UPND Conclude ‘HH Will Fix It’ Campaign in Mtendere

From our campaign launch at Kitwe’s Freedom Park in May to Mtendere’s Mahatma Gandhi Grounds today we have heard the people call for change and call for peace on 11th August 2016.

We have shared our vision of a united, prosperous and equitable Zambia with the people, and explained how we will set about realising it through delivery of the UPND’s 10 Point Plan.

We have explained what this will mean for the people, from lower food prices to children in school and jobs for our youths. We will achieve this by cutting waste at State House and fighting corruption.

This is what we are offering the Zambian people, not negativity and divisive sentiments but ideas and solutions to move Zambia forward.

We wish to thank all our supporters who have resisted provocation and borne the frustrations and obstacles put in our way during the campaign period. We appeal to you to continue on this path and ensure that we all act peacefully and calmly as we go to the polls. We want change and we want peace but through the ballot not the bullet.

As you prepare to vote, remember that your vote is your choice. UPND has a plan to protect the vote but we must turnout in numbers on 11th August to ensure a first round victory.

Hakainde Hichilema
UPND President

    • People shall be beware of Wheeler-dealers, all those ‘good at gab’ types. They sell well but once sold, never to be seen again, vanish like frogs after the rainy season.

Never Mymba- a good orator but what did he do with Church building and donor funds in Canada?

GBM, insulting statements specifically prepared for the target market, but what did he with Zesco, Army and FRA supplies?

    • FELLOW ZAMBIANS TOMORROW WE MAKE A CHOICE. THE CONTRASTS IN THESE CHOICES COULD NOT BE MORE DEFINED. ON ONE HAND WE HAVE THE FAILED GOVERNMENT OF THE PF AND ON THE OTHER HAND WE HAVE A NEW FUTURE WITH A BETTER DIRECTION. WHAT SHALL IT BE? THE LOADIST SAYS:
      CHIBE CHIBE LUNGU ALEYA.
RAIN NO RAIN PF MUST BE VOTED OUT!!!!!

    • Think about the future of your children!!!!!!!!!

This is the last for Zambians. Think about the future of your children. If Zambians make a mistake of electing Lungu, the country should brace for unbearable hardships—–Zambian economy will contract worse than 3% it is at now, inflation will be worse that 21% it is at today, load-shedding will be worse. The IMF will give Zambia tough conditions of borrowing. To fix the damage it will take Zambia 30 – 35 years. That is if a good leader is elected after Lungu.

    • What a journey! Starting from Freedom Park, Kitwe, ending at Mtendere’s (Peace) Mahatma Ghandi Grounds. Ghandi was a proponent of NON VIOLENCE.

A party that has travelled this journey is nothing but peaceful. God will continue to direct your steps. Jer 10:23.

  1. No name calling, what a summary, that is my president. God bless you, God bless Zambians.
    Vote wisely

    General Tzu-Sun.

  2. Men of wisdom speak less words and yet they are realistic and pragmatic while visionless ones speak at length and conclude by offering no pragmatic solutions but scoulding others.vote wisely.you decide your destiny and as a country we should prosper not just a few.all the best.

  3. We have always said that the UPND leader is a sadist. He privatised the mines and sold our industries and sent our many parents on the Copperbelt to early grave and again, he has done it to his fellow brothers and sisters in Namwala Southern Province where he has grabbed land from the poor.
If you don’t believe just ask what the displaced poor people and the chiefs that this crook has left in the cold to d1e are going through and yet you think he can fix anything for you?

  4. Tomorrow am voting for the future of my children. A future where people can discuss solutions to problems rationally, where young people can express their beliefs freely without fear of been stoned. Where men and women have respect for laws. Happy voting dear Zambians. God bless you all.

  5. @5why say that let us wait for 2Moro unlike making assumptions, we will know if they have or not

  6. This is Presidential material, great way to end the campaign.

Now compare to how the other side ended their campaign:

“HH and GBM wants to be President to recoup their money-President Lungu”

    What does this tell you??

  7. Some of us in PF now are now just relaxing with jemason just waiting for tomorrow to cast a vote on our beloved president and ALL our aspiring candidates in honour of our late beloved King Co ran

This is the last for Zambians. Think about the future of your children. • @Blago, I can never entrust the future of my children in a human being especially one who looks down on poor & has chosen an insulting & violent thug to work with him. The future of my children is in the proposed Bill of rights which I can sue GRZ upon not mere words from a politician. I can’t stake my life on those lies. In addition the economy or money is not everything. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The Lord is already guiding us. There is no value those 2 UPND leaders & PF rejects who were behind infamous SI 33 can add. God forbid!

  10. Vote for Lungu! That will teach Zambians a lesson they will NEVER forget.

We endured 27 years of KK dictatorship, and it bankrupted a once prosperous Zambia and the results can be seen today in the childhood malnutrition that has now reached adulthood.

Levy Mwanawasa bailed us out and arranged the cancellation of the kaloba Zambia owed. Bless his soul! he put us on the path to recovery. Today we are enjoying the fruits of his labours.

Lungu is going REVERSE and we have to go to the IMF to save us from becoming another basket case like Zimbabwe. Is this what you want for your children? The time to decide is NOW!

Make no mistake tomorrow. Vote for a great future for your children. Vote for a strong and secure Zambia. Vote for progress.

Tell this drunk crook we do not want any…

  11. PF COLLAPSES! KAMBWILI ANNOUNCES HIS LAST MINUTE RESIGNATION FROM PF AND FORMS HIS OWN POLITICAL PARTY.
Reports reaching us indicate that Former Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili has resigned from PF with imeadeate effect and has since formed his own party called the Economic Progress Party (EPP). Confirming his resignation, PF Kabushi aspiring MP Bowman Lusambo said Mr Kambwili will officially tender his resignation letter to the PF president Edgar Lungu before Friday next week. Other PF sources on the copper-belt says Mr Kambwili has managed to convince every aspiring MP on the Copperbelt to join his party next week as he believes President Lungu has no chance of winning tomorrow’s elections.

The resignation of Mr Kambwili came in the wake of his self conviction that the…

  12. Let’s wait, the preaching are loud and clear from both parties but with less conviction from the UPND. Its only desperation and this can be seen from un workable manifesto to unrealistic 10 point plan of free education without explaining on the opportunity cost.8 bags of fertilizer without explaining the opportunity cost.Let’s see from the story teller, the dreamers, the UPND,dramatist. To tell you the truth for the UPND 10 point plan to work,it will mean govt shouldn’t employee, health sector not to be funded, roads stopped, civil service restructured or redundancies. The man worked with chiluba and he knows how to convince desperate individuals. The same way chiluba convinced some people to vote him due to desperation, your desperation has made you blind to think HH and GBV means well for…

  13. Just to to recoup something from my Znbc TV levy, may they play me Nasty D’s ” Dziko Ya mutendere” song.

This may show you that according to divine plan the election should go to those who finished the rally in mtendere, still Chawama, even if they cancelled.

  14. Having lungu in power it will be hell to us zambians . People lets wake up to vote out lungu so that we tell all polititions in our mother zambia that we have come to understand that when the ruling part fails in the first term we are easily to kick them out of office.Lets wake up zambians to save our children’s future.Zambia is unique, let’s not be taken to the direction where zimbabwe is and is going. Remember , its today to decide.
