President of Rwanda Paul Kagame is expected in the country tomorrow on Monday 19th June 2017 for a two day state visit.

President Kagame is coming to Zambia at the invitation of his Zambian counterpart President Edgar Lungu.

ZANIS reports that Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba told ZANIS in an exclusive interview that the two leaders are expected to hold talks on Monday to share best practices and strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.

Mr. Kalaba said the visiting President of Rwanda is also expected to visit and lay wreaths at the Presidential burial place at the Embassy Park where three late Zambian Presidents are buried.

Mr. Kalaba said President Lungu will host a dinner at Intercontinental hotel for his guest on the same day in the evening.

The minister said President Kagame will be taken to Kafue District to tour Kafue Steel Company which is owned by Universal Mining and Chemicals Industries Limited under Trade Kings group.

He said President Kagame wants to learn how Zambia is industrialising hence the move to take him to one of the companies involved in steel metals.

Mr. Kalaba stated that the visiting President is expected to leave the country on Tuesday after touring the steel plant in Kafue.

He explained that the state visit is important for both countries as the two leaders need to share knowledge on various issues.

He said Zambia can learn from Rwanda because that country is much advanced in the area of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) which Zambia is trying to develop.

He added that the visit is also meant to ensure that the two countries begin to support each other at various fora that include the African Union, the Great Lakes and COMESA among others.
The Foreign Affairs Minister disclosed that the two countries want to develop a memorandum of understanding for the exchange of teachers of French from Rwanda to help Zambia’s education sector.

    • Kagame, quite an amazing character, is he not”? He is one of Africa’s least educated presidents, and yet able to address a Town Hall meeting at Stanford University!

THE UN AND THE US GETTING TIRED OF SUPPORTING AND COVERING UP FOR KAGAME’S BUTCHERING OVER 8,000,000 IN RWANDA AND DRC

“Kagame has far outstripped Idi Amin as a mass killer [Amin’s killings are estimated at 100 000 – 300 000, whereas Kagame’s surely run well over (8) million civilians]”. (From “Peter Erlinder jailed by one of the major genocidaires of our Era” by David Paterson; 6/17/2010).

    • A picture tells a thousand words according to semiotics research. Any well established researcher who is associated with criminal investigations within the college of law or school of journalism, can confirm my assertion. An analyst looks for clues which do not seem obvious in a picture at a crime scene. Let us assume that the above picture is a crime scene, thus, the clues are such that the two Zambian representatives were instructed to convene a trip for the Rwandan genocide participant (Paul Kagame). Recall that the villain sent the two Zambian reps to convince the genocide participant to come to Zambia, therefore, the villain (Lungu) has to settle all expenses pertaining to Kagame’s visit to Zambia. Kagame has no interest in visiting Zambia, but to Lungu the visit justifies his…

    • Kagame’s would-be visit justifies Lungus presidency, although he ascended to power through fraudulent procedures. Nonetheless, Lungu is yet to exhibit falsehoods in which he will inform the nation that Zambia will accrue huge economic benefits from such temporary measured associations. The intended visit has no economic benefits for Zambia. Rwanda has nothing to offer Zambia at any tangible level. The same can be said about Zambia except that Lungu will abuse state resources meant for indigent Zambians, because he will settle all costs/expenses which will be incurred by Kagame during his future visit to Zambia. Lungu has been rejected by a formidable section of the population, thus, he is going out of his way to gain international recognition. Viva HH, viva UPND.

    • Probably the useless subject is French. I took it in secondary school, ever understand its use, except for proposing ladies.

    • 1. One Dictator after another trekking to visit their newest member, lungu. Next will be Kabila visiting.

This drunkard has assaulted the democracy we attained for in 1991.

Why don’t democratic presidents want to visit lungu?

      2. Zambian women should protest after Kagame’s daughter insulted them.

  1. This is what Lazy Lungu was giving examples of on the airport tarmac; fellow dictators visiting means everything in the country is going okay…what a dull lazy sausage we have in State House. The Lazy sausage craves recognition!!

    • Jay Jay you are as dull as your pumpkin HH(Hyena Haachimona waku Mukobeko) who is the dictator (there are no elections in UPND) and thief of our privatised mines and hotels. Your thief Will never be allowed to rule Zambia!!!!!

    • Jay jay. Let go off your hate, you killing your small brains. Whatever you say . It wont make any difference we have the president and we are proud of him 100 percent. Hate the game not the player.

  2. Kagame is by far more intelligent than Lungu. He is more astute and though he has outlived his welcome, he has something to show in terms of concrete development. Mr Lungu has threats, travelling and borrowing as his major achievements.

  3. The passive aggressive Lungu is sending a clear message, read between the lines.
Now! Zambia being Zambia, all these efforts to create an oppressive society are vanity of all vanities.
By the grace of God, Some people have already exceeded their allotted time on Earth and foolishly they are using this extension to create a kingdom for themselves. Your appointed time of judgment is near.
KK & Banda were wise enough to know the times. As for the financial mismanagement, take a cue from one FTJ and his crew. Sadly are all prematurely dead now.
“What does it profit a Man to gain the whole world and then loose his soul?”

    • You ex convict you have just been released from prison and you before you even wash the stench on your body you start insulting. By the way how are the jerabos.

  5. EL has spent more on the presidents visits and trips than anything important. Two high pofile visitors in a month a fun trip to Lesotho. I presume Ed doesn’t know what he wants to achieve.

  6. Kagame we dont want you in Zambia. You are a killer. Every time you visit Zambia Rwandese nationals go into hiding. We dont want killers in Zambia.

  7. @NEZ:you are back with your nonsense ka?how is Kainde in Mukobeko?
HOPE MR PAUL KAGAME WILL VISIT THE DUNDUMWEZI REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT HH IN MUKOBEKO TOO!!!

Welcome to Zambia the Real Africa Mr.Kagame!!

THIS IS “CIKUBABE SEASON”-UPND AMWA DOOM!!!
BRAVO ECL AND GO PF GO!!
    VOTE ECL-2021!!

    • @njimbu are u at kindergatten?so ati mwalanda , whats there to be proud of mulu ba lungu and do we need people like kagame to learn from surely?

  8. ‘He said Zambia can learn from Rwanda because that country is much advanced in the area of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) which Zambia is trying to develop.’ Hilarious!! Rwanda? Advanced what?

    • On that one he is right. Do your research before your expose your ignorance by calling this assertion hilarious. A case in point, Rwanda was one of the first countries in the world to introduce e-visas. Also, do you know that Rwanda has as cashless public bus system? Do you know that Rwandan has the world’s first drones airport?

  9. Lets hope Kagame will come teach PF how to run a cleaner + disciplined city.Kigali is spotless ,well planned and prudently managed unlike Lusaka with filthy Misisi, dirty Kulima bus station and Cairo Rd full of hawkers.

  10. Let’s hope Kagame will tell Lungu the dangers of a Civil War. “An injury on One is an injury for all of us”. By Incarcerating and persecuting HH ,Lungu has injured all of us and God will punish him. Refusal to recognize Lungu as President is not a Crime and certainly not Treason. Lungu should just release HH from Jail unconditionally and start unconditional Dialogue. Lungu can invite all his friends to Zambia but that will not solve his illegitimacy in the eyes of Zambians. The 3 Mother Bodies have Spoken on behalf of the Silent Majority and Lungu must listen and take action. Lungu can ignore these Voices of Reason at his own Peril. Lungu needs Dialogue..Dialogue with HH and that Petition needs to be resolved without fail.

  11. Why are some of you people saying such bad things about Kagame when he has transformed Rwanda into a great nation from the ravages of genocide? There’s a lot that our President has to learn from his Rwandan counterpart

  12. hhmmmmm…. to promote best practice????? is Zambia still struggling with issues of best practice sure???? When are Zambians going to be fully empowered to be involved in major projects?? I want to see real native Zambians behind such massive projects not mwenyes!!!!!!

  13. Nothing you can do to change our mind we like Kagame as our president he did lots abviously he isn’t the one who prepared Genocide instead he came to save us and since he is president there is improvement we are proud of him
