President Edgar Lungu has said that he will soon take action on some PF officials on the Copperbelt province so as to instill discipline in the ruling party.
President Lungu said that he will consequently announce dismissals and suspensions on the Copperbelt province following squabbles that have rocked the party in the province , recently.
ZANIS reports that the Republican President ‘s decree comes after Sataurday’s meeting which was held at Levi Mwanawasa Stadium to discussing the way forward following infighting within the party on the Copperbelt.
President Lungu said a number of things came out during Saturday evening’s meeting were it was evident that Ndola was the centre of the problem.
He mentioned he was also going to make changes in the council.
The Head of State however noted that he was angry due to the ensuing confusion within the party in the province.
He warned that some people were abusing the law and that those abusing the law shall have to face the wrath of the law.
President Lungu was speaking at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe airport shortly before his departure for Lusaka.
He was on the Copperbelt on a two day working visit where he launched the construction of the New Copperbelt International Airport in Ndola and the C400 Township road project in Chingola District.
Copperbelt Minister Bowman Lusambo, Transport and communications minister Brian Mushimba among other Cabinet ministers, saw off the Republican President.
Also present were Copperbelt based members of Parliament, District Commissioners, mayors and party and government officials.
This is precisely why I think he is our greatest president we have ever had.
He is a man of action all along.

He went to CB as republican president but much of his rhetoric was on party lines. If someone steals or is accused either the accuser should prove or the accused should prove that nothing was stolen. In this case, the causer if given the chance could potentially prove but that does not mean the accused cannot defend themselves with evidence not turning traffic offenses into treason anf arresting an innocent person.

Already domestic Revenues have declined by 10% and next year the Eurobonds are maturing and will need re-financing. With the exposure that Zambia’s Debt was concealed for years and is now $17.2 Billion and with HH in Jail on Trumped up Treason Charges the IMF Board will Not approve that Loan and the Kwacha Exchange Rate will sharply rise.
