  1. That is where she belongs with her husband, Shocked that Zambians put then in state house no wonder the country is in a mess, Giving the most important job in the land to someone one who does not even qualify to be a street sweeper.

    • @1,

May your soul dangerously swamped in envy, bitterness, corrosive hatred and a sense of entitlement find hearing. As these vices degenerate, you’re losing your purpose for existence. By divine Grace and people power, President Chagwa is serving a full 5 year tenure and most likely to bag a final term come 2021. There is no way your kind of incorrigible hatred can win souls of voters when your causes are of envy and insolence.

In an election, there are winners and losers. Lungu won and Zambia is looking forward to 2021.

    • @Senior Citizen, The truth hates I am sorry, Show me the track record of EL, What has he done in life, The Guy has no CV, All his former class mate at UNZA, have their own law firms but alas your EL was a drunk who has nothing to show and he is doing the same to Zambia, Taking it in his direction of chawama and it will add to his CV of flops, Zambia a failed state. What Zambians have done is like asking a witch doctor to make you rich when he is living in a tent by the road side asking for your money.

    • @1.3,

Be advised that life is not linear. It’s a moving target and humanity exist in different time zones in the calendar of God. If your brother is in the Pacific time zone, and the sister in GMT where she gets day time first, it doesn’t mean the brother in the pacific will not have his day. Example, those of us who were born under trees and grew up in excruciating poverty, in the season of God we have also attained our memorable and rewarding vocations overtime better than circumstances were born in. We have defied all myth of your likes with a sense of entitlement. Such is the case of Chagwa in Zambia.

    • @Senior Citizen – @Muntu Wandi has asked you very clear questions and outlined clearly his basis for his claims. You fail miserably to respond with facts and logic. Instead you go off and start talking about timezones – life not being linear. Listen to yourself, it must hurt so much when you pass yourself off as a thinker when all you are is a paid cadre. We have a long way to go as a nation and as a continent, we must first get rid of your type. But for your immediate personal gratification, you have sacrificed at that alter of failure and mediocrity the future of Africa and you are prepared to fight for Africa to remain that way. I pray that your punishment before God be swift and severe.

    • I am also wandering, what are lungu achievements ???

Apart from plunging the country into the worst tribal hatred and division, debt and international orchestration , fail to see anything else.

    • @1.5, You can mutate into a trillion IDs, the point is that incorrigible hatred will always fail you. It’s impossible to register a critical mass that wins when all you know is bitterness. Chagwa excelled academically then successfully served in the legal professional in the Banking, mining and private sector practicing at Andrew Masiye legal firm. If winning legal cases for the Gabon disaster families, the Post newspapers, for Mr. Sata and indeed my own parent not mentioning many cases is not success unless one incorporates business, then 99% of humanity is failure. You may need to revisit your flawed logic. Work hard with zero shunning you will appreciate love and rationality.

    • #muntu wandi , My brother please grow a brain ! You are not telling charcoal burners or ba kaponya here. Not even the worst blogger can follow what you have written.

    • @1.5,

5 years is long to live in denial. Willfully you have resigned to a legion of trolls thriving on bitterness, envy, and delusions. Bitterness is as damaging as a week spent in a solitary confinement under a punitive incarceration tempo can do. You don’t solve problems by insulting people or indeed name calling them around the clock. Where faced with battles of life, rational approach is always a winner’s approach. It has dividends. Redeem yourselves as time is of essence. No matter the insults you spew, Chagwa is the Head of state with all instrument of powers. You have none but a hollow hoax. At a stroke of a pen he can change fate. Leadership is not a preserve of prutocrates only.

    • @Senior Citizen – I really don’t get what you are saying my friend. Why would you write so much stuff and mean so little if anything at all? Are you for real? Have you actually attended any school where someone mentioned to you the idea of critical and analytical thought? No human lacks any contribution to human discourse but I fear your incapacity to articulate anything of meaningful value beyond you talking to yourself in the mirror makes you quite useless by all measure and account. Trouble of course is that your like still have to decide for the rest of us – a human travesty by any measure.

    • Mutate a trillion times, you have yourself to blame. If anything, what is analytical about your daily insults to the 1st family? Hatred and envy are killing you chaps. Despite a crisis at hand, insults have failed you to grow a tent of winning votes. They will never turn your fate for the better. You don’t even know what a failed state is. Enjoy the dividends of envy and bitterness unabated. The sober Zambian masses will continue pushing for growth, stability and hope for all not only the rich. I beg to pen-off.

    • Under EL the commentator for German Vs Zambia sums it up, Thats what you get when you give a job to a vision- less person without a CV.

  2. The medical suprindendant is morbidly obese. He needs to loose weight. The same goes for the acting chief nursing officer. The beds are rusty and need a new coat of paint. What are those ugly blankets on the beds? Lungu is wearing an expensive outfit. The money used for that outfit could have been used for repairs on the wards or to purchase beds.

  3. This Indian is trying to bribe for contracts and tenders. This why there are expired being given to patients at UTH. There is crisis. The nursing leadership is in crisis. Under qualified and unexperienced people are being given the positions of nursing officer, matrons etc. This is a threat to patients. That medical doctor pictured is an embarrassment. He needs to go to the gym! He is at risk of stroke, heart attack, diabetes etc.

  4. THE EXAMPLE SET BY TRADE KINGS SHOULD CHALLENGE CORPORATE ZAMBIA TO GIVE TO THE COMMUNITY FROM WHICH THEY MAKE MONEY. WELL DONE. IF HH DID JUST ONE SUCH SMALL THING I WOULD BELIEVE IN HIM. IS HE STILL IN CELLS? AWE MUCHOSENI MWE. ICHOKE CHE WASHAUTI

  5. They go to MILPARK & MORNINGSIDE HOSPITALS, that’s why they neglect our hospitals.

We pay taxes for Govt to provide decent health-care, NOT for our taxes to be diverted to Milpark Hospital.

  6. Coptic hospital should be closed down. The doctors are incompetent and get away with negligence! I will never forget how the lead doctor abandoned his patient in respiratory arrest to go and run his clinic. The patient could not breath and a relative had to go and pull the doctor out of the clinic to see the patient who was dying. There was no emergency team to deal with the respiratory arrest. They are incompetent murderes!

  7. I agree Coptic hospital should be closed down. Fair view should be shut down as well. Their ITU is disgusting. Those dirty gowns and foot ware they force visitors to wear are stained with blood and have never be washed! Why do they not purchase disposable aprons! Not even in the USto they ask visitors to wear blood stained shoes and gowns ! They use disposable aprons and gloves! Disposable aprons are expensive!

  8. My sister had a c section there and was discharged with an infected wound with leaking pus! It shows the surgeons do not use sterile equipment. You would not expect this from a private hospital! As for ITU that is the death department. If your relative goes into that ITU know that they will not come out alive. Same for the so called Coptic ITU! The medical council of Zambia have better regulations of these private hospitals.

  9. Frankie disposable aprons are not expensive. I had a relative in ITU in the US. We were not ask to wear dirty gowns and shoes stained with blood. We wore disposable aprons and gloves. Those dirty things and fair view ITU are disgusting and a source of infection. There are only three pairs of dirty gowns and shoes. I remeber a queue of 10 people waiting to take turns to change into that filth when a friend’s father was in ITU. He died. The nurses were awful. The patient had dirty dressing, leaking iv line and the bed sheets were dirty and the ventilator was not being montoired! They even had non ITU nurses working in the ITU alone without supervision! These nurses had no idea how to care for a patient on a ventilator!

  10. First Lady, dancing and humbly cleaning hospital floors. Bless her. Service to her citizens is her calling card.

  11. Senior Citizen: Please do not waste your valuable contribution and trying to make bitter and wicked group of people to understand your analysis. There is a people that has a made a point of not appreciating anything positive in this country. Flying into Zambia with any airline will reveal a rare fact: There are more visitors, tourists, resident permit holders and diplomats entering Zambia than Zambian citizens. Why? There is something positive and economically valuable that is attracting people into the country. Today, three white ladies traveled from OR Tambo RSA on SAA to Ndola for the first time as tourists. Zambians are busy saying all sorts of negative things about their own country. It is always darker at dawn! Lets wait and see.

  12. Mama Esther and Mr Lux, thanks you for cleaning the new floor.

The floor that really needs cleaning is that of the Maternity Ward. It is a wonder how babies and mothers come come out alive, let alone how members of staff daily survive the dirt. The place is dirty. It will be worthy your attention.
    Let the corporate world assist.

  13. I can’t believe UTH is still having such terrible beds; i now understand why over 800 people have died there in one month

  14. We should learn to give credit where its due. I am very happy with the work that the First Lady is doing. What she did on these picture shows a mother of the nation.

  15. The same negative attitude most of you fellows have against your own nation has contributed to stagnation of development. Ask yourselves what is it that you have done to make Zambia a better place as you want it to be? Have you ever contributed any kwacha to any charity or place which requires upgrading as our colleagues do in the western world? The answer is no, but all you think of is blaming the government of the day, look at Trump, GMC owners, Ross Perot and Bill gates they are giving back their wealth to America by contributing to charity organisations so as to help those in need, but all what you people here know is blaming the govt.
Your greediness has also made Zambia to be were it is today, whenever you have money you end up investing in foreign countries hence enriching the…

  16. All for show…900 plus people die monthly at UTH…
Sad Zambia .. My beloved country
So much potential with beautiful , intelligent , polite and humbel people.

God see all and there will be a time of reckoning…. everything has a begin and end
