  1. Teti fichitike! Nowhere in Africa can this happen! First he allowed the petition to go without being sworn in, the petitioners went to court, aleloleshafye, the judge exetended hearing beyond 14days, aleloleshafye, the court has dismissed the petition nafuti aleloleshafye?? Yangu!

    • Some Zambians are more Zambians than others. In the next 100 Years, NO KACHOKWE, KALUNDA, KALUVALE, KAONDE, LOZI, TONGA, LENJE ILA etc will EVER rule ZAMBIA. The events of the last 3 weeks have demonstrated that Presidency is a reserve of NER tribes. Leaders from KACHOKWE, KALUNDA, KALUVALE, KAONDE, LOZI, TONGA, LENJE ILA tribes are not good enough because of their origins.

Even when they campaign, State machinery will be used to make their campaigns difficult.

Even if they get majority votes, ECZ will stop them by cooking up numbers.

Even if they petition at KangCourt, all submissions will be thrown out without any justification.

BEST IS TO SPLIT THE COUNTRY INTO TWO. WE CAN’T BE LED ALL THE TIME.

    • We are proud Zambians with an enduring culture of constitutionalism in a thriving democracy. Felicitations and peace to the President of Zambia His Excellency ECL! God grant you more wisdom and patience.

    • Iwe Marie-Anne Walifulungana nangu ulapepa Ulubangula, is your brain full of mandrax or cocain? what tribe was Mwanawasa and one of the would be great President of Zambia Anderson Mazoka? What tribe is Inonge Wina? Before you Butt down on a tribal stool thiiiiiiiink thrice……. don’t immerse yourself in apathy foolishly.

  2. Badala ba HH aba ninzi aba…enhya!!! ba GBM makani taali kabotu..
UPND move on to stand elections another day, your lawyers let you dawn they had no winning strategy from the beginning.
    Naizanda

  3. Mr. HH we told you, this is not your time. 2021 you might win. Thank you Sir, you tries. Nomba SELENI TUBOMBEKO. THIS GOOSE IS COOKED…

    • @Kachana Banda and all PF supporters.

      Congratulations on victory.

Now its time for you to work and work hard. We in UPND has campaign songs which demonized PF for:
      corruption
grand theft (ECL stole more than K23 m we claimed)
      unprecedented borrowings
      high taxes
hunger and poverty (mu PF kunwa menshi….mumala mulelila mbulu mbulu)
      youth unemployment
      pensions unpaid
      etc

You say tusele mubombeko…..finshi mwalabomba? Is it just to deceive people by saying sontapo on kaloba projects, giving people trading places at a fee in shop corridors and telling them that you will chase Indians and allow them into shops?

What will you do now that the country is broke?

    • To HH and UPND leadership.

Commiserations on this setback or loss. But you are still alive and a living dog is better than a dead lion according to the Bible.

ECL is President, my President and your President for FIVE full years. Don’t disturb his reign but causing unnecessary cacophony.

My advice is that you quickly go for a convention and sort out leadership problems which beset UPND. This is evident in the shambolic handling even of the petition. And bwana HH, please tone down lest you be labelled bitter. You are a rich man many times over than ECL will ever be. So chill and reflect on perhaps a different route to serve society?

    • To UPND supporters and Funders.

      I understand you disappointment.

My advice to you. Be like the Americans and British. Don’t change parties simply because you have lost.

Stay the course and change the UPND leadership. They are your servants and not the other way round.

Both GBM and HH are exceptionally rich and they don’t need political jobs. So don’t fear to challenger their leadership on account of failing in this election. Why shouldn’t they resign?

Your task is to choose a team that will appeal to the entire electoral body. Keep the provinces you hold, Central, Southern, Western and North Western and woo the Bemba/East vote.

Don’t despair, we are One Zambi, One Nation. So absolutely NO violence!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • And now to me and my family and close friends.

We are disappointed that HH/GBM haven’t made it to State House/Govt House. We prayed and voted. God know why this has happened. We trust God more than our feelings and events.

We supported UPND and still remain lifelong staunchest supporters because we believe this party can do more to help Zambia. We do not believe in tribalism as our family is a cocktail of the major tribes especially the two ‘arch enemies’ Tonga/Bemba and yet we are the very make up of these at core….lol.

So no sweat for us as we do not drink the tribal hemlock…..

We have started campaigning inside UPND to cleanse itself so that it puts a better putsch to the Presidency in 2021.

God bless Zambia. God Bless the President of Zambia, EC Lungu…

  4. this is not only affecting the two mind you they are better in they pockets .they just wanted to revamp the economy were to see it to be bad. Wish all the two parties to embrace each other for the sake of our mother zambia

  5. Dr. Msiska, is that the way you issue a Press Statement, really? OR, are there TWO Roland Msiskas (Drs.) at Cabinet Office. For Heaven’s sake, whatever one writes as Secretary to the Cabinet, must be impeccable!!!; in every sense of the word. This is quite mediocre, to say the least, and downright shameful.

    • So, what did you want him to write? You wanted him to fabricate and write what is not there, then you quote him? Or you wanted him to start by saying sorry to Hechi Hechi? During elections, there is always one voted for, and one voted against – meaning after the process there will always be a winner on one side and a loser on the other, period. The PF used to concede each time they lost; take a leaf from that. It’s time to move on, my dearest.

    • Same observation. He did the same when he issued that statement about the President not handing power to the Speaker. How can one quote himself. He issues his own statements in the third person and then signs them. Weird writing style to come from such a high level govt office.

  6. Zambia will remain backward always. An alcoholic moronic leader who is led by Banda, and Mugabe. Zambians, get ready for load shedding and debt. The concourt is a disgrace. We will forever see these incompetent judges with their surly faces as destroying democracy. How much was their integrity worth, just changing their minds at every point. South Africa will take over this visionless country.

  7. Congratulations my aunt Bo Inonge. Like St Paul says in Timothy, you have run a successful race. Wishing you success as you advance our women folk.

  8. CONGRATULATIONS YOUR EXCELLENCIES PRESIDENT EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU AND VICE PRESIDENT MA INONGE WINA.
EVEN THE NAME RHYMES WITH WINNING- WINA.
TULI BONSE MU DEVELOPMENT YA CALO.

  9. O dear, due to EXPIRY OF TIME? Msiska…Jiggle yo Brains a bit:
“…John Adams was also very critical of the Pennsylvania frame of
government. Benjamin Rush recalled about Adams:
So great was his disapprobation of a government composed of a single
legislature, that he said to me upon reading the first constitution of
Pennsylvania “The people of your state will sooner or later fall upon
their knees to the King of Great Britain to take them again under his
protection, in order to deliver them from the tyranny of their own
government.” – INFLUENCES OF PENNSYLVANIA’S 1776 CONSTITUTION; the sport of dead-horse riding aMsiska gives NO DAMN whether it’s horse or rider that IS DEAD 🙂

  10. I feel for our great nation. Who will deliver us from impunity, poverty, ignorance and luck of understanding. The so called civic leaders have failed us to a no returning point. I really look forward to a day when the civic leaders will be able to educate our citizens on their rights as owners of this country. If the 70% of our voters don’t know what they are entitled to I feel we’re wasting our time. People need to be educated on what they are entitled to by civic leaders in order for them to make an informed decision. The whole petition to me was like a drill if you know what I mean. Thank you to you all guys who shared your thoughts. We still got more work ahead…let’s keep on checking on the imbalances of our current government. I personally value you all. Let’s keep the fire…

    • If educating is telling them to vote for a particular candidate, then you are wasting your time. Votes are secret and one can dish out money without knowing what the electorate is doing in the booth. So just reorganize your political organization and stop insulting yourself

    • Iwe mbuzi. Contact a radical group over such? Think before you write rubbish. You think the people in Syria and Yemen are having a walk through park? !diot.

  11. much as i like the fact that we have moved past this petition hurdle,i feel the court should never have tolerated the petitioners request and turn around to throw the whole case out.Its like they questioned their judgement themselves of giving more time to the case. But like Chipimo put it,this new constitution has brought a lot of confusion that even judges are confused about it.RIP hh.

  12. Conguratulations my President E C L wishing you all the best & God guidance not forgetting boma bo Inonge God bless our mother Zambia.

  13. Final Quote:

    Final Quote:

“History affords us many instances of the ruin of states, by the prosecution of measures ill suited to the temper and genius of their people. The ordaining of laws in favor of one part of the nation, to the prejudice and oppression of another, is certainly the most erroneous and mistaken policy. An equal dispensation of protection, rights, privileges, and advantages, is what every part is entitled to, and ought to enjoy… These measures never fail to create great and violent jealousies and animosities between the people favored and the people oppressed; whence a total separation of affections, interests, political obligations, and all manner of connections, by which the whole state is weakened.

    Benjamin Franklin, Emblematical Representations, Circa…

    • …Beware the Ides of September aLungu and ALL that have mocked Providence and the blood of our fallen heroes !!

  14. And so its a pay day for the petitioner lawyers, had the Under 5 listened, he wouldn’t be in this mess. HH is too pompous for nothing and these are the results, FAILURE!

  15. I find it funny that people can laugh at a rich man when they themselves are struggling to make ends meet because of the reckless Government we have in place. Its really strange especially that people on this site are well aware of the fact that we are facing a deficit due to lack of planning among many reasons. A bloated cabinet, lawlessness at the councils and bus stops. I ask myself “do we live in the same country?” i fail to understand how people are unable to see the hunger an poverty that I see everyday. Its a shame that even the knowledgeable get carried away with dununa reverse. Celebrating for ECL who has his future taken care of meanwhile you are failing to send your children to school. May God open our blind eyes
    Reply

    • Please renounce your citizenship including your Supreme Leader HH…No one will care and who told you that HH will share his riches which he amassed during the privatisation programme…HH will continue suffering in pain despite his ill gotten riches until he repents…

    • I didn’t say I will share in his wealth but rather his vision that ECL lacks. I believe stolen money doesn’t last, while you are at it please explain the increase in wealth in one year from 11m to 23m and why LAZ had revoked his practising licence

    • @kaluwa. DO NOT EXAGGERATE PEOPLES POVERTY. MAYBE IT IS YOU WHO IS POOR. HOWEVER EVEN IF WE ARE POOR, WE DO NOT THINK THAT IT IS HH WHO WILL DELIVER US. NOT EVEN ONCE. I WOULD RATHER BE POOR WITH ECL THAN TO DIE WITH HH.

  16. Edgar Lungu has never won an election. Proper LISHOLI. He has no shame. Your reign is doomed. You will be President who will never be respected even by Zambian dogs. LISHOLI.

  17. No time wasters! The end of reign of the named opposition leader unless there are no credible individuals within that same party to take the mantle for better things in that party.

  18. Conguratulations my President E C L wishing you all the best & God guidance not forgetting boma bo Inonge God bless our mother Zambia

  19. It is a shame that ECZ has been exposed the way they steal votes in conjunction with the courts.Stolen votes will never make one proud and the lord we serve will deliver the judgment for us.
    Shame on Zambia.
Where on earth are cadres allowed to camp at the courts without being arrested and the police is observing?
Shame on you. This is not victory to celebrate but to languish.
We have our President who won that is HH and not Lungu.

  20. When God says” YES” no one can say “NO”. I sympathise with Dr. Mumba Nervous whom many have likened to Jonah on the Bible. Some of the dirty language coming out of hi mouth are hard to believe. A man who was once so spiritually powerful to sink so low, its unbelievable. God is watching & will ask him questions some day!

  21. Well well done your Excellency for your victory, not your own but our all victory for Zambians……….stay blessed!

From your friends in Livingstone 2016

  22. HH can have money but never will he have a peace of mind for the money he acquired wasn’t genuine? Lesa tabepwa let him repent to all wrongs he has done and wait for The Lord Almighty. Ifipelwa na Lesa takwaba kulwishya? Fisafye apatalala tondolo. Epompele…!

  23. We have just missed an opportunity in HH to turn this country into a prosperous country. We are now in for a long haul of lawlessness, confusion, pandemonium, corruption of the waste order. To you people who are celebrating the throwing out of the petition, you are building Lungu into a monster who in future will turn his wrath on you and you will regret this.

    • @Lungu. SORRY, MANY OF US (50% + 13,000) HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING IN HH THAT SHOULD WARRANT HIM THE PRESIDENCY. SORRY, IN A DEMOCRACY YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THE WILL OF THE MAJORITY. AND CONTINUE EATING YOUR SOUR GRAPES.

  24. One signal that has come out of this election result is that there must be something big that made Lungu to take it that no matter what he just needed to be in power. This is not a signal that can be ignored. Let us leave him have the power. So far five presidents have come and gone and this conduct of uncle lungu is very unprecedented and strange. There’s something behind his conduct. someone cant even say because he is scared of court cases, no. all the former presidents apart from the ones who died in power had court cases. KK had Scotland yard investigate him, remember chiluba’s cases, remember RBs cases. they never went anywhere and even for him if he had any cases they were not going to go anywhere. there should just be something very big that made him say to himself do or die…

  25. It is about the tribe but what one has done for the nation. Mwanawasa got the highest number of votes from Luapula and Northern provinces. Icibuba, during the fight against one party state rule. Mwanawasa defended the defenceless at no fee, stood for the poor while some people currently are grabbing land from the poor, privatized the mines and became rich over night, the cries of those who lost jobs were heard by God. The other one busy beating up workers, even wives, boasting how rich he is. They have nothing to Sontapo. Mwanawasa had something to Sonta. Identify yourselves with the poor in society then people will appreciate you otherwise the chapter is closed for you guys.
