Minister of Information Kampamba Mulenga says government is always ready to dialogue with national stakeholders.
Ms Mulenga told ZNBC News that government is ready to listen and attend to the concerns of various stakeholders.
She was speaking when she officially launched the Zambia Institute of Mass communication Education Trust 2017 turnaround strategic plan in Lusaka.
Meanwhile, Ms Mulenga said government desires a focused and ethical media.
The chief government spokesperson said there is need for media practitioners to attain special knowledge about areas of interest and governance.
At the same function, ZAMCOM Board chairperson Matongo Matamwandi said the institute almost closed four years ago due to lack of funds.
Mr Matamwandi called on continuous support from government and other stakeholders as the existence of the school is key to media development.

We have now forced the Zambian embassy to close in London till further developments. It has been assessed as a risk to have people from all walks of life to protest and instead authorities have asked the shut down of the Zambian embassy. Protests were called because of political persecutions of oppositions going on in Zambia.
