  1. useless chap who is teaching these chiefs how to refuse to be succeded and use autoctratic ways to silence their subjects just as he has done for opposition in zambia. Lungu would rather have these chiefs worship him. He is not open to criticism and these chiefs cannot criticise him as they are dependent on him for funding. It is a very laughable system of governance in zambia.

    • The chiefs seem to congregate only when the ordinary parliament is in adjournment. It is like distance students and others from University of Lusaka going to Unza when its full-time students are on recess! Laughable indeed …

I like chief Mathias Mpande (previously a don at School of Mines, Unza) though. Where is the only white chief from North Western province? Hope he is not preparing for Mkanda season for male initiates …

    • what a disgrace. house of chiefs and yet not even one of these nobles wearing traditional attire. All of them clad in western regalia. so even the chiefs are taking money from their communities and taking it to westerners by buying their shirts, suits, neck ties, underwear. how do you expect to develop like this? how do you expect to preserve your culture if you cant even represent the simplest of things your culture represents. your own clothes. i bet half of these nobles wear white names too. ati henry kanyanta sosala, mathias mpande. its a sad day for africa. we have all betrayed our ancestors. people beaten into submission to adopt a foreign culture. Be revolutionaries please mwebantu.

  2. jealous people (NEZ) never wins Mwenye uyivu ajinyonge . the fact your person (HH) lost the election does not give u the gusts to insult the president.

  3. Chief Ndambo is looking very distinguished.
Where is Chitimukulu in all this?
Too much photo focus on the lady Chiefs – Any reason why?

  4. Lazy has no shame at all…he has no understanding of separation of powers, what is he doing in the House of Chiefs addressing it.
“A House of Chiefs is not, constitutionally, a partisan institution within the body politic. Members of a House of Chiefs are selected neither by a universal suffrage process of those they represent nor by the state executive or legislature they advise: Their function is to express a cultural, historical and/or ethnic point of view on public policies.”

  5. @Jay Jay. The President can address any one and any group that willing to get his counsel. It is only UPND who are not interested and that is why they are being sighted for Treason and there is peace in the country.
