  1. Such events should be taken full advantage of by our tourism promoters. A number of celebrities visit our Falls but you never hear a thing from the Ministry of tourism. This is when they should boast loudly to the whole world about our wonders!!! The other day it was Arnold Schwarzenegger watching the sunset by the Falls with a thick cigar. A lot of Zambians have never even bothered to see the magnificent mighty Falls a few kilometers away when others travel thousands of kilometers for a once-in-a-life-time experience!!! The packaging of our tourism potential leaves much to be desired. Individual (foreign) tour operators are making such an effective impact on foreign tourists. They do lucrative business for themselves right here under our noses. Ife ni ndwiiii!!!

    • Despite the best efforts of the diseased and mad Hungry Hyena and his sa.tan.ic followers such as wanka like lilo and co, their hopeless and failed campaign to tarnish Zambia continues to fail!

Zambia continues to be a number 1 tourist destination!

God bless Zambia and thank you Mr Smith for visiting the real Africa real pure beauty!

    • They can only do that if there is a workshop for them at Siavonga and they share world bank loans as allowances. Kikikikiki.

    • @Naomi: True, just that our tourism board is quite weak. they have no clear strategy. they need to innovate and push tourists traffic in to Zambia. Zambia has to diversify and tourism can help with the Economic growth

    • Naomi, I Cant agree with you more than this. Actually. The Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board are a shame. The Tourism Board needs overhaul. Those Directors have over stayed and they cant think and be innovative any more. Our neighbor Botswana. Kasane with its tourism looks much more attractive.

    • Yes my brother, oval head was also on the queue but was advised not to jump cause he had swallowed a lot of mabisi.

    • Iwe HH OVAL HEAD be respectful of our paramount chiefs – Don’t use bad words as “Sh****ted”
      – The Miners would say “He misfired a blast drill hole”.
      – The Armed Forces would say “He backfired his Bazooka using very soft charge”.

  2. Put this on CNN. I Know it will cost you 50,000 dollars, but it is worth it. Does the Zambia National Tourism Board exist?

    • Iwe, I am in the USA and we watched Will Smith on ESPN, but the reporters kept on saying Zimbabwe not Zambia. Is isn’t the bungee jumping on the Zimbabwe side? I don’t get why Zimbabwe always gets credit for the Victoria Falls this side of the continent maybe because our useless Zambian Embassy in DC are just drinking and collecting free salaries instead advertizing Zambia and bring more tourists to Zambia.

  3. Will Smith had planned on staying in Zambia longer but when he was briefed on the security situation and dictatorship under lungu he left the same night. Zambia continue to lose out from tourism due to the bad leadership under lungu

  4. Zambia needs to be careful with how Zimbabwe operates wrt Victoria Falls. International media was awash with this news but claiming that Will Smith was visiting Zimbabwe to fulfill his lifelong dream to bungee jump on the bridge. But we all know that he landed & was staying on Zambian side. The bridge is on noman’s land. Zimbabweans are also known to claim that the falls are on their side & discourage tourists arriving on their side of the boarder from crossing over. While not advocating for conflict with our neighbors I think we should be switched on as Zambia. We should be 1st to broadcast this news internationally. Wakeup ZNTB, ZNBC etc

    • Yes bro you are correct in this one. I was perplexed the time I was in south Africa to hear them advertise the Victoria falls as being in that country. What is znbt doing. Even internet says Victoria falls is in zimbo and yet we’ve people occupying offices at znbt who can correct it.

  5. Next we want to see lungu and kaiser zulu bungee jumping without the rope

    • Oh! what’s the definition of news? I have just seen this item / clip today and the content is still relevant.

Somebody out there will see it later than i….pheww!

  6. “the Chosen one.. you are 100% correct..my heart bleeds to see how Zimbabwean tourism is being marketed in Australia at the expense of the Zambian one… they claim vic falls is theirs these fools.. in fact they put it as if zambezi river is in Zimbabwe..anyway its the fault of the ZTB which in my view is idle and have no vision to promote the larger curtain of the falls and what Zambia has to offer to boost tourism..what a shame!!! Thanks Will Smith, you are the real African- American..

  7. What does one do if the PS of tourism is that PAstor Doctor called Liya Nawa Mutale and the Miister is some Charles Nincompoop Banda?

  8. I also have to jump….look ZTB how that company is promoting the falls even its staff know the drill, they are very enthusiastic and know that its a once in lifetime experience for the visitor.
Good job guys…keep it up will visit soon!!

  9. Go to google and google Victoria falls and you will contact information on wikipedia with Zimbabwe phone numbers and that’s because of the useless Zambian tourism board that is failing to tap into the falls and advertise it on the Zambian side.

  10. Wow nice Mr. Smith for visiting the Siamese twins. Zam & Zim. The problem of advertising the Victoria falls has been the fight between National Heritage Conservation Commission(NHCC) & the Tourism Council. NHCC claims Victoria falls to be a historical site hence them calling shorts. The other one has no local capacity in Livingstone and depended mostly on DeadBC, specifically the two journalists, Lackson Tani & Faith Kandaba (MHSRIP). I think lets woke up Zambia. Will smith was a big visitor for us. either you like it or not. Remember him in the fresh Prince Air of belle, MIB and the songs. I wish they had announced his coming more people would have flocked to Livingstone just to have a glimpse of the guy. In so doing the city would have made some more money in hotel bookings, meals…

  11. That is good for our tourism industry but, someone should quickly replace those worn out ropes before lives are lost. Its a disaster in waiting, we can not continue using those ropes and expect all to be well in the near future. Personally can’t go on that bungy its a big risk.
