Power humble Chambeshi in Kitwe derby

Share

Beston Chambeshi’s third coaching stint at Nkana started with a 2-1 loss against Power Dynamos on Saturday in the big Kitwe derby played at Nkana Stadium in Wusakile.

Chambeshi, who replaced fired Zeddy Saileti on Wednesday, saw Nkana give away a first half lead to lose this Week 12 match of the FAZ Super Division.

Striker Martin Phiri was the hero for Power after scoring a double for the visitors.

Kalampa made a false start with Shadreck Musonda opening the scoring on 19 minutes.

Phiri , who benefited from defensive lapses in the Nkana team, registered his goals in the 42nd and 47th minutes to steal the lime-light.

The win pushes Power to 20 points with Nkana remaining stuck on 16 points after 12 matches played.

    • But imagine LT doesnt even put them in the story. We just see them in the results bu mutola nkhani bumbi!

    • Best on made the worst decision to leave Lumwana to take up Nkana, where he will be fired. No one should work for Nkana.
I don’t like Nkana, same behavior as PF.

  1. Headline; Power did not play Chambeshi, they played Nkana. It was Kabwe who outdid Chambeshi…

GBFC versus People’s Team this afternoon!!!

  2. I have said it several times that there is one variable remaining unchanged in the inefficiency equation at Nkana. Other variables being players and technical bench. Players and technical bench being changed many times numerous to count. This variable namely Executive Committee is it a constant in this equation. Executive committee at Nkana must resign and give chance to those prepared to work and bring back our glory. This committee have failed us beyond any reasonable thought. Kabila resign together with your team enough is enough.

We do not need any explanation from them but just pave way for others. We do not want to reveal incompetence of this Committee before the public. How could a committee fail to handle a simple transfer of a player and end up paying thousand of kwacha to FAZ…
