    • Ladies and Gentlemen, your Tithe at work for Bishop imakando while you rent a room in a Kalingalinga.

    • ‘Religion is the opium of the people’. And some so called believers will on Sunday go and give him more money in the name of tithe. Meanwhile these same ‘believers’ become poorer and poorer while their ‘Men of God'( Who are infact Men of Gold) become richer and richer.

    • To think that Jesus said it is easier for a carmel to enter the eye of a needle than a rich man……
Then you realise that most of these pastors are on many countries rich list makes you wonder which Christ they claim to follow!
Go then on Sunday and take all your money to them after all they will buy expense cars and private jets then can and show of to you as to mock you!
Stupid people have you no eyes? The kingdom of Godvis not about wealth! He already created everything he doesn’t need your money just your heart!

    • @MyZambia, I don’t see anything aesthetically remarkable about this structure other than the tall pillars!

Drive anywhere around Lusaka; John Howard, Chalala, Kalingalinga, Salama Park, Nyumba Yanga, N’gombe, Chudleigh, kwa Kamanga, Sunningdale, kwa George and you will find exactly this type of architecture.

Or maybe it means there are a lot of ‘talented’ architects in Zambia…

    • Your tithe money at work. The man has grown a very large belly, drives Mercedes, has now built himself a mansion while you are wallowing in poverty and busy typing “Amen” and Sharing on Facebook.

    • Give, give, give God will bless you!!!
Tithe, Tithe to the kingdom of God.
Jesus can not dwell in such a mansion. That’s my judgement

    • WOW! UMUTULO WAYA KU NGANDA. HAVING SAID THAT THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE. I HOPE THAT MORE ZAMBIANS CAN EMMULATE THE STANDARDS IN CONSTRUCTING HOUSE AS SEEN ON THESE PICTURES.

    • IN ANY CASE THIS IS JUST MINIMALLY AND DOWN TO EARTH HOUSE BETWEEN A MEDIUM AND HIGH COST TOWN HOUSE. IT ISN’T THAT OUTRAGIOUS. BUT WHERE IS NEVERS MUMBA’S HOUSE. DIDN’T HE COLLECT ENOUGH TITHE TO BUILD HIMSELF A PAD? PRETTY SURE NEVERS WOULDN’T LOVE TO SEE NAMAKANDO’S ACHIEVEMENT- HE WOULD WANT TO COMMIT SUICIDE. HE EVEN USED THE EMBASSY IN CANADA TO MAKE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF US DOLLARS, HE COULDN’T EVEN BUILD ELO AKABOBA MU KALINGALINGA. I AM PRETTY SURE NOW HE IS JUST BEGGING FROM HH.

  1. Ok, Nice Big House and Nice Big Church! BUT COULD YOU PLEASE START INVESTING IN PROPERTIES THAT COULD HAVE EVEN WIDER IMPACT THAN HOUSES like building a COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY TO EDUCATE PEOPLE OR BUILDING A HEALTH FACILITY TO ADDRESS SOME OF OUR HEALTH CHALLENGES! Catholics invest and have educated many people. If the Church in Zambia has to make an impact in people’s lives IT HAS TO START MINISTERING TO THE PEOPLE’s SOCIAL NEEDS AS WELL BEYOND THE USUAL SPIRITUAL ONES!!

    • I SECOND YOU MY DEAR. GOD WILL NOT LET YOU SUFFER WHEN YOU SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS THEN ALL YOUR DESIRES OF YOUR HEART SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.
BISHOP PLEASE AMUKALIFE, BUILD A WONDERFUL SEMINARY FOR PASTORS TO BE AND ALSO CHURCH BUILDING IN THE RURAL AREAS AND GOD SHALL BLESS YOU MORE.

    • You’re a too blind to see, threatening you that you stealing from God and you give and he builds houses and you say he is better off than PF thugs. My friend you got eyes but you can’t see and you have ears yet you can’t hear. Wake they are stealing from the poor. Proud PF

  2. Ignorant blind men and women with sight but unable to see through deceit. That is what you get out of your hard earned Kwacha, making rich a lazy and boastful so called pastor, while you just dream of one owning such kind of properties.

  3. @ Bwafyaa

You are spot on. 100% right

These churches that aim at enriching one person defeat the logic of serving humanity.

That`s why am Catholic for GGGGGGGG.

    • Totally agreed. Jesus healed the sick and fed the hungry. Translate that into the 21st century and the church should be catering to the poor and underprivileged. These pentes concentrate on praying for wealth for themselves without any works of charity and mercy.

  4. Hypocrites!! Can Jesus live like this. Poor people from kalingalinga give offering every Sunday and you show off over people money.

  5. This is what I tell people who criticise those RSA and Nigerian Prophets…there is no difference between a bishop and them…everyone of them is selling the same product because you are too lazy and docile to research.
Wake up from your folly and study about self!!

  6. Why get upset? This is just one of the good works our own architects have done and we must be grateful. For the servant of God, you have no right to condemn and boast about being a member that church and not that one. Those are your choices! We give God glory and honour for the grace given to one Zambian preach with a credible testimony – Bishop Imakando. This investment is one of those things we must be doing for our children’s children. In heaven there are better mansions than this. Don’t become so angry with what he has achieved. Are you born again? Congrats bishop and Chengo for the good job.

  7. GENESIS 14:20
And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
    LEVITICUS 27:30
And all the tithe of the land, [whether] of the seed of the land, [or] of the fruit of the tree, [is] the LORD’S: [it is] holy unto the LORD.
    MALACHI 3:8
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].

    Therefore,…

  8. I called HH on 1st April and pretended to be Trump. Sorry HH it was f00lz day.

  9. Therefore, I will always be paying my tithe and Offering, whatever the Man of God use that money for is not my business. I only need to do my part thus so.
Even if I starve for paying tithe I’m happy that way than to be in sin.

  10. Man im in the wrong profession. From Zimbabwe to Zambia the largest mansions are now owned by priests. What happened to being humbled?

    • I wish you lived during the time of king Solomon then you would understand the fact that silver and gold belong to God. if gold and silver belong to God then why shouldnt his servants be rich. or is it sin for a man of God to be rich.

  11. What a standard of achievement I hope Mr Imakando is not demeaning the people he leads on behalf of God. If that standard has become part of your gospel today, I would lament “Who has bewitched you” to steal from people and God?. Imakando knows it better and was well exposed to the truth. But in case he has forgotten, on the last day, those that were entrusted to lead others shall be judged more stricter than the led.
God is never mocked, save souls from the evil one and not build a house to impress people and divert from your calling. There are more splendorous houses out there than the one you pride on and respond to God’s call with humbleness.

  12. Only God can judge. If the tithes that pipo of God take to church a wrongly applied then it is upto God to judge.I would not encourage pipo of God to stop paying tithe as they have played there part as Christians. The rest is for God to handle.

  13. 1. Unveiling” is the wrong word. This word is used for works that have been hidden from the public eye. You can say Mr. Chengo unvieled the plans. But the building has already been in the public domain.
    2. The Rainwater down pipes could have been positioned better.
    3. The patterning of the paving is Garish. Remember the KISS Rule – Keep it simple stupid or keep it stupidly simple?
    4. It really a modest home, not unlike many owned by Botswana Civil Servants

  14. you chaps, bishop imakando got a huge loan from stanbic bank to build trinity park around mass media. he is still paying the loan. it is part of his revenue, less debt service, that he has used to build this house.

the man can be trusted and the ban gave him good conditions for his loan.

stop attack and do your research, jealousy animals

    • So how does a bank give out a loan to a bishop…is he basing his repayments on how many docile foools walk through his door and give out money!!

  15. It’s time churches started paying taxes. Tithe is not meant for self-agrandiosement! How many orphanages, schools and hospitals does bread of life run? There are three people you can’t advise – Arsenal supporter, a girl in love and a believer who follows a false prophet / prosperity preacher! This preacher is of this world.

  16. are you saying a bishop should leave in squalor? He didn’t just get that house today, the man was a banker before for many years and has been a pastor for over 25 years, hats how long it has taken him to have that house. At least even the congregants can see how beautiful their church is and also the bishops house. You cant quantify the impact he has had on all the people over these 25 years in ministry. Yet when politicians build such house aty mwaume, you have NEz busy praising the house of HH but when a pastor house a house you criticize

    • This is from Christian scripture: “I’ll say it again–it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”

  17. Chabvuta chabe.this is like hh’s privatisation benefits in another way.is he a certain party’s follower?

  18. It is amazing the ignorance of these posts to assume that the good Bishop took tithe money to do this house.

  19. I GIVE GOD THE GLORY AND HONOUR FOR THIS GREAT ACHIEVEMENT HIS GRACE THE BISHOP. AM SO HAPPY, WHEN YOU UNDERSTND AUTHORITY, POWER, RICHES WE HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS AND THE DOMINION GIVEN TO US THROUGH THE CROSS, YOU WILL REALISE THAT WE ARE SEATED WITH GOD IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES OF AUTHORITY AND WE POWER TO DO ANYTHING. PAUL SAYS IN PHILIPPIANS 4:13 THAT I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. BISHOP THANK YOU DAD FOR BEING AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU PREACH.

MY BRETHRENS HAVE A POSITIVE MIND AND KNOW THE SOURCE OF YOUR WEALTH. WHAT YOU MAY SAY ALL THINK, THE BOTTOM LINE IS GOD IS THE SOURCE. DAVID SAID I WAS YOUNG BUT NOW AM OLD. HAVE NEVER SEEN THE CHILD OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN BEG FOR BREAD. DAD YOU ARE THE ONE DAVID WAS TALKING ABOUT. BLESS YOU DAD AND LONG LIFE TO YOU…

  20. Why would you think a servant of God who has served Him faithfully can’t deserve such a house? Praise the Lord Bishop.

Tithe was instituted by God in OT and Bishop Imakando’s teaching about it fulfils God’ mandate as a committed and faithful preacher. Believers give to God. Bishop gets his salary through the accountability of church treasurer and administrators. So he doesn’t steal God’s money.

I’ve witnessed Bishop’s fundraising when he comes here in United States. Everything’s done in transparency.

Abush negative mindset in regard to servants of God who have and are serving God faithfully. They Have the right to riches which some could be even used to supporting God’s work as some pastors does here in US and other countries.

Unlike other tuntemba churches Bread of…

  21. People still bury their heads in the sand. Owning or running churches has become ‘big business’ over the years. Not all, but a lot of preachers have used money contributed from ‘ordinary’ people for their own lavish lifestyles. Some people even declare that “as long as they are giving the money to God, they don’t care how it is used. God is the judge”. How myopic. The money is meant for ‘good works’ in the church – it can pay the preacher but it is also meant to effectively trickle down in various forms to the vulnerable. Lots of pastors have gotten very rich in a short space of time – some with very clear proven greedy hands to the money received in the churches.

  22. People will always criticize and they never get tired of talking whether you do good or evil. they will always find something to say. Bishop has been around for quite a long time and his wealthy can be traced. His not where he is now overnight but has labored and God has seen his faithfulness. His just reaping what he has sown. The bible says God can never be mocked a man will reap what he sows.

Congratulations once more Papa for the lifting.

  23. Did Jesus come from heaven to earth to enrich himself or live in Luxuries? He came to give us eternal life. He was born in a manger and died poor before he ascended to heaven. I end here.

    • Jesus was not poor. He was a Carpenter by trade. He was humble a lot. kikikiki don’t invent things.

Nothing wrong with Tithing, we need to hold these pastors and Bishops responsible though.

    • No Mateo, it does not end there. Jesus taught to avoid riches as an end to things but to remember, the REAL world beyond. This is wrong because it is a collection of big houses and acquiring wealth and things, in the name of Christ.

    • The is so much money in Church business, you dont have to look over your shoulders for ZRA as its tax free and when the fooolish masses try to question you just read them verses from the book of folly and lies!!

  24. …daylight thieving…coning gullible people in the name of religion….I will never get to understand 1diots who are easily duped into paying tithe to an individual claiming they are paying back to so called God…how…. what sort of bullsh1t is that…

  25. 10000 dull poor Zambians enriching a crooked pastor while they live in shacks and can’t afford to eat. These are the same 10000 that make silly decision at voting booths. Dull Africans

  26. He first built God’s house. I don’t see anything wrong with that, if God has blessed him and has found him faithful who are you to condemn him.
It it’s God who lifts he servants not man , we just give glory to God he is general in the army of the Lord leave him alone.
He has fought battles which you cannot fight

  27. Busy telling his faith blinded followers not to worry about tomorrow as they are just visitors on earth……..but he is busy building and investing for his family..! Beware of these magicians u call men of God..!

  28. Verily, verily I say to you, even Jesus Christ himself, NEVER, had a house on earth like that! He walked in the dessert and rode a donkey.

Be a disciple. People that Bishop are Mammon, Idolic worshippers AND CANNOT guarantee your entry into heaven. This is a new phenomenon, and our churches are full of leaders misleading people into idolic worship. If you are poor, God is punishing, if you don’t wear a weave on of Asian persons hair and fake nails to Sunday worship, God is punishing you. LOST their way.

  29. It has become a career and a lucrative one at that.Encourage your children and relative to pursue that as a career.

  30. Nevers Mumba is building his house in Ibex Hill. I hear its a posh house also.mmd people are complaining.

  31. The Apostles John warned: “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the World is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:15-17). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, asked: “What is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul” (Matthew 16:26)? Our purpose on this earth is to bring glory to God by doing what He has told us to do in the Bible. A wise man wrote: “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man”…

  32. Jesus Cleanses the Temple
    (Matthew 21:12-17; Mark 11:15-19; Luke 19:45-48)

:12] After this, He went down to Capernaum with His mother and brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there a few days.

:13] When the Jewish Passover was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
:14] In the temple courts He found men selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and money changers seated at their tables.
:15] So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
:16] To those selling doves He said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a marketplace!”

:17] His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”

  33. MATHEW 19:
:16] And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
:17] And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.
:18] He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
:19] Honor thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
:20] The young man saith unto him, All these things have I observed: what lack I yet?
:21] Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
    :22] But when…

  34. :22] But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions.
:23] And Jesus said unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.
:24] And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

  35. Did I touch the Anointed? Hopefully not; for these are the words that will normally come out of the mouths of those that feel challenged and they will send the Holy Ghost Fire where God said;
Romans12:18] If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone.
:19] Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
:20] On the contrary, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head.”…

  36. Man of God or Business in Christ, it doesn’t matter cause the result is the same amassing wealth. Just hope he pays his fair of Taxes not hiding in church money. Church leaders are now on the same level as politicians in terms of wealth.

  37. This is a very nice house. Next the servant of God should think of the orphans in his church, He should build an orphanage for the orphaned children where they can find solace and confort. This is one of the command in the bible. Lokk after the widows and orphaned children so says the scripture. I believe he has many such people in his church.

  38. The Bishop ‘s House is an extension of the of the Church or House of the Lord. A lot of church activities take place there including receiving and hosting dignitaries, counselling , prayer sessions etc. You surely are not expecting the Bishop to conduct such activities in a dilapidated house in Kalingalinga for example?

On the other hand, Chengo please send your email or contact so that we may consult you for your professional services.

  39. Just to read through the already written scripture and dramatize the story, you can build such houses out of the money given by the poor fellows. Your heart is the church. Start your own ministry now!

  40. Its amazing how people can express high levels of ignorance and assault a servant of God.In this day and age we still complain of Bishops owning property! May God give him ten times more .Read the Bible and tell us which verse commands us to be poor .When man of God preaches prosperity you complain ,when he shows by example his a thief.People dont go reading nonsene till kingdom come equip yourself with knowledge in the Bible .Zambia is a christian nation argue with basis.God bless you sir we love you.Christians speak out!
