Speaking during a media briefing at his Lusaka’s new Kasama residence on Monday the 3rd April, 2017, Hichilema said coercing him to recognize Edgar Lungu as a dully elected President of Zambia without hearing the Petition is just a sheer waste of time because he will not concede until justice prevails on 2016 election results.
Hichilema, who insisted that he will not be forced to recognize President Edgar Lungu due to the fact the Presidential Petition was not heard in the courts of law said if they want him to be silent the petition should be heard forthwith.
The Opposition leader who was also hasty to convey a message of condolences to the families that lost their beloved ones during the fracas in kanyama involving his supporters and the Zambia Police on Sunday the 02nd April, 2017, Hichilema said the incidence was regrettable and has since accused President Edgar Lungu of killing citizens using the Police for his selfish motives.
“Hearing the Presidential Petition is the only key that can compel him and the entire UPND to stop talking about the 2016 General election results” Hichilema said
And commenting on Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo’s statement suggesting that the opposition UPND have been banned from holding rallies in the country until they reform and accept that President Lungu is Republican President, Hichilema said the statement by the Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo was due to lack of understanding on the Public Order Act which regulates Public gathering in Zambia.
He said the Home Affairs Minister should just go back to Katondo Street and continue with street his street business because the office he is currently holding too big for him.
“He should just go back to Katondo Street because that office is too big for him” He said
Hichilema also noted that Zambia is deprived economically due to the Patriotic Front (PF)’s poor leadership under President Edgar Lungu whom he described as a dictator and clueless leader.
Meanwhile, Hichilema has confirmed that he will attend the Kuomboka ceremony alongside his Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba slated for 8th April, 2017 after failing to take place for three years due to poor rainfall in Zambia.
“GBM and I are going for Kuomboka ceremony, I know someone thought we will not attend as UPND” Hichilema said
If chagwa is not hungry for power he wouldn’t be crying for recognition as president, he wouldn’t steal votes, all these points to bloody power thirst.

The petition ended at midnight on the 14th day even though HH tried to use both his money and his auntie Judge Chibomba in the dark of the night to extend an expired petition. Fortunately for us all, the Concourt corrected her the following Monday.
