Czech Republic President Miloš Zeman has said he firmly believes that the relations that exist between Zambia and Czech Republic will further develop and deepen in the spirit of friendship.
President Zeman said in a message of congratulations to President Edgar Lungu on his re-election as President that the relations will also further be strengthened in the mutual interest of the two countries’ political, economic and development cooperation.
The Czech Republic President wished President Lungu good health and success in fulfilling his work for the benefit of the Zambian people.
“Excellency, may l extend to you my most sincere congratulations on your re-election as President of the Republic of Zambia,” President Zeman said.
In another congratulatory message, German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel said, with the peaceful and orderly election, the Zambian voters have once again upheld their democratic tradition.
The German Chancellor said President Lungu’s aim was now to strengthen national unity, together with all civilian and political forces, and to address the challenges Zambia is facing.
Dr Merkel acknowledged that the President has already identified the fight against poverty, energy issues, economic diversification and good governance as other important issues to tackle.
The German Chancellor echoed President Joachim Gauck’s assurance that Germany will continue to be a reliable partner for Zambia.
“Mr President, please accept my sincere congratulations on your election as President of the Republic of Zambia. I wish you every success in fulfilling the responsibilities of your high office,” the German Chancellor said.
And United States (US) Secretary of State John F. Kerry has described the re-election of President Lungu as a testament to the Zambian people that they have once again exercised their democratic right to decide who their leaders should be.
Mr Kerry in his congratulatory message to President Lungu expressed sincere hope that the governments of Zambia and US will continue to build on their deep friendship by expanding trade and investment between the two countries.
The US Secretary of State also hoped that the two countries will broaden their collaboration in health, education, economic development, security, and good governance.
The US Secretary of State is confident that President Lungu’s government will work to represent all Zambians in a spirit of unity and reconciliation, for the sake of Zambia’s economic and democratic development.
“Congratulations on your re-election as Zambia’s President. It is a testament to the people of Zambia that they have once again exercised their democratic right to decide who their leaders should be. Once again, please accept my congratulations at the start of your next term as President,” Mr Kerry said.

nowhere else are these messages posted. Usually such announcements are posted on embassy web sites or tweet accounts or also carried in other world media.
But no, not lungus alleged endosments , you will never find them anywhere on the Web except LT and ZNBC and daily nation
may be they are in secrete documents.
One can only wounder.

Sweden and Finland on Wednesday demanded the return of $34 million from the Zambia National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU) amid allegations of misappropriation.
David Wiking, the deputy head of bilateral development cooperation at the Swedish embassy, said audits at the union had revealed money misused and stolen by senior ZNFU officials.
“The accounting report which the ZNFU produced when queried cannot be relied on because it is not supported by documentary evidence to support the claim and was marred with serious contradictions,” he told a news conference in Lusaka.
Speaking on behalf of both countries, Wiking added that auditors did not have full access to accounting…
