Kafue District to get a Children Eye Hospital

Lions Club International, President Robert Corlew has laid a foundation stone for the construction for a Children Referral Eye Hospital in Kafue District in Lusaka province.

The eye hospital will be at Pande area in the district at the cost of 3.4 million United States dollars.

Speaking when during the laying of the foundation stone at the site , Mr. Corlew said the hospital will help a lot of disabled children especially the blind and those with eye problems.

Mr. Corlew stated there are many children who come from poor families who cannot afford to pay medical bills hence the need for them to embark on the project.

He further stated that the hospital will comprise of medical expertise who will offer surgery to render help to children with sight challenges in the country.

  1. Lions club international thnx for your consistency support you are really a blessing to Zambia but not to worry we are soon yet to know your benefits from your so called charity works.

    • Why don’t you try to get to know through your local Lions Clubs International District Governor what you think you want to know than adding some mystery with your ……”not to worry we are soon yet to know your benefits from your so called charity works.” There is no material benefit to Lions Clubs International for its charity works! If anything like any service oriented organization that aids the community it is established in its major benefit is the satisfaction of being of some needed services to the community well being. I know among Zambians everything they don’t understand or try to make an effort to get to know about is regarded to be of clandestine motive! Just tells you the level of intelligence among the citizenry!
