    • Look at that Jet where he is standing waving a PF symbol…that’s a chartered Private Jet with white Pilots and air hostess…just imagine how much money GRZ is spending on hiring that!!

    • Bana mayo or women in zambia or Africa please stop wearing these hairs from Indians. For the sake of your beauty please stop it. Surely this 100 human hair is actually real and you surely put it on your head? Hair of dead people or hair sacrificed to Hindu gods. Refrain from these hairs from Brazil or India and stay beautiful as black woman. Ni Inferiority complex disorder syndrome.

    • @house fly
Look at Photo 5 even Lazy Lungu face is cringing at the sight of that wig on top of that lady/person with black top…really laughable!!

    • Finally putting the face to K Zulu, who is enjoying unparalleled authority which he takes to the pitches of.football.

  1. Twice in three days the defence chiefs and the cabinet have been called to KKIA to see off this utterly LAZY thing Edgar depart…honestly what is productive about this? Why can you just fly out quietly?

    • look at all those people in the background watching in PF gear …even the work men on the construction building have stopped working. Does this Lazy Bum Edgar not see anything wrong with this…do you craze for recognition that much?

  2. Defence chiefs – protocol as for the people even if they are told to go away or not to come they will still come because they love him. what about you who goes to court just to have a grips of your under five. do not worry about the aircraft all the trips have been budged for, whom do you want to spend money apart from the Eagle 1.

  3. if your under five can be accorded an air craft what more with His Excellence the President of the Republic of Zambia. jealous bati.

    • How can one be jealous of wasting money…would you be jealous of your father drinking imported whiskey and cigars when you have no food in the house? The maid is not paid…do you know how long it takes to get to the KKIA from Civic Centre and back just to see off someone who is going for a days meeting. I have seen this useless veep more on the tarmac than in the office or issuing important statements.

  4. It is not jealous…Do you know how much President trips cost? The President does not pay taxes but you and me pay taxes. What ever income you get , you must pay taxes for the President to travel.
Just his per diem for a day is more than your monthly income.
When you under financial distress , you act prudently. that is the normal way of doing things.
The budget under state house is an issue I cant divulge as many may think I am malicious. all I can say is that the country need money hence IMF bailout

  5. Why is it such a big event whenever the President is leaving the country or arriving? Is it really necessary?

    • Unfortunately this has been carried forward from Time of Kaunda. Until a president who will be different comes in and stops it Otherwise it will carry on and on. Here in Australia you wouldn’t even know you are overtaking the prime minister because he is just human unlike in zambia all our presidents we have had, feel more heavy than anyone like they are gods of some kind.

  6. When the american president is flying there one or two marines standing near his helicopter or plane. No cadres, generals, ministers. These pipo remaining working.

  7. Look at photo 6 …surely what is it with our women and wigs; that lady/ person looks ridiculous in that silly thing on top of her/his head. In fact she looks like a …who is that?

  8. Leave ECL alone, he is not the one who created that protocol system he found it and it will go go go on. I tell you its nice to be a President. See that General turned Protocol office wearing FBI like sunglasses directing the President. Its nice. Its one President at a TIME. Late Mwanawasa tried to do away with the cadres but failed, they are there to warm things and assure the MAN in Charge that He is the Leader. FULL STOP.

  9. Why does the whole Government have to come to a standstill whenever the President is travelling? This just shows the lack of seriousness in our political set up. It would suffice just for the Chief of Protocol to see off and receive the Head of State so that the rest of his people can stay in their offices and work for the hefty salaries they are paid instead of loitering in the name of seeing off or receiving the President!!

  10. The meeting he is going for can be attended by a junior official – who would ‘sneak out’ quietly without all this work stoppage and waste of resources. Tomorrow the same hordes of cadres will be seeing him off on the so-called Copperbelt working visit. Other persons in government can officiate for the Ndola airport and the so-called groundbreaking ceremony to construct township roads in Chingola. But as the GREAT and DEAR leader, he has to be at every Kantemba opening ceremony.

  11. Look at the crowds and the body language of the ministers. There is so much patronage never seen before not even in the Kaunda days. Lungu has become a God to them. Zambia is beginning to look like Mobutu Sese Seko’s Zaire. Some of us who have seen all past Presidents can sense danger. Zambians please wake up before it’s too late. Lungu doesn’t mean well for Zambia.
