UPND legal counsel Martha Mushipe has demanded that ECZ director Pricila Isaacs and two others steps down from their positions for colluding with the PF to rig the elections.
Ms Mushipe who bitterly exchanged words with ECZ Public Relations Manager Chris Akufuna said Ms Isaacs, Mr Kasaro and a third person whom she did not mention were linked to Samuel Chavula the man arrested for gaining access to the ECZ Sever room.
Ms Mushipe said the three were working together as Chavula had indicated that he was working with ECZ officials.
She accused the ECZ of changing some results in favor of the PF saying the elections will be petitioned in the event that UPND loses the polls.
She also demanded that a source document called the GEN 12 be made accessible to the parties as the credibility of election results relies on the same document being available to all parties.
Meanwhile Chris Akufuna furiously told Ms Mushipe to stop abusing the ECZ officials as the courtesy extend to party officials to ask questions was meant to facilitate for interaction and not an opportunity for abusing them.
He said those who felt they were not being listened to should find other alternatives as opposed to being abusive to the officials who were just doing their job.
He said no one will get anything from shouting.
Tempers at Mulungushi were the ECZ is totalling and announcing the presidential results are rising as it seems the results are taking long to be announced.

Counting around 3 million presidential votes should not take days in the 21st Century! I think HH needs to be commended for putting up a spirited campaign and explaining to electorates his vision of what he intended do once in power. However, it is now clear that the urban voters in the Copperbelt and Lusaka Provinces which represent 33% of registered voters on roll have rejected UPND. In 2011, Sata won because Lusaka and Copperbelt Provinces voted for him and all he needed was minimal penetration into Eastern Province a Rupiah Banda stronghold. HH should blame himself for not addressing the issue of GBV and giving GBM a free hand in insulting. UPND PVT is in absolute disarray; HH should prepare to concede defeat instead of relying on people with poor numerical skills. Secondly none of the people that defected to UPND have won a seat. Sontapo has carried the day!

There is nothing that Chulu has done to pacify many doubting stakeholders who believe that Chulu cannot act professionally and impartially to deliver to Zambia a clean election. From the results posted at Polling Stations across the country we know that HH has won this election outright and Chulu is trying to cook election results to create a non-existent Run Off or declare Lungu the Winner of this election even though we know he has…

The country appears to be going through the same incompetence of delayed results over and over again and again. Is it incompetence or working overtime to manipulate the outcome of the election? With only 6 million registered voters with only at max 75% voting, why does it take an entire week to release results. In other countries like UK or here in Australia, they have more voters and yet more often than not, results are usually known within a matter of hours after voting closes. The delay would usually be those seats that go to the wire, and they require post early votes to separate them.
As for PF cadres how easily you forget how Sata used to complain about the same delayed results?
