ICC submissions close

Share

The public consultative process on Zambia’s membership to the International Criminal Court-ICC- is expected to come to an end on Friday, in readiness for the National symposium set for April 11th and 12th in Lusaka.

The national symposium will also provide a platform for citizens to verify their submission.

And Minister of Justice Given Lubinda says the two million Kwacha disbursed for the exercise is justified.

Mr Lubinda says the cash was drawn from the contingency fund budgeted for under the 2017 National budget.

He said the public consultations were crucial  because Zambia has to make a position by June during the African Union summit.

  2. TWO MILLION KWACHA FOR THIS ???????

Zambians have been scammed out of their hard earned tax money AGAIN!

I wonder which PF cardres bank account this is in now?

  3. Hmm!!!
ICC Exit on steroids and on Fast track. Is this what we promised Al Bashir the butcher? I’ve never known any issue in Zambia handled with such efficiency. HH, please get your legal team on the ready to challenge this further abrogation of our constitutional rights. Not in our name, Mr. Lungu. Do not taint our conscious and our souls with the blood money from Bashir. I thought we couldn’t go lower than this. But I was so wrong.

  4. GIVEN IS TOO SMUG ON THE EXIT FROM ICC. HE HAS THE BLESSING FROM THE GODFATHER. HOW CAN LUNGU SAY NO BUT GIVEN PERSIST. SOMEONE IS HIDING BEHIND THE OTHER TO LOOK INNOCENT BUT GIVEN WILL PAY THE PRICE.

  5. see if I am wrong but they consultative process will say pull out but HE will say I didnt want but you the pipo voted to pull out. It is a democracy so I followed the will of the pipo. This was set up the moment tha Mumba Phiri said that the Government want to stay in the ICC
We are like sheep…having the wool pulled over our eyes and being fleeced

  6. What a scam of epic proportions, pure greed, these callous mists have again robbed us in daylight with our eyes wide open. K2miilion for such a short time with little submissions? For us as long us we are breathing, we will not stop to oppose this misguided misrule bent on inflicting pain and poverty on innocent citizens. Chagwa is certainly the worst president this country has had for as long as I can remember. As for you Given, don’t thing for a moment that you will get out of this unscathed. If Albashar paid you to pull out of ICC, it will only be temporally as we will join as soon as a new government comes in all of you will be sent there just like Ghabho.

  7. Obviously it is a setting finish, if they were able to rig presidential election which were monitored-what of the whole process in their control? Determined result the people have said pull out of ICC. Results are that out of 30 districts 21 have said we pull out! Meanwhile it is visa-a-vis. Then Eddy Lung Chang will have accomplished his mission.
