GBFC calm despite slow start to 2017 campaign

Green Buffaloes deputy coach Charles Bwale has remained calm despite the soldier’s slow start to the 2017 FAZ Super Division campaign.

Buffaloes have picked up four points from the possible 12 after posting two defeats, one win and a draw.
After Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Nchanga Rangers in Chingola, Bwale said it was too early to judge his team.
“It will be too early to call because have we just started the season. I think there is room for recovery after losing two matches,” Bwale said.

Buffaloes started the season with a win over Mufulira Wanderers before losing to Konkola Blades and later Nakambala Leopards.
“I think when the team has lost two games consecutively the confidence in some players tend to go down. A draw or a win can help to raise confidence in players,” he said.

Nchanga coach Bruce Mwape was annoyed by the home draw against Buffaloes.
“Playing home and getting one point is actually a bit disappointing. We were planning to get maximum three points but we failed to get the clincher against Buffaloes,” Mwape said.
Nchanga came from a goal down to share the spoils with Buffaloes.
