK LET IT BE TO A UPND SYMPATHISER TO REDUCE THE VOTE. ALSO I MAY TAKE THIS CHANCE TO ANNOUNCE ON POLLING DAY VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE EMBASSY BUT PLEASE COME EARLY AS OUR RESULTS ARE EXPECETD IN ZAMBIA BEFORE CLOSE OF POLL DAY BY ECZ.
