Chief Executive Officer of the leading Human Resource Company, Prosoft, Ms Miyanda Katiwa has joined the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) party.

Miyanda, 44, a successful business woman and a full time farmer running Pamushana Farm, was received by the PF Deputy Secretary General Mrs Mumbi Phiri during the PF Interactive Forum held at Chrismar Hotel in Lusaka on Sunday.

Announcing her decision shortly after the PF interactive Forum, the founder of Prosoft said she joined the PF because the party was pursuing initiatives and policies that resonates with her values.

“I made a decision to join PF because the party and the government are driving initiatives that resonate with me. In his inaugural speech, His excellency the President mentioned that he was focused on moving the country from dependency on copper to agriculture. PF is also pushing for women empowerment – an area that is very close to my heart. As an entrepreneur over the years, I have accumulated skills and knowledge that I can use to be part of the development of Zambia,” said Mrs Katiwa.

Meanwhile, Patriotic Front Deputy Secretary General has warmly welcomed Mrs Miyanda Katiwa and promised to nature her to appreciate grassroot politics.

“I will immediately introduce you to Councillor Chilando so that you get acquainted with grassroot politics, that is the way to start. I wouldn’t mind someone that starts from the grassroot like you to take over from us now that age is catching up,” stated Mrs Phiri.

    • Uko!

This Miyanda Katiwa will be only used & discarded by PF bandits. Katiwa is being welcomed by a PF attack & tribalistic northern Mumbi Phiri to be an assistant attack galu for PF bandits.

Joining PF is like joining Satan, all are useless bandits not needed in a democratic society.

    • EX-Minister In Dog SEX SCAM
A TRAUMATIZED middle-aged woman says she regrets having a string of sexual encounters with dogs perpetrated by a disgraced former Cabinet Minister and two immoral Kabwe businessmen one of whom is known to be a practicing homosexual.
“They used to force drugs on me so that I forget about the emotional pain they were inflicting on me,” Anita explained.

She disclosed that the ring leader of the sophisticated syndicate is a former Minister in the MMD regime.

The traumatized woman said the disgraced Minister who we are going to soon expose runs brothels in Kabwe and other parts of the country.

“They used to shot the sex videos and sell them to the Europe where there is a hot market for erotic business,” she said.

Asked whether she is still in the…

    • To every Laura Miti, there is a Miyanda Katiwa. LoL!! Bernadette Deka couldn’t fill the shoes? LOL!!

    • My honest opinion is No good meaning businessman/woman whose business is doing fine joins African politics, Unless you want favours because underneath you business is not ok, I do not think the reasons given by this woman are true, No one joins PF in its current form, Unless you failing and going down.

    • My niece I have never met but your dad is my second cousin. You are an intelligent woman. I hope you wont soon start reasoning and talking like Mumbi Phiri, Chanda, Fr Bwalya, etc. Something immediately happens when a person joins PF. They start thinking in reverse dununa.

    • At least she is being sincere, I will now not condemn all tongas as being government rebels, in fact I will now start recruiting more tongas into PF so that we can get back to what we once were, a united Zambia.

    • Miyanda is a self promoter with her own self published bio to top it. No doubt she is smart and successful but this is a dud move for her that she will regret. Ride your success with humility Miyanda, it will serve you better.

  1. There’s a wrong notion out there that one can only make meaningful contribution to our beloved country by joining the political fray. Wrong!!! Politicians survive on handouts (tax payers), the real heroes and heroines are those boys in Kalingalinga who are self employed, those women marketeers working up at 04hrs, the peasant farmers, etc. I don’t rate those politicians driving 4×4 handout cars. It’s actually a disgrace that people have enriched themselves out of politics. That’s zero contribution they make, they are parasites.

    • True that! Thats why the majority of them cannot survive long enough after leaving govt. These parasites have no shame, they will jump from one party to another like monkeys just so they can bootlick and lineup their pockets.

  2. Most of these so called business people join ruling parties to get more tenders from Govt. She cannot cheat anyone.

    • There’s no cure for stoopidity. Business is tough but there’s no need to embrace evil just to make ends meet. We will leave that to Bembas and their sympathisers.

  3. She has realised what I have always been telling people, you can never (NEVER) make it in business without been connected to the party in power. Bravo my sister, thats the way life goes. Why suffer??????

  4. In Zambia when u re a business person and join politics your businesses suffer and you become a good politician. Or you don’t put your mind in politics and your business flourishes. The 2 don’t work well together

  5. It is her choice and thus it should be respected. I wish you the best in your new endevour, Miyanda. May the Lord bless you.

  6. Don’t be surprised. Business is an integral part of politics. Capitalism is dead! All hail is fascism!

  7. Njala yamunyokola! To think she’s been all business over the years and suddenly get into books with PF says a lot about the economy and her character. Why announce your political move so publicly as a businessperson? So many of us in business are aligned to one or the other party in Zambia but never make a public meal of it. This is a shameless display of her loyalty for the party big wigs to give her either a juicy position or business deals. Njala yamunyokola.

  8. A stupid decision although I don’t know her, the foolishness of this poverty stricken country citizens is that they think that for their business to flourish they must toe the lines of the masquerades. Why not quietly run your business professionally and honestly?

  9. Unless if she joined the party that you support we could have not heard of all your complaints, grow up!!and to Miyanda all the best in your chosen path.

  10. GOOD FOR YOU KATIWA,
IF YOU REFUSE TO PARTICIPATE IN POLITICS, YOU WILL BE LED BY PEOPLE WHO ARE LESS THAN YOU MENTALLY.
