  1. When the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught, the last river … that wealth is not in bank accounts and that you can’t eat money.

  3. When the last tree is cut, the last fish is caught, and the last river is polluted; when to breathe the air is sickening, you will realize, too late, that wealth is not in bank accounts and that you can’t eat money.

  4. This is the problem with African countries, they never look at the potential and bigger picture!

The ban for now is fine but government should look for ways to propagate this tree and create huge forests to grow these tree in phases so that when one phase matures and is harvest and another is planted to replace it resulting in the country having a continuous supply of mukula for export.

  5. mukula tree my foot why zambia army to fight tree cutting men instead of planning ka friendly war between Tongaz and eastern/northerners? i.e PF AND UPND
